This Week: Mesias vs Wagner, the rematch. (non-title) Also, Latin Lover, Marco Corleone, La Parka vs Electroshock, Chessman, Oriental, Jack vs Teddy, and much more.

Match 1: Aerostar, Fabi Apache, Mari Apache vs Billy Boy, Cinthia Moreno, Sexy Star
Plaza de Toros la Concordia de Orizaba, 06/20/2009

Winner: tecnicos
Match Time: 13:32 (5:10+8:22)
Rating: OK, but there's better from this group. Rudos weren't as coehesive as usual
Notes: No entrances. Billy is back, and still wearing his street clothes non-gear. They play the start of the match audio over a scene that doesn't actually look like the start of the match, but we'll roll with it. Pepe Casas is ref.

Billy is quickly attacking Fabi without regard, but Fabi turns it around with some armdrags, and kicks him in the backside to send him out. Sexi Star comes in, but she's got to deal with Aerostar. Differing styles here. They go forehead to forehead. Sexi shoves Aero, clothesline misses, Aero teases a punch, Sexi covers up, and Aero kicks her in the backslide. Whip, reversed, Aero slides under the leapforgs, Sexi off the ropes, crowd shot, that couldn't have gone well. Aero gives Sexi a spinning backbreaker after they go back, so perhaps the first one didn't go well. Billy sneaks in a kick while Aero is posing. Whip, Aero off the ropes, press and a Billy running kick to the ribs. Sexi tries to start a Billy chant, no luck. Aero gets his foot caught in the ropes on a flip reversal spot, and then there's a clip, but they end up with springboard silly and Billy being slide chest first to the floor. Aero spins thru the ropes but does not find some crazy way to dive to the floor on him, somewhat surprisingly. Cinthia and Mari are in this match, too. Cintha's outfit is quite starkly. Mari takes her down, off the ropes, over, headlock shot off, Mari back, Cinthia miss a clothesline and Mari pulls her down by her hair. Billy manages to stop Mari with kicks to the back of her left leg. Look at them call spots. Billy misses a clothesline, Mari connects on her spin kick. Sexi comes in and tries kicking and forearming Mari, but none of it works. Mari takes her head off with a clothesline. Aerostar in, and all three rudos work together on him. Kids are watching the match from the light pole, climbing up to get a better view. In the US, they'd be yelled at to get down. Here, they zoom in on them. Beatdown going on in the ring, though it's not too complicated with this batch. Mari manages to get a hold of Sexi and throttle for a while, but Billy bails out her girlfriend. Cinthia gets Aerostar in an inverted campana in the middle of this, randomly. Break.

Lots of kicking and stretching around the ropes and such. Really noticeable clip, but apparently not past the beatdown. Billy puts Fabi in the Tree of Woe, ruda women try for sliding dropkicks, Fabi pulls up out f reach, and Aerostar dropkicks the women from behind. Tecnicos brawling their way for some revenge. Crowd most wants to see Sexi star get bat, but Aerostar holds her away form the action while the Apaches give Cinthia a double DDT. Aerostar trades off so he can land a springboard splash on Cinthia as well. Apaches take turns kicking Sexi in the head. Tecnicos go to grab Billy, and he runs all the way to the entrance, for lots of boos. Match halts for a bit, then jumps into one one ones, though I think it's safe to ignore them until Billy gets back in. Fabi gets a near fall on a sunset flip, then pulls Cinthia no a fujiwara armbar. Billy comes in here, grabbing a lleg for a standing knee bar. Aerostar gets him in a satellite armbar, and Sexi just beaks up the pin rather than trying her own. Mari flattens her with a chest slap, Billy kicks Mari out, and the ring quickly clears out except of the men. Billy takes off his chest, you know he's serious now. Headscissors sends him out two seconds later. Aerostar springboard reverse tope – overshoots Billy and Aero is very luckily to land shoulder first instead of head first. Billy slowed him down taking some of the brunt, but Aero that ending badly is just inevitable. Back in the ring, Sexi Star manges to get Mari with a headscissors, and follow sher out for her silla, only Mari catches her and drops her in the front row. Back inside, Cinthia has Fabi in an inside cradle somehow and is holding in like she might actually get the win, but Fabi kicks out at two. Cinthia picks up Fabi, but Fabi frees herself, double underhook faceslam. One two NO! Fabi can't believe it, and neither can. Fabi misses a clothesline, Cinthia misses a clothesline, Cinthia dropkicks Fabi out. Cinthia drops Fabi with a apron tope con giro. Billy and Mari in. Mari miss a punch, Billy kicks her in the midsection, and grabs her. Thumb across the throat. Powerbomb? Yes. One two NO, Billy gives up the pin. Cinthia's waiting on the top rope for something. Billy whips Mari towards that corner, Mari reverses it, and Cinthia missile dropkicks him. Mari clotheslines Cinthia, grabs Billy, and spikes him with a brainbuster. Brutal. One two three.

