Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:31
Rating: not horrible!
Notes: La Comadante is a renamed La Nazi. Before the first fall, Miguel talks about Lluvia background.

1: Star Fire and Yeska to start. Crowd is cold. Lockup, break. Lockup, Yeska toss Star Fire. By the it the graphics are done, Star Fire is covering the ruda with a back bridge, but only gets two. Lockup, Star Fire shoves Yeska down and uses a hairpull STF. Yeska gets free, Star Fire kips up to her feet, and armdrags Yeska away. Star Fire celebrates, eats a back elbow. Whip, Yeska lame clothesline misses, Star Fire turns around and leisurely tries her own clothesline, Yeska trips her up and leans on her, Star Fire pushes her off with her feet, and jumps to the middle rope and off with a middle rope armdrag. This is cheering spot, but there's not much cheering. Amapola and Lluvia in. Lockup, break. Lockup, Amapola waistlock, Lluvia hammerlock, Amapola headlock, Lluvia turns free, Amapola tries a shoulderblock, but Lluvia manages to pull her down by her hair. Lluvia off the ropes, flipped to the apron, Amapola's punch is blocked, Lluvia flips in and armdrags Amapola. Lluvia's clothesline is ducked, and Amapola throws her down by her hair. Head into the buckle. Corner whip, Amapola charges, in, Lluvia's already slipped to the apron, then uses the top ropes to come in with a headscissors. Amapola misses a clothesline, Lluvia waits in the corner, Amapola charges in and spears the post. Lluvia – claps, and leaves. No dive fake, how odd. Marcela and Comadante in. Chest slap fight, Marcela holding her own against the larger woman – until Comadante just knocks her down. Marcela thrown by the hair. Whip, corner smash by Comadante. Whip, and Marcela gets out of the way in time. Monkey flip, no, Comadante puts Marcela on the top rope and slaps her once more, Marcela kicks blocks the slap, then gets Comadante with a middle rope headscissors. Off the ropes, waved by and back with a headscissors to send Comadante to the ropes. Comadante gets up, misses a clothesline, misses a back elbow, and eats a dropkick. Dropkick is questionably low, but not enough to get Comadante down. Marcela hops on to her shoulders – headscissors cradle, one two three. Amapola tries to break it up, and Lluvia is slow climbing up to come off with a top rope armdrag. Lluvia misses a lame clothesline, and Star Fire gets her with a plancha. The women (and the guys, often) don't seem to climbing to the top rope until the point where the ruda is already in position for them to do take the moves – it's a beat or two late every time. Lluvia wraps up Amapola with a forward sweep cradle, which is enough for the fall. Star Fire gives Yeska a schoolboy trip to set up a half crab/armbar thing. That's a low-fi finish

Julio Cesar talks about Star Fire. Odd that they put the announcer's name on the screen, but never the participant.

Miguel teases for something after the break.

Carolina presents Segunda Caida

Miguel tells us about all the times Satánico has won the Mexican National Trios titles. There's no effort to make this relate to anything at all.

Lluvia says hi

2: Match is going before they get around to showing it, but that's probably okay with Yeska and Star Fire in. No one's been bad, but they've been slower. Star Fire gets Yeska with a springboard dropkick before tagging out, quicker than Yeska was expecting. Marcela and Amapola in, and I think this might get slightly better. Amapola insists on a handshake, and gets a hand slap instead. Comadante teases sneaking in and attacking Marcela from behind, but either gets distracted or caught bu crowd. Amapola shoulders Marcela in the midsection - and Comadante is in anyway, so never mind. Double boot for Marcela, Lluvia clotheslined as he comes in. Star fire Watches on the apron and Lluvia take a double clothesline. Boot for Star Fire, whip, right into a shove from La Comadante.

Segunda Caida with Carolina

Yeska holds Star Fire for big chest slap by Comadante. Marcela brought back in, Comadante grabs her in a goozle – chokeslam. Pin? Pin? No, Comadante just stomps her out. Double choke powerbomb by Amapola on Lluvia, and the rudas add a triple dropkick to the head. Yeska is a beat behind, of course. Amapola lifts Star Fire on her shoulder, drops her forward, and Comadante adds the middle rope splash. One two three. That's it for her. Amapola pulls Marcela in a sideways campana, and that's the fall.

Tercera Caida with Anabel

Break

Julio Cesar teases something to come.

3: Rudas still in control. Lluvia is whipped around, and given a fallaway slam. Yeska adds a middle rope back senton, which is actually nice in it's simplicity. Star Fire in, double spinebuster for her, giant swing by La Comadante! Four spins, a fine effort. Marcela in, tripped up into the ropes, and Amapola gets in her running sit. Amapola pulls Lluvia in as the other two work over Marcela. Técnicas held in opposite corners, then Marcela is whipped over to Lluvia. Yeska adds a running back elbow, and Star Fire is brought into be whipped into the two técnicas. Yeska is whipped in by the rudas again, but Marcela moves, and the técnicas hold Yeska in the corner between them. Comadante charges in, the técnicas scatter, and poor Yeska gets killed. Comadante is very focused, Marcela hooks both Comadante's arms from behind, Comadante leans forward to escape, and Marcela uses the lift to get Amapola with a headscissors – I think, they missed it. Star Fire goes on the outside of the middle rope, and crushes Yeska with a plancha. Comadante accidentally punches Amapola while trying for Lluvia. Amapola shoves Comadante, who begs off – inside cradle by the técnicas one two NO. Técnicas off the ropes and charging, but caught by the rudas – Devil's Wings on Marcela, Rosa on Lluvia. That's the fall.

Backstage, they interview with La Comadante and Amapola after their win – I'm confused, this seems actually relevant. Amapola will hold her own microphone, thank you very much. Amapola tells Lluvia to get better, but they're still the best team. Then both the rudas make fun of Juan Carlos, who still tries to mug in the background.

