CMLL FSE GdR - 03/23/08 (#83)
Recapped: 03/29/08

I have no sound for this show. Can't do much about it now. It also started 13 minutes late, which means we lose a fall later on. FSE cut many of their commercial breaks to one minute to make this catch up.

Open: No announcers, but promos from Rey and Panther.

Match 1: Amapola (c), Medussa, Rosa Negra vs Dark Angel (c), Luna Mágica, Princesa Blanca
Arena Coliseo, 03/02/08

  1. rudas
  2. tecnicas
  3. tecnicas

Winner: Tecnicas (2-1)
Match Time: 5:31 shown
Approx Rating: too short to mean anything.
Other Match Notes: Entrances. They never cut the first segment but this would've been a nice place to do it. Medusa and Rosa Negra share an entrance and yell at the tecnicas from outside. This lets Amapola sneak in the side and jump Dark Angel from behind (while still wearing her belt.) Dark Angel and Amapola do the promos.

1: Ruda beatdown. Amapola takes a triple boot. Double spinebuster, double back elbow for Luna Magica. Blanca just gets choked for a while. Dark Angel is set up in the corner so Amapola can do her running sit there. Luna tries to make the save, and ends up taking Medusa's swinging slam. She's pretty well dead, so much so that they have to pause from beating up Blanca to stomp Luna out of the way/ring. Corner clothesline for Blanca, then a drop toe hold and  Rosa dropkick to the face. Pins? Dark Angel in for a third time, whip, spinebuster, Amapola sideways campana for the fall.

Medusa gets Blanca with a spinebuster and a standing figure four pin, and Rosa Negra gives Luan Magica a suplex for fun.

2: Beatdown continues, as does the seizure inducing lights. Just individual brawling now. Amapola does a mocking dance for Dark Angel, and it's great. Sarah's eventually isolated in the ring, and tentatively whipped back and forth for a double back elbow. Luna's in next and grabbed before she can do anything. Luna's whipped off the ropes, walks back slowly, and gets shoved hard. Rosa Dropkicks her out. Corner charges for Blanca. They seem to be giving her the spots which involve her standing still. Dark Angel back in again. Corner whip, Dark Angel foot brakes in the corner, evades Amapola's charge, dusk the double clothesline from the others, and the tecnicas seconds take them. Dark Angel pummels Amapola in the corner while the other tecnicos quickly end. Amapola runs away and mockingly claps for the tecnicas form the safety of the floor. "One to One!"

3: CUT. Tecnicas won, Dark Angel wants a shot, and we'll see it next week.

Match 2: Atlantis (c), Rey Bucanero, Sangre Azteca vs Blue Panther (c), Dos Caras Jr., Volador Jr.
Arena Coliseo, 03/02/08

  1. tecnicos
  2. rudos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: tecnicos
Match Time: 14:03
Approx Rating: Long-ish, but not anything extraordinary.
Other Match Notes: Volador has moved from the Cena You Can't See Me to the Triple H water spit. Dos has his belt. Volador and Atlantis handle the promos.

1: Panther and Rey  start, but it's Atlantis and Dos who have the extended and entertaining mat battle. Volador sends Sangre out with a fireman's escape headscissors and follows with a nice tope con giro. Dos takes out Atlantis with backbreaker and goes for a submission, Rey grabs him with a sunset flip, Dos rolls thru, Rey covers up, and Panther kicks him from behind. Panther and Dos dropkick Atlantis, Atlantis recover to try and 'rana Panther, Panther counters it into a step over toe hold while Dos gets Rey with a side headscissors cradle.

2: Sangre and Panther start, with Sangre taking down Panther with kicks to the right leg, then switching to chops. Corner whip, Sangre charges, Panther moves, Sangre bounces off the corner, and into a monkey flip, Atlantis takes over, whips Panther, and whiffs on a clothesline. Panther gets whim with a clothesline, Atlantis gets back to his feet and catches Panther with a monkey flip, but Panther lands on his feet and catches Atlantis with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker as he charges. Atlantis grabs his back and tags in Rey. Rey slingshots in, and trips over the top rope in the process! Fans are on Rey, but Guerreros try to explain it as Atlantis accidentally grabbing the top rope. Atlantis apologizes to his good friends, they hug, crowd gets on them ore. Some how, this leaves Sangre in with Dos. Sangre is not happy about this turn of events. Rey in? Yea, just to check Dos' biceps. Rey checks Sanger's bicep, figures it's close enough, and throws him back into the champ. Sangre does his double bicep pose. Dos points out his bicep is bigger than Sangre's leg. Sangre challenges to come off the ropes, and runs right into a shoulderblock. Sangre need a moment to do do some push ups. Okay, now he's totally ready. Off the ropes, shoulderblock down goes Sangre. Huh. Dos picks Sangre up, fires him up. Sangre chest slaps Dos, and  tells him to try the shoulderblock. Dos agrees, off the ropes, shoulderblock sends Sangre flying out of the ring. Maybe that wasn't the best of plans. Rey surprises Dos with forearms, then takes off his glove. But no chops, oddly. Corner whip, Dos sits on the top rope, Dos slaps him in the head, kicks Atlantis as he charges towards the corner, and lifts Rey off the mat by his hair. Atlantis comes over again, so Dos gets both of them with the headscissors/headlock double combo. Dos ducks a double clothesline, leapfrogs them on the next pass, dropkicks the out, and kips up to his feet. Dos off the ropes, to the ropes, dive fake. Sangre thought about cutting him off, and decided he didn't want to be crushed. He stays into face Volador instead. Volador off the ropes, over, and into a Sangre's wheel kick. Sangre on him with stomps, and the rest of the rudos rush the tecnico. Dos knocked to the floor, double boot to Panther. Volador is corner whipped by the group, Atlantis leisurely walks in to give him a shoulder to the midsection. and sits him on the top rope. Rey whips Sangre into a run up the ropes headscissors on Volador. Guerreros cover him for 3. Both Dos and Panther come in, and it takes two of them to get Dos under control. Panther is dumped so everyone can work over Dos. Whip into a Sangre spinebuster, and Rey and Atlantis hold Dos for Sangre's missile dropkick to the butt. One two three.

El Arte de Catch

3: Beatdown continues. Panther's stomped down in the ring as the fall starts. As usual, he's held and people take turns beating him. Atlantis get in a lot of shots, Rey gets in one shot then stands too close and gets kicked. Rey dropkicks him out in anger. Volador comes in the ring but has no plan and gets cornered. Sangre does the Guerrero sit. Atlantis taunts Dos into coming in, though Dos is in no hurry. Dos is kicked coming thru the ropes. Whip, Atlantis spinebuster, slingshot into a Sangre back elbow, and Rey squashes Dos with a tope rope twisting senton. Panther back in for the another Guerrero sit, but Dos trips  Rey on the run to get things turned around. Sangre takes a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, Atlantis take the superkick just as we look away. Rey gets knocked into the a first row seat by Dos, and asks to have a sip of the drink from the woman next to him. She gives him the drink, but Dos steals it and smashes it into Rey's head. Time killing going on in the ring. Volador unties Atlantis' mask in here. Dos fights Rey to the ramp, hiptosses him towards the ring, and Rey slides all the way down back to the ring. Atlantis and Sangre mange to turn things around in the ring, holding Volador in the corner for some mask yanking. Atlantis and Rey back up for more, but get laid out Dos and Panther. Panther monkey flips Volador to set up a 'rana on Atlantis, and that's the match. Rey takes a Panther suastica, and Sangre press powerbombs Sangre for good measure

That's it.