Sexi mourns the loss, when she really should be checking if Billy is still alive. Oh, maybe I'm giving bad advice - she does that, and the tecnicos just stomp the check out of her and Billy. Maybe not so much that.

Video Package: Wagner vs Mesias, and Mesias wanting a rematch. He'll get one, non-title. Which is not quite it. This is a long long video package.

In-Ring Promo: Dr. Wagner, providing the counter point and doing Mesias' catch phrases for him. The UWA belt is noticeable absent. He's barely started celebrating when Mesias comes out to point. Mesias doesn't make it halfway down the aisle before he leaves, and the crowd sure still seems to be on Wagner's side.

Noti AAA

Vignette: Hermandad happen upon on Decnnis, Guapito and Billy having a conversation. One that's just ending, judging from Billy thanking Guapito thanking for something and checking out. Nicho & Lider are too busy being jerks to really care. They're from an extreme world, and they don't want Guapito and Decnnis' Metrosexual goofiness to hold them back in the next match. Nicho slapping Guapito intihe match is probably not going to help. Lider demands no dancing, only fighting. Decnnis explains he's gotta to be Decnnis, but everyone agrees to hold up their end of the deal.

Match 2: Crazy Boy, Extreme Tiger, Ultimo Gladiador vs Decnnis, Joe Lider, Nicho el Millionario
Plaza de Toros la Concordia de Orizaba, 06/20/2009

Winner: tecnicos
Match Time: 8:49 (3:30+5:19)
Rating: typical
Notes: 24 minutes without a match, and they didn't even do entrances for this one. Captains are not announced. Piero is ref.

For the tag champs complaining early on, it's Guapito who distracts the tecnicos right of the bat, allowing the rudos to go in too their run of moves. Decnnis has let the dye come out of his hair, or just died it back black. Break with the rudos till in control.

Decnnis gets in what he can as the HX do their usual melody of wacky double teams. Tiger randomly pulls out a bodyscissors bulldog to get control back. Crowd seems a lot quieter than the opener. Mexican Powers get to their own tag team moves, and UG does his piledriver for a near fall. After dives take everyone else out, Decnnis gets a run on Extreme Tiger. Tiger finally wins by escaping a back suplex, hamstring kicks Decnnis into the ropes, and dropping him with a guillotine double stomp for the win.

Vignette: Aerostar tries again with Fabi. Fabi starts to turn him down again, Aero just wants one shot. Fabi agrees to consider it, and gets a kiss on the cheek.

Match 3: Jack Evans vs Teddy Hart
Plaza de Toros la Concordia de Orizaba, 06/20/2009

Winner: Teddy Hart
Match Time: 18:23 (9:04+5:50+3:29)
Rating: wasted time
Notes: Hijo de Tirantes is ref, bad sign for Jack. No entrances. Jack does a flipping run to his name, which cues a shoving match between the two.

