Match 1: Hooligan, Okumura (c), Skandalo vs Fabian el Gitano, Leono (c), Ogun
Arena Coliseo, 09/09/07

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: Rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:07
Approx Rating: Not horrible.
Other Match Notes: Generic music entrances, which works not so well with Fabian's stripping act. It's a bad sign when Leono is the worker of the trio. You know, Hooligan, a man is judged by the company he keeps. What a crew. Mima accompanies Okumura because she can. She's the second best worker in this match!

1: After showing the entrances, they might have cut the start of the match. Leono sends Okumura out with a jumping snap mare. Skandalo in, lockup, full nelson by the bigger man, Leono reveres to one of his own, Skandalo reverses to a waistlock and takedown, Leono escapes, gets an armbar, but gets armdrags. Skandalo dropkicks him out. Fabian in for his side. Lockup, break. Lockup, Fabian with an armbar. Armdrags, armdrags, Zero leg trip exchange, Fabian off the ropes, dropkick. Skandalo probably shouldn't have been standing in place waiting to be kicked out of the ring, but so it goes. Hooligan in for his team, trying to get the crowd into it. Lockup, break, lockup, break, Hooligan off the ropes, quick stop, snap mare, chinlock. Fabian armbars out, Hooligan armdrags him. Fabian is ANGRY. Shoulderblock, off the ropes, Hooligan goes for the hiptoss, Fabian tries to put an abdominal stretch on, Hooligan escapes to an inside cradle into an armdrags. That was awkward. Fabian slides out, Ogun in. Let's look at the crowd instead. Probably the way to go. There's a chop fest in the ring, Ogun does the most staged looking duck of a clothesline and sends Hooligan out with a springboard armdrag. Other rudos in and booting Ogun out, then evading dropkicks by Leono and Fabian. Tecnicos whip towards each other, but they turn it around and the rudos boink. Leono tries to boost Fabian up for a dropkick, but Okumura moves and Skandalo catches and powerbombs Mr. Gitano. That's a pin, and Okumura takes care of Leono for the other. Hooligan keeps Ogun out with a sharp dropkick.

2: Rudo beatdown. Fabian gets hung in the ropes for a missile dropkick to his side, which seems to be not work the effort of hanging him in the first place. He's falling from a shorter distance, oh no! Leono gets chopped a lot, and Okumura missile dropkick. Ogun is so short. Corner charges for him, with Hooligan hitting a low blow dropkick last. Fabian gets in some shots on Okumura while the refs are discussing that last move with Hooligan. We don't have a good shot to see exactly where Hooligan kicked him. Better yet, we miss the comeback start while watching the replay. Fabian ducked a double clothesline or something, surely. Leono's giving Okumura backbreaker as we return. Fabian flips to the apron for a dive, and does an Asai Moonsault - he gets maybe five inches of distance on it, good thing Hooligan was paying attention and moved to catch him.  In the ring, Leono slams Skandalo and Ogun adds a top rope splash for that pin. Leono hits his flapjack, elbow drop, springboard elbow drop combo on Okumura, and almost forgets to pin him.

El Arte del Catch: Double Cuatro a Brazos - the female trainee takes the move. This is a two man wristlock, where the victim is bent backwards.

Vignette: Wagner hypes up the cage match.

