Match 1: Dr. X, Hooligan (c), Súper Comando vs Fabián el Gitano, Leono, Tony Rivera (c)
Arena Coliseo, 10/07/07

  1. tecnicos
  2. rudos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnico (2-1)
Match Time: 10:29
Approx Rating: Fun enough to see some of these guys on TV for once.
Other Match Notes: PROMO TIME FOR SUPER COMANDO. Tony Rivera looks like a young Mascara Ano 2000 in his picture. (Young being a relative term.) Fabian's promo involves him laughing at his own joke.

1: Match is joined with Tony and Hooligan work on the mat. Leono vs Super Comando, yay. Lockup, waistlock, Leono into a hammerlock, Super Comando armdrags out and gets waistlock on the mat. Leono reverses it to an armbar, and gets up to his feet. Super Comando reveres to an armdrags, but Leono rolls into an armdrag reversal. Leono tries to look intense. Not working. Lockup, Super Comando takes down Leono with a double wristlock, Leono leverages up into a bodyscissors armdrags. Comando slide short of the ropes and complains about - I have no idea, actually. Those empty seats in the front row, maybe. Lockup, no, Comando with a single leg, standing knee bar, Leono reverses with a headscissors from the mat. Zero leg trip, zero leg trip, standoff, everyone claps. Everyone on the tecnico side of the apron, anyway. I'm not so hyped for Dr. X and Fabian. Dr. X chest slaps Fabi, Fabian reverses a corner whip into a top rope armdrag, and there's lots more armdrags to com. Dr. X out after a dropkick, but the rudos cut off Fabian before he can dive. Whip, double clothesline ducked, Fabian waved by - that seem dumb and Fabian makes them pay with a springboard double back elbow. Quebrada for Dr. X - Fabian got no distance on that, it was odd looking. Rest of the tecnico sweep on the fall

2: Leono and Super Comando to start. Leono off the ropes, into a back elbow. Comando chest slaps him m into the corner. Corner whip, Leono gets his feet up, flips past Comando's upraised feet, waved by, and back again with a twisting headscissors. Comando charges, right into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Hooligan and Tony in. Tony leapfrogs, and Hooligan just runs right thru him, knocking him down. Off the ropes for a movement, ending with Hooligan taking a monkey flip. Tony gets the climbing the ropes armdrag and teased a dive. Fabian in - and ht rudos have had enough, they're jumping this one. Fabian's choked, and Hooligan discusses world matters with the tecnicos as Fabian eats a double clothesline. Tecnicos were pretty laid aback about the three on one till that, but jump in the ring to get Hooligan. Hooligan uses the ref to cut off Leono, and the other three take care of Leono for a bit. He's tossed by his hair and ends up out. Tony in, and cover charges color him. Dr. X gets in the corner dropkick to the groin. Leono worked over again. Corner clotheslines and he gets the dropkick to Fabian. Everyone covers, and he's done. Leono runs in and he's tossed. Dr. X puts to Tony in a standing octopus hold, and that's the fall.

El Arte del Catch: La Estrella - the star multiman submission

3: it briefly looks like we've missed the comeback, with Tony and Hooligan alone in the ring and the other rudo on the apron, but quickly swarm him 3 on 1 and pummel Tony for a bit. Tony's set up for a triple dropkick, but Dr. X and Super Comando are yanked out by the tecnicos, and Hooligan's looking at the crowd rather than Tony. When eh charges, he charges into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Tony waits for Hooligan to get up, shoulderblock, Hooligan tries a tilt-a-whirl, Tony gets free, Hooligan chest slaps him into the corner. Hooligan goes after him, only to be cut off with Leono coming in with a springboard headscissors.  Super Comando dropkicks Leono out, Tony flattens Super Comando with a superkick. Tony backs up, charges Comando, and gets monkey flipped into a tope con giro on Hooligan (and almost past him.) Comando adds a plancha on to Tony, jabbing his knee into Hooligan on the way down. Fabian does a moonsault to the floor (!) and lives to tell the tell. This leaves Leono and Dr. X, and Leono starts his long combo: flapjack, elbow drop, elbow drop, to the apron, springboard elbow drop. Cover? Sure. One two three.

El Diseno: Euforia

Match 2: Euforia, Nosferatu, Satanico (c) vs La Mascara, Sombra, Volador Jr. (c)
Arena Coliseo, 10/07/07

  1. tecnicos
  2. rudos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnicos
Match Time: 10:18
Approx Rating: Good.
Other Match Notes: Sombra has his belt and does the random hair/mask challenge promo for his team. Monito is with La Mascara for whatever reason. Volador Jr. does not have his belt, but does have the matching gear. Satanico does the random mask challenge for his side.