Circle, Jack tries some kicks without really getting anywhere at first, but a partially blocked kick (I guess) knocks down Teddy down. Jack tries to follow with an ax kick, but Teddy grabs the leg. Jack backs away and adds more flashy kicks. I don't know why we're getting a kick boxing opening, but apparently AAA gets buried with it, because they clip ahead to mid Jack Evans headscissors. Jumping spin kicks ends Teddy to the corner, running big boot keeps him there. Boot choke, Hijo de Tirantes starts to pull Jack off, and Teddy scissors the leg to take him down into a knee bar. Doing an MMA-ifics match is a different choice. Teddy's legs to to elbow drop the leg, and then stops to are at the part of the crowd chanting against him. Elbow to the back of Jack's head. Kick to the chest. Kicks to the chest. Punches. Teddy in no hurry – he stops to yell at the crowd, even. Jack charge shim, only to pulled in a headlock and taken down. Jack counts with a tight headscissors. Teddy kips up free, but runs right back into a headlock. Back up their feet, Teddy elbows Jack away and gets an armdrags. Headlock takedown of his own, Jack headscissors, Teddy stays on top anyway, one two kick out, Teddy lands on his back well into the headscissors. Teddy bends up to try and kip up free, and get it on the second try. Jack tries another headlock takedown, but Jack blocks, and gets a headscissors wristlock thing. Jack squirms to the ropes, looking in trouble, and seems be on the ropes, but Hijo de Tirantes tosses his foot off. Jacks breaks loose from the hold instead, but Teddy keeps him down with a kick. Teddy picks him up for knee lifts to the head, adding a big jumping one last. Hug for Hijo de Tirantes. Teddy not paying attention, and Jack gets him with a big high kick to the head. Knee lifts, but Hijo de Tirantes breaks up with a hairpull, and Teddy armscissors Jack into a cross armbar. Jack tries to turn free, then gets his foot on the bottom ropes. I like how he keeps thinking this is the time that'll work. Jack starts to get free, so Teddy chops him with his leg, lets go, and drops a knee on the head. Jack picks up, and drives an elbow in to his chest. Teddy and Tirantes exchange high tens, then look at the crowd booing them. Jack gets up, and Teddy works him over with big kicks to the midsection. Springboard knee drop to the back. Punch to the head. Hair yank. Punch to the head. Teddy just taunting Jack now, and Jack kicking at him. Teddy stops him with an eye rake. Stomp on the arm. Spit at the crowd, that's not nice. Whip, Teddy charges in, Jack grabs the ropes and gets his feet up, kicking Teddy and flipping over the ropes. Teddy charges, but take a knee to the midsection. Jack poses for a sec on the apron, then slights in – right into Teddy's European Uppercut. Jack falls back to the apron, and Teddy catches his breath rather than follow up. Teddy does catch Jack coming thru the ropes with a knee, then steps over his head, uses the ropes to pull himself upside on the outside of the ring, and Hijo de Tirantes pulls Teddy back by the legs to spike Jack on his head inside the ring. That was an usual teeter totter spot. Cover – hey, let's show a replay instead of the cover. These guys are great. Hijo de Tirantes fast counted two but not three, by the sound of it. Teddy throws Jack out, then throws him into the crowd. Punches in the chairs. Oh, Teddy's got to climb up the light standard, that's what we're here for. Moonsault bodyblock from about 12 feet up, both going into seats and Teddy maybe taking the worse of it, by the way he grabs the back of his head as he gets up. Replay shows both guys hitting all sorts of chairs on the way to the floor. Back over the barricade to ringside. Jack actually tries to fight back, how odd. Teddy suplexes Jack onto the announce desk just as they go to break.

