Match 1: Enrique Vera Jr. & Hombre Bala Jr. vs Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II
Arena Coliseo, 04/24/2011

  1. rudos

  2. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-0)
Match Time: 10:22
Rating: told story well
Notes: Referee is Pompin. Announcers talk about the cibernético from last week, but could've used some footage. They had the time.

1: Vera and Rayo II battle evenly. Crowd seems more behind Rayo I when he faces Bala. Bala and Uno don’t get anywhere. Vera gets support coming in and goes on a run, headscissors Dos and springboard dragging him out. Técnico chases the rudo outside and gets slapped, but Rayo swings, misses, and slaps the post. Quebradora con giro on the outside, always painful. Bala and Uno avoid each other for a bit, Bala lands an overhead headscissors and dropkicks Uno into his own corner. Corner whip, Rayo kips up and out, Bala delayed runs out, Uno tosses him up, Dos missile dropkick doesn't get quite there, but it looks good enough. One pin thee, Uno powerbombs Vera for the other. Crowd is mixed.

In the usual before the commercial break interview, Dragon Rojo explains that both he and Cavernario Galindo have appeared in movies, so he's modeled himself like the legendary rudo, down to the finishing hold.

2: Uno suckers Bala into an attack from behind to start the beatdown. Double flapjack for Bala. Vera is slingshot into a dropkick, which gets a nice reaction from the crowd. Bala is hung in the corner for sliding dropkicks. Vera swings at both gets caught, but leads the Rayos into accidentally kicking each other. Comeback is on already. Both Rayos send out the camera side right, but the técnicos are satisfying waiting for them to circle around to their corner isntead of diving. Vera and Dos in, Dos rolls thru a sunset flip to dropkick Vera in the head, and Uno immediately comes off the top with a splash. One two three!

Bala in, mugged by both guys. II tosses him into a powerbomb for 1, but Bala kicks out. Rayos are surprised. Try again, but this time Bala 'ranas Uno while II goes up to celebrate. Forced 'rana, but it still gets three. Rayo II can't believe it.

Bala armdrags and dropkicks Rayo II out. Bullet tope! Replay. Enrique Vera is up on the apron protesting as they come back from the replay, while the match is continuing. We missed it, but the Rayos made a switch, and Rayo I immediately submits Bala.

Rayos celebrate while Vera and Bala protest.

From Ras de Lona: Dos Leyendas, Felino losing his mask. It's a literally called a triangle match by JCR, though Miguel (slips?) and calls it a fourway. Actually, either of those would have made more sense.

Back to the ring, where the Rayos are still celebrating. Vera and Bala talk on the microphone to protest. The crowd has been way behind the Rayos after the win. Bala demands a rematch next week. Rayos start a rudos chant. Replays do finally show the switch.

Match 2: Black Warrior ©, Metro, Palacio Negro vs Felino, Mr. Niebla ©, Rey Bucanero
Arena Coliseo, 04/24/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:58
Rating: comedy
Notes: Pompin is referee.

1: Rudos must've jumped the técnicos. Bucanero, who can't decide which teams he's on, is actually wearing his Guerrero pants here. Palacio Negro kips out from a charge, but still gets hammered with a clothesline. Bucanero drops with his top rope twisting senton. Warrior gets the triple backbreaker, and then a triple submission of an inverted figure four. Bucanero beats up Monito, to set him up for the Zacarias 619. Felino armpits Monito too!

2: Ring girl walks around Peste Negra's carcass to make sure she gets to the ring. Palacio comes back to life enough to be slapped around a bunch, and gets spit rubbed into his mask. Warrior sidesteps a charges on the comeback, and the other guys are way late following him up. Palacio boost dropkick Rey and Felino, and he and Metro land big topes on those two. Niebla and Warrior, Niebla kicks down Warrior, Warrior trios him into the ropes, Niebla not sure if he should stay there, 619, drop toe hold by Warrior, casita, one two three.

Announcers discuss Blue Panther vs Villano V. You can actually see Místico on this one, if you look carefully.

Announcers discuss Ultimo Guerrero vs Villano V. This is what happens when they run short on a week where Ras de Lona doesn't have anything.

3: Niebla falls of the apron on his own. Felino and Palacio Negro will start, but Felino has to rub his hand under his armpit first. Felino strikes down Palacio and gives Niebla a kiss. Off the ropes avoidance, Palacio negro loses his balance going for his headstand headscissors, and rolls thru instead of trying it. Off the ropes, back with a normal headscissors. Palacio poses, runs, rolls backflips over the ropes to floor, misses a clothesline there, Felino miss a kick, and Zacarias eats it. Poor Zach. Bucanero runs into quebradora con giro after quebradora con giro from Metro. Zacarias runs in, Metro gives him one too. Niebla runs in, but he manages to get in a clothesline. Fuego dance! Niebla slaps Metro all around the corner, does his own dance, and catches the spit. Surprise kiss for Bucanero too. Metro superkicks the spit right out of Niebla. High tech spit replay. Warrior and Zach in next. Zach's kicks have no power. Monito sneaks behind the parrot and pats him on the win. Zacarias brushes him off for a moment, but then turns around, direct into a right hand of stone. Monito brawls with him out of the ring and plancha him from off the apron. Bucanero, watching all of this, gets blown up by Warrior's tope. Niebla whips Palacio across ring, where he goes for a middle rope 'rana on Felino. No go – superbomb by Felino. Metro clotheslines Niebla, Niebla just dances, Metro runs, Niebla takes him down and ties him up. That's a win.