Arena Mexico, 12/20/2009

  2. rudos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: tecnicos
Match Time: 6:49

Notes:

1: Okumura and Sagrado start, whenever Okumura wants to actually go. Lockup, break. lockup, Okumura hammerlock, Sagrado headlock, Okumura front facelock, Sagrado trips up Okumura, Okumura armdrag from the mat, Sagrado flips to his feet, and no one cares. Poor Sagrado. Takedown, toe hold by Sagrado. Sagrado to an armbar, tightens it up to a fujiwara. Okumura rolls forward, puts on a front facelock, and Sagrado trips him up, covers, and then poses with his fists. How odd. Lockup, takedown and hiptoss by Okumura, but Sagrado holds on and gets one of his own. Zero leg trips, Sagrado posing. Tags. Valiente and Rey Bucanero in. Rey circles, then spins around and knocks Toscano off the apron with a chest slap. Serves Toscano right for standing on the middle rope like that. Valiente is fired up and wants to fight now, so Rey tags out to Sangre Azteca. Sangre Azteca can't stop bouncing. Oh, look, Monito is with the técnicos. Can't see that being important later. Valiente ends up armdragging Sangre down, then flipping to his feet, only for Sangre to to trip him up and try for a half crab. Valiente breaks free, but Sangre trips him up again. This time, Valiente tosses Sangre away with a headscissors. Sangre stops to fix the hair underneath his mask. Valiente works over Sangre with a wristlock, then anther armdrag. Hope,s pin pose. Sangre throws a clothesline, misses, and gets armdrag on the next pass,. Zero leg trips here too. Valiente's ready for more, Sangre decides he could use a break. Toscano and Bucanero in. Both standing for the crowd. Toscano off the ropes, over, Bucanero's clothesline misses, Bucanero goes under a drop down, Toscano puts up a stop sign so he can take off his shorts. Rey waits. Toscano off the ropes, waved by, and gets Rey with a headscissors. Rey goes out, Toscano start running for a dive, but Monito gives him the stop sign from the apron – so he dive off the apron onto and splash Bucanero instead. Rey chases Monito around the ring, and Toscano nails him with a tope as he gets around the other side. Sangre and Valiente in, Valiente armdrag in his seated armbar, and that's the end of Sangre. Sagrado gets Okumura with a huracanrana, one two three.

Segunda caida ring girl. Break.

Okay, even I'm bored with keep tracking of these. Especially since Juan Carlos is here finishing a trivia question, and I don't even remember the teaser.

2: There's a ring girl, but there's no whistle audible as Sagrado and Okumura start going. Okumura blocks a hiptoss and punches Sagrado in the face. Always an effective counter. Chop. Corner whip, Valiente walks up the ropes and comes down with a plancha. Sagrado blocks a clothesline, and spins Okumura into a DDT. Sagrado's looking good. Sangre in, but hesitating when it turns out Sagrado is ready for him. Sangre shoulderblock, but Sagrado pulls him down by his hair. Backbreaker/gutbuster combo on him. Bucanero in, but putting up the stop sign. He wants – Monito? Shot to Monito on the apron. Sagrado shoves Bucanero, but tags in Valiente instead of actually fighting. Valiente's dropkick misses, and Bucanero chops him. Corner whip, reversed, Valiente charges in, no one's home. Okumura and Sangre try to grab Valiente, but he's to quick, and Rey hits both of his partners multiple times. Segunda caida ring girl obscures Sangre and Okumura coming into to have a word with Bucanero about his lousy aim. Valiente gets in his Road Runner hop, flips off the top rope, poses – and gets dropkicked by everyone. That was a bad plan! Sagrado and Toscano get knocked off the apron. Nothing brings rudos back together like beating someone up. Valiente held on the mat, and Sangre adds his low blow dropkick. Okumura covers, one two three. Sangre kicks Sagrado in the face, and Okumura grabs him – layout reverse DDT. Okumura is down but no one's covering. Toscano charges in, and Rey grabs him for his triple backbreaker into an elbow driver. That'll do for the fall.

Rudos continue to beat up on the tecnicos on the outside between falls. Bucanero gets Monito, who somehow got to the crowd to hide, and carries Monito around the outside. Sagrado comes over to confront Rey, so Bucanero tosses Monito at him. It' a short toss, but Sagrado makes the catch.

Sangre Azteca hypes up the third fall. Break.

Miguel talks about Sagrado

3: Rudos still in charge. Sagrado sat in the corner, and Sangre gets in a questionably low dropkick there too. Valiente in, and mauling Bucanero, but the other rudos pull Valiente off. Corner whip, Bucanero whipped in, Valiente moves out of the way and holds him in the corner. Sangre and Okumura charge in, Valiente kicks them away, then flips over their backs. Double clothesline has timing issues, but Valiente ducks under and gets Bucanero with a headscissors. Sagrado springboard dropkicks Okumura, then Toscano get Sangre a couple seconds later. Toscano get Okumura with a spinning backbreaker, and Sagrado sends him out with a superkick. Valiente gets boosted to the top rope by Sagrado, and comes off with a big moonsault onto Sangre. Sagrado goes out of the ring the other side, tope onto Okumura. Toscano in, and so is Bucanero . And so is Monito, who Bucanero walks over and kicks in the head! Toscano over, off the ropes, bodyscissors cradle, Bucanero reverses it to go on top, Monito walks over and hits Bucanero in the head, Toscano reverses the cradle and goes on top, Valiente helps him pin, one two three. Monito go involved in front of both referees, and somehow they let it go. That's just so wrong.

Replays of the third fall and the match. That's it.