After the usual repeat of stuff we just saw, Hijo de Tirantes pulls Jack off the announce desk and Teddy poses. Replays of the suplex, which shook the table but didn't break it. More punches on the outside, and a modified chokeslam onto the apron. Jack rolls towards the center of the ring. This match is about 10 minutes old, and Teddy's had about 90% of it. Teddy silence the boos, or tries to, before giving Jack his release powerbomb into a cutter, one two no. Hijo de Tirantes counts fast, but never fast enough. Corner whip, Teddy charges and eats Jack's boots – just like the last whip, huh. Jack uses the corner to forward flip into a 'rana, sending Teddy out. Jack wants absolute no time running after, and dives out of the ring into a tope con giro...flying over Teddy's head and rolling hard into the barricade. Teddy puts his hands up, as if to say “You all saw it, I didn't kill him, he murdered himself.” We also did see Teddy duck out of the way on that, so I don't think his case is going to hold up in court. Hijo de Tirantes rushes out of the ring to check on, uh, Teddy. Random ring crew guy checks on Jack, and Hijo de Tirantes shoves him away, then picks up Jack. Teddy tries a forearm, and after 11:15 minutes of post-modern shoot style wrestling, crowd brawling, and wacky high tech offensive moves, Jack gets the advantage by moving out of the way of one forearm. (Crowd reacts more to that than most stuff we've seen.) Jack socks Teddy with a jumping high kick, and throws him back in. Hijo de Tirantes is actually back in before jack, who's pulling himself up on the apron and waiting. Oh, I guess he'll try it with Teddy down – springboard 450 splash splash, Teddy moves and Jack hits nothing. Oh, replay shows Hijo de Tirantes clearly moved Teddy out of the way. He celebrates Teddy drags Jack by a corner and goes up. Shooting star press, one knee pin. One two three-no. Teddy is tired from not getting beat up and all and doing all his offensive moves. Back to knee lifts. Reverse neckbreaker. Yelling at the crowd. Jack tries to start a Mexico chant, and gets stomped into the mat. Reverse neckbreaker – no, Jack carthwheels to escape (?!?!) , then kicks Teddy in the chest repeatedly. Jack heads to the ropes, but Hijo de Tirantes pulls him down by the neck. Why does Hijo de Tirantes have a Panama flag on his sleeve? Did he defect? Is this subtle taunting? Teddy gives Jack a cross arm backbreaker, then the back suplex tossed into a powerbomb. One two thre-. Teddy can't believe, but he gives him another hug. Hijo de Tirantes goes out to discuss global politics with the front row fans, then – BREAK

Teddy is down on the mat, being massaged by Hijo de Tirantes. You know, if I was Teddy, and I'd been beating on this guy for 15 minutes without someone helping me and I still couldn't win, I'd need a message too. Teddy grabs Jack by the head, says this is up and lifts him up. Jack escapes the powerbomb, and turns into into an inverted 'rana. Jack tries to start the Mexico chant by pounding on the mat again, but it doesn't quite work again. Replay shows Teddy took that quite on the head. Jack has an impossible flipping move that's incredible, and also not going to work because Hijo de Tirantes counts a slow one and a slow two before Teddy finally kicks up. Jack knocks Teddy down with a kick combo, sets him self, and lands the standing twisting moonsault. Hijo de Tirantes hurts his wrist counting,so this is not going anywhere. Jack checks on him (and pokes him in the eye?) Before slamming Teddy and going up. All the way up. 630 senton eats knees., and suddenly Hijo de Tirantes is feeling a lot better. Powerbomb backcracker, one two thre-! That was as close as it could be. Hijo de Tirantes goes outside, and collects a some paper to fan Teddy off. That's like a mini pie tray or something. Crowd gets on the rudos, who are not paying much attention to Jack. Teddy finally goes up to help him up. Knee lifts, back suplex spun into a - a Teddy 'rana. One – Hijo de Tirantes stops counting and kicks Jack over, one two three. FINALLY.

Joaquin Roldan's music plays quickly after the match, and he joins the three in the ring, Jack still arguing his case. Roldan points out Hijo de Tirantes benefactor Konnan no longer exists in AAA. Joaquin Roldan is in charge now, and this won't be tolerated any more – Hijo de Tirantes is fired. Security decides on Hijo de Tirantes to drag him to the back and out, and it takes about six guys for some reason. Teddy thinks about arguing, then thinks about how much he'd like not be dragged out by security. Jack does a dance move to celebrate. Hijo de Tirantes, without security on him, walks right back out with Tirantes, who says his son was only trying to work with the previous management and it's unfair to change the rules on him. Roldan threatens to fire him too, and Tirantes tells Roldan that messing with his family is messing with him. This goes nowhere, but it's always fun to have a 20 minutes Jack Evans vs Teddy Hart match designed to build up a Tirantes vs Joaquin Roldan feud.