3: Skandalo batters Fabian with chops to start the fall. Corner whip, Fabian runs up the ropes, sets himself, and comes down with an armdrags. Monkey flip. Skandalo ends up out of the ring on a shoulderblock. Okumura in, sunset flip on Fabian but he won't go down. In fact, he'll pole dance instead. Thankfully, Hooligan clotheslines him directly in the face. (And then he dances.) Stomp. Whip, double back elbow is too high, and Fabian hits the double reverse tope. Fabian gets in position, hiptoss for Hooligan, Fabian covers, Okumura gets his foot up to stomp, Fabian moves, Okumura holds up on the stomp, Fabian forces his boot down anyway. That's new levels of goofy. Hooligan argues with Okumura, who's then dropkicked out by Fabian. Okumura ducks down to prevent any dive. Tag to Ogun. Hooligan starts with him, and seems to make fun of his body suit. Off the ropes, back elbow. Chop. Skandalo grabs Ogun, and Hooligan hits his partner by accident. Ogun does the "backdrop over the ropes, use other opponent's back and the ropes to swing back in" bit, but not so well. Headscissors sends Hooligan out, and he walks up the aisle to prevent being dived on. Leono left, and I'm so happy to have only one to go. Off the ropes, over, under, backdrop but Leono lands on his feet, headscissors for Skandalo. Back elbow by Hooligan knocks down Leono. Fabian comes in to complain, but about what? Chop. Corner whip, Leono springboards up, sets himself, and gets a headscissors. Superkick sends Hooligan out. Okumura misses a clothesline, Leono pulls him down by the hair. Okumura's clothesline blocked, he cover sup his head, and Leono starts giving him hamstring kicks. Okumura charges again, and Leono gives him a backbreaker. Okumura rolls out and flops to the floor, and maybe we can get to the finish now. Hooligan and Ogun have a pose off, before Hooligan gets annoyed and just starts chest slapping the man. Hooligan sells Ogun's chops big. Corner whip, running corner clothesline. Abdominal stretch, but Okumura breaks that up. Fabian in for his side, and doing a wacky strut. shoves, and chops back and forth. Fabian misses a clothesline, Okumura clothesline him out, and flawless with a an apron tope con giro. The other four all in, whips are misaligned or mistimed, but eventually we get the rudos hitting their finishes for the win.

Replays. Leono has to be helped to his feet.

El Diseno de: Astro Rey.

Match 2: Averno (c),  Emilio Charles Jr., Mephisto vs Felino, Mascara Purpura, Maximo (c)
Arena Coliseo, 09/09/07

  1. rudos
  2. rudos

Winner: Rudos (2-0)
Match Time: 6:21
Approx Rating: Just build.
Other Match Notes: Entrances. Maximo bumps the valets on the way to the ring, who shove him back. Mascara Purpura's promo goes about five seconds, just long enough to say mask and hair. Emilio gets 20 times the time to say Purpura ain't getting none of his hair.

1: Rudos rush the tecnicos and brawl to start it. Mascara Purpura get deposited face first in a chair. Maximo's brought in, and the rudos work over his back, then choke him with his own boa. They tie Maximo in the ropes by his boa, ram Felino into his midsection, and drop toe hold Felino a little bit lower. It takes some effort to get Maximo free, they must've got that knot good. Emilio works on Maximo while his partners give Purpura a double boot. Mephisto gives Purpura the ski high flapjack, and Averno follows with a dropkick. Emilio gets to ripping at his mask soon after. Averno and Mephisto destroy the other two, which is more entertaining. Purpura takes Emilio down for a second, but the others put a quick stop to that. Emilio gives him the knee lift low blow, and a half crab to finish him. Felino takes an abdominal stretch from Averno to end the fall.

Q: [Felino] Cuales son las mascaras mas importantes que ha ganado?

Vignette: Atlantis talks about Villano V and the cage match

A: Ciclon Ramirez and El Justiciero

2: Emilio is pummeling Mascara Purpura on the mat to start the fall. Head into the buckle. Rudos completely in control with brawling. Felino gets kicked questionably low on the outside. Emilio rips at Mascara Purpura more. Purpura side steps a corner charge by Emilio to start the comeback. Headscissors for Averno, avoiding a Mephisto senton, and backbreaker for Emilio. The other two help out, which helps because Purpura ends out. Mephisto gets sent out by a Maximo armdrags, and Maximo follows with a tope. Emilio takes the knee bump to the floor, and Averno follows with his nice tope con giro, though he comes up holding his knee. Purpura off the ropes, Emilio tells him top stop - and he fakes a low blow. I can't believe it, but he's getting away with it again. Emilio crows about outsmarting the refs when their backs are turned.

Two straight two fall wins for ol' Emilio, what are the odds of that. Replays, and we've got time to kill, so how about

El Arte de Catch: Suplex con toque de espaladas - armdrag into a grounded crucifix, which is not what I'm using to thinking as a suplex

Vignette: Blue Panther talks about the cage match

Mascara Purpura challenges Emilio, but the announcers talk over him. Emilio promises to take Purpura's mask. Purpura is still not a good promo. It didn't happen in one week, I'm shocked.
