Sombra did not get along with his partners in prematch interviews and during portions of the match, continuing his behavior from Friday. Escorpion offered Sombra a handshake early, then took the match (1/3) with a foul on Sombra. Rey Escorpion said he had to evil things to get Sombra to fully commit to being a rudo. Sombra told the crowd off in very Rush fashion and the rudos attacked him again. Tecnicos said nothing and did not make the save.

Bobby Zavala got a Revolucinarios sombrero to go with his Rey Escorpion t-shirt. Team Zavala took falls 1/3 to win the tournament. Small trophies were handed out.

Seconds were the same partners from Dos Leyendas, Okumura & Stuka. Japanese jumped Cometa, and Namajague took fall 1 with a powerbomb. Cometa came back with a stage moonsault and an armbar to take fall 2. After a long third fall, Cometa landed the 450 splash to take Namajague's hair. Namajague did not fight the decision, and had his hair cut off.
5) Averno b Místico [MEX WELTER]
Moved to the semimain. Finals of a cibernetico last week to determine a new champion. Seconds were Sombra & Mephisto. Mistico got a good early start, but was put down by a Devil's Wings in the first. Mistico came back with an armabr (La Mistica II) in the second. Third fall was very long, but ended in what was expected - a La Mistico. However, Tirantes was distracted, and the rudos conspired to foul Mistico. Averno covered him and won the championship. 71st champion. Averno is the 71st known champion.
6) Terrible, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr. DQ La Sombra, Máscara Dorada, Rush *
Moved to main event and wrapped up quick because the other matches went long. Rudos took 1/3, Rush fouling Terrible in the third.

Polvora picked up 20 points for the win and 20 points from the judges. Dragon Lee earned 18 points from the judges.

Rudos took 1/3. Shocker had Negro in the reinera, but Niebla fouled Atlantis and pinned him for the win. Negro & Felino were not getting along with Niebla & Zacarias post match. CMLL does not play that part up, so it may have been just usual goofiness.
7) Marco Corleone, Máximo, Rush © b Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Tiger [CMLL TRIOS] * *
Marco Corleone, Rush, and Maximo were the trios champs. TRT won fall won, tecnicos won fall 2. In the third, Maximo pinned Bucanero, Tiger beat Maximo, and Rush & Marco beat Terrible and Tiger to keep the titles. In backstage interviews, Rush & Maximo made hair match challenges to Terrible & Bucanero. Marco noted this team has only lost once as a trio since forming.

Marcela got hurt early on – Rosa moved out of the way of a dive and Marcela hit the stage – and SuperLuchas says she spent most of the match crying. Rosa Negra suffered what is believed to be a major elbow injury in the finishing sequence, and she was put on a stretcher after returning to the locker room, and taken to the hospital. Rosa Negra is Jessica Dayna Hernandez, from Mexico City, 17 years a professional wrestler (and no age given.)

Dos turned on his partners, of course, and rudos took in straight falls. They seemed to reunite Dos and Lizmark.

Negro took the first with a castia, Mistico did one of his own for the second. In the third, Negro Casas pinned Mistico when Mistico’s second (La Mascara) accidentally distracted the ref, and Negro took Mistico’s mask. The crowd booed Mistico. Stop me if any of this sounds familiar. In the usual mask vs hair mic work after the match, Mistico talked about liking boos, which is a sure way to get the crowd to cheer him.