Promo: Mesias! The cherry on this cake. Tonight's about the revenge, and Mesias will get his title back, because he's #1 in AAA. Wagner better be prepared.

TripleMania Recap: Tag Title match

Promo: Chessman, Electro and Oriental. Konnan's gone, but these guys are still angry with Zorro over what went down. Actually, Oriental is more interesting in being an official Legion member. Electro, having decided he's leading this group, likes Oriental's credentials and trusts him, so he's their reinforcements. After Chessman and Electroshock leave, Oriental calls some and speaks in Japanese, telling them about Electroshock declaring himself leader. You probably don't need to bow to someone over the phone.

Promo: Marco and Parka. More talking, less wrestling, which works for this match. Highlight si Marco doing Latin and Parka's entrances, then Parka doing Marco's. This is exactly what I need out of this team.

Match 4: La Parka Jr. ©, Latin Lover, Marco Corleone vs Chessman, Electro Shock ©, Oriental
Plaza de Toros la Concordia de Orizaba, 06/20/2009

Winner: Tecnicos
Match Time: 11:21 (4:04+7:17)
Rating: usual
Notes: Entrances. Oriental has his mixed tag team title belt. Electroshock has his sword. Actual captains announced!

Rudos jump the tecnicos to start, including Oriental pulling Latin Lover in a sunset flip so we can see big blur. The match continues on for many minutes, and eventually stops. You may thinking I'm not paying attention, but I'm not the one editing this show who goes to break just as the comeback is starting.

Highlight of this match is Oriental getting on Electro's shoulders, and Marco dropkicking Oriental off. After that, it's largely the tecnicos clowning the rudos for seven minutes until Latin and Marco get stereo pins. La Hermandad run out post match to stomp the guys they defeated in the title match, because – because – wait, why are they and again? (They ran out because someone forgto to rewrite this part after they changed the finish at TripleMania.) Crazy Boy, Ultimo Gladiador, Xtreme Tiger and Jack Evans runt hem off for slightly more of a reason

Next Week: Wagner, Silver vs Mesias and ?, plus Parka, Jack, Tiger vs Electro, Teddy, and ??

Match 5: El Mesías vs Dr. Wagner Jr.
Plaza de Toros la Concordia de Orizaba, 06/20/2009

Winner: No Contest? Probably should be Wagner by DQ
Match Time: 15:16 (5:56+9:20)
Rating: not in the ballpark as TripleMania
Notes: Wagner has both titles this week. Announcers are leading chants for Wagner. Piero is ref.

Clip! They needed the time for the last match. Mesias knocks Wagner over with a chop. Wagner fights back with leg kicks. Wagner taking his time. Headlock. Walked to the middle of the ring. Cranked in. Cranked in. Taking his time. Easier for me to call. Wagner backs up to the ropes, and they punch each other while still on the headlock. Wagner shot off, back, and Mesias doesn't go down to the shoulderblock. He flexes his pecs some. Wagner thinks about it, does some push ups and slaps Mesias in the face. Mesias slaps back. Wagner off the ropes, over, under, into a hiptoss. Little reaction, more boos. Mesias is clearly expecting more of that. Mesias off the ropes, spinning headscissors sends Wagner to the ropes, and the boos are actually increasing. Mesias ducks a clothesline and hooks on a goozle. Wagner goes to his knees, why Mesias waves to the crowd for – well, whatever, we still don' hear them. Mesias press Wagner over his head, but Wagner slips down, shoves Mesias into the ropes, and Mesias comes back with a spear. Boos, if anything, and really isn't not much. Wagner rolls out while Mesias relaxes, then runs for a tope. CLIP.