1: We join in mid Volador/Satanico chests slap fight. Volador is trying to hit Satanico so hard, he's not only falling down when Satanico hits him, but he's falling down when he hits Satanico. It's great. Naturally, Satánico cheats, getting a facelock and dragging Volador over to the ropes for his partners to help beat up. Mascara tries to get involved and gets worked over. Beatdown time. Monito and Sombra are disposed too. A fan tries to help Volador on the outside and gets a reprimand from security. Sombra's isolated in the ring. Corner charges for him. Or corner charge, because he rolls out after one back elbow. Volador is held by the juniors, but spits at Satanico. Satanico punches him till he drops for doing that. Mascara's worked over, and but Sombra backdrops him out of the ring on a corner charge and posts Nosferatu when he tries to charge. Euforia's kicked away, and Volador jumps in with a springboard twisting headscissors for them. Mascara planchas Nosferatu on the outside while Sombra takes care of Euforia in a method we don't actually see. That turned quick. Satanico hides in the ropes from Volador and is not actually beat, so I guess Nosferatu is counted out here. They do catch up with Euforia's finisher in replay.

Q: [Volador Jr.] Que Caballeras Ha Ganado?
A: Ebola and Antrax (w/Mistico)

2: Satanico and Volador exchange chest slaps. Satanico works over Volador with chops. Volador tries to fight back, but it's not happening. Especially when Satanico goes to punches. Satanico invites Volador to take it outside, and it's a bit more even, though Volador is still easily taking the worst of it. The referee has to bail Volador out. Satanico takes it back inside., and Volador ducks a punch, sets up for something, waits for Satanico to get in position, waits, and Satanico throws himself into a tilt-a-whirl slam. What was that? A set up for Monito's splash, I guess. Monito swats Satanico on the back of the head as he gets away. Tag to Sombra, in to face Nosferatu. Sombra off the ropes, over, and jumping with a back elbow. Replay of the Monito plancha and slap. Back live, Sombra has a weird entry to a headscissors that sends Nosferatu out. Euforia stops Sombra momentarily, but Sombra get an armbar, walks the ropes, and sends Euforia out with a springboard headscissors. Sombra teases a dive, poses, and gets jumped by Satanico. Satanico attempts to choke Satanico out with a chinlock, and Mascara comes into make the save. Chop exchange is even, so Satanico forces Mascara in the corner and gets in a questionably low blow with out the refs seeing. Satanico covers, one two three. Rudos rush the ring. Sombra takes a fireman's carry into a flapjack, and Nosferatu finishes him with a reverse Boston crab finish the fall. Replays. Rudos rip up Monito's shirt for good measure, slap him around and stomp him into the mat for good measure.

El Arte del Catch: quebadora double - double torture rack is always fun. Need two guys the same size, of course.

3: Rudos still in complete control. Volador gets crotched on the post. Whip, double spinebuster, double chop. Volador's mask must get untied at some point, because he falls out of the ring and the mask falls off, totally on camera. Oops. Mascara tries to negotiate himself free passage into the ring, but he's beat and grabbed quick. Satanico unties his mask as well, and pulls it halfway off.  Mascara has to hold it on as he takes a bump from a dropkick. Volador back in, but quickly subdued by going after his loose mask. Sombra tries to get up on the apron and gets knocked down. Novices hold Volador so Satanico can come off the ropes for something, but Mascara yanks him out and Sombra comes in with a springboard dropkick for Euforia. Dropkick for Nosferatu knocks all the rudos out on the entrance side. Triple dive teased - Sombra and Volador do tope con giros, while La Mascara holds up and does a pescado. Camera thinks Monito is going to dive - he doesn't, and we spend a lot of time looking at him for no particular reason. Mascara, Sombra, Nosferatu and Euforia all end up in and bumping each other out till we get Mascara with a casita on Nosferatu. Satanico breaks that up, Volador superkicks him. Sombra comes back in with springboard headscissors on Nosferatu, and Volador and Sombra climb the same corner - stereo suicide moonsault to the floor! Mascara and Satanico back in. Mascara misses a dropkick with Satanico swatting his head on the way by. This causes Mascara's mask to fly off - DQ? Not a DQ. Mascara puts his mask back on, Satanico whips him, scoop, Mascara reveres to a small package one two three! Satanico protests - he had his shoulders up! Not good enough.

Replays with insert interview from the tecnicos. Satanico throws out the mask vs hair challenge. Fight breaks out again on the outside.