Mesias throws Wagner back in. Scoop, Wagner on Mesias shoulder, Mesias sets him self for a bit, running powerslam. One two no. Mesias sure thinks doing moves will make the fans love him more. Wagner waves to the crowd as he's getting stomped. Armbar - no, own into the crossface. Wagner refuses to give up. Crowd is just dead. Wagner holding out, and taking his time crawling to the ropes. Wagner is in the hold for 88 seconds before getting to the ropes, and doesn't give up. I think Mesias needs to work on the strength of his submissions. Break.

Mesias with a second rope axhandle. Punch to the face. Whip, reverse, Mesias slides under, kick is caught, Wagner look to the crowd before doing it, dragon screw leg whip. Mesias' head is lifted up, so Wagner can connected on a running dropkick. One two no. Wagner pulls Mesias towards the center of the ring, but Mesias escapes to the ropes frantically. Wagner grabs him on the third try, and makes sure everyone knows he's about to do something before he does it, though he has a bit of work setting up – campana! Dr. Wagner, being no La Mascara (and also Mesias behind huge) has trouble getting his opponent of the ground and can't get the submission here. Wagner falls backwards, letting go, but grabs Mesias by the legs before he can get to the ropes, and ties them up. It doesn't look like Mesias should be hurting, but apparently he is as he gets to the ropes. Wagner gives him space, but then kicks him out of the ring, following to kick him to the floor. A guy in the crowd hands him a chair, and Wagner pokes him with it before slamming it on the table – maybe to prove it's for real. He slams it in Mesias' knee too. Jab shot to the knee, and Mesias thrown in. Wagner flings the chair in as well. Wagner attacks the knee with the chair more. Crowd chants for one more. Modified Indian Deathlock onto the bad knee by Wagner, but Mesias is quickly in the ropes. Wagner goes back to the trusty chair. Crowd chants for one more, but Wagner' ditching the chair for now. POSE. Some mixed reaction here. Wagner goes back to bend the knee, though in a way it's supposed to bend. A standing toe hold, which allows Mesias to bounce on the other leg and enziguri Wagner. Wagner goes down, but is up before Mesias , kicking him in the shoulder (Mesias grabs his nose.) Mesias set up on the top rope, one leg on the outside. Wagner punches Mesias as he sets his other foot on the outside, then climbs up. Mesias starts to stand up as well, and Wagner headbutts him. Mesias teases falling off to the floor. Wagner hooks him grabs the trunks, but Mesias blocks the suplex and fights back with punches. Mesias puts Wagner's head on the corner, leaps over for the sunset flip, Wagner blocks it, Mesias pulls him out of the corner an drops him with a running powerbomb. Someone sure love the digital zoom. One two NO. Mesias up, forcing Wagner in the corner, and chopping him. Corner whip, Mesias charges in, Wagner boots him. Mesias charges again, Wagner gets his boot up again, and Mesias catches it this time, spinning Wagner's legs into the ropes, and throwing him down by the head. Mesias covers, but Wagner's into the ropes, and Piero doesn't even bother to count. Mesias pulls him towards the center of the ring for a powerbomb, but Wagner goes over the top for a sunset flip one two no. Mesias up and kicking, Wagner catches one, but Mesias punches him. Mesias off the ropes, but Wagner punches him. Fallaway slam, one two NO. Wagner popping up and looking at the crowd, waving at the crowd. Running tornado DDT. Wagner slow to get up. Kick to the back of Mesias' head. Wagner starts to do the thumb, but we're all distracted by “APOCALISPIS, AHORA!” Yea, it's that music and that guy – Cibernético. Even the pop for this isn't much, which makes me think this is far more a crowd micing issue. Cibernético, in street clothes, slides in the ring. Wagner backs off into a corner while Piero argues. Wagner charges at Cibernético, Cibernético ducks him, and chokeslams him. Cibernético demands the microphone. Form what we can hear, there are cheers and boos. Mesias sits in the corner, watching this. Cibernético says he's been chasing Wagner on the independents, and now he's chasing him back into AAA, and the wolf is going to get him. Cibernético helps Mesias up, and gives him a hug.
