AAA Mini Line - 10/11/08 (#854)
Recapped: 10/11/08
Previously (like, the last three months): Morenos want a shot at the tag titles, minis tournament, who wins the tag four way, the break of the Hell Brothers
Plenty of time to kill here, being the first half of their usual two weeks on one major show , so why not start out with an in-ring promo by Konnan. Let me guess, he's not happy about not being booked here. I'm right, yay. Konnan's (non-jersey!) shirt is nice. Konnan demands to be given respect. How many "Yo soy AAA" shirts did they give out to the front row. Konnan complaining that the wrestlers of today aren't like the wrestlers of when AAA started. You know, you can get the Dinamitas if you really want them, be careful what you ask for. Finally, and it's a while to get there, Roldan shows up with security (almost all wearing the You Soy AAA shirts, as are all the ringside workers. Roldan points out Konnan's not booked, so he shouldn't be here. Hasn't stopped him the last month. Apparently, if Konnan wants to talk about back in the day, Roldan's so happy to talk about back in the day - and here's a rap performance by Konnan from the mid-90s, judging from his Color Me Badd gear. And also the rapping. If I put this segment thru the google translation, this would be Vince McMahon singing Step Back at the Slammys, though this much funnier. Konnan dances, which is funny even when you don't make the obvious comparison to Konnan complains about dancers. (Great job of split screening this to get Konnan and the fans reaction while we see the video.) Konnan goes for "it was cool when I did it" and "I didn't do it in the ring." Roldan and Konan go back and forth a bit before before Konnan tries to charge Roldan and his held back by security. They drag him right out. And thus ends this segment.
Recap: Apaches/Morenos. An feud based on not getting enough TV time! Occasionally they crecall that Mari broke Cinthia in half. Replays of Oriental trying to repay that last week on Fabi.
Match 1: Cinthia Moreno, Oriental vs Gran
Apache & Mari Apache for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship
Auditorio Benito Juarez, 09/14/08
Winner: Morenos,
Match Time: 15:34
Rating: Really good. Possibly slipped from MOTYC with the interference
but still really good.
Notes: Morenos have silver and black entrance gear. Diabolica is their
second, and she has a chair. I thinking she just wanted to make sure she can
relax during the match. Apache shave big headdresses. Except for Fabi, who just
has a neck brace from last week. Doesn't seem to be stopping her from turning
her neck, but that's fine. Pepe Casas is ref. Apaches are wrestling in red and
black, Morenos seem to have their regular stuff underneath the stuff they wore
to the ring. Break before the match. Oriental seems obsessed with trying to fin
a way to cheap shot Fabi, who's not actually in the match and all. Apache puts a
stop to that.
Rudos want handshakes to start the match. Apache should know better, but he keeps thinking about it. Apaches end up slapping hands, and that goes fine. Okay. Men start. Circle. Lockup, break. Circle, Oriental gets an armbar, twist, pump, twist the wristlock. Oriental switches to a waistlock, Apache fights to get free, Oriental gouges him in the eye to stop that. Oriental tires to break the hand lock, tries to force out into a wristlock, but no go. Cinthia is lead the crowd to cheer - wait, who are they cheering? Apache butt bumps Oriental to break the hold, takes him down, and ties up the leg. Apache rolls out into an armbar, back up to their feet, Oriental spun to the mat. Apache monkey flip, Oriental lands on his feet (then slips, oops.) Oriental off the ropes, clothesline misses, Apache grabs him, Oriental reverses it some how, drop toe hold, elbow drop follow. Oriental blow kisses to the crowd. They don't seem to be cheering him. Whip, reversed, Oriental slide under, up to Apache's shoulder, spun around and headscissors Apache. Oriental off the ropes, spinning armdrag sends Apache out under the ropes. Mari in and evading, but Oriental gets her too with a spinning headscissors. Oriental blocks a punch and heel kicks Mari in the midsection. Whip, charge, Oriental is boosted to the apron, Mari tries to slap him, Oriental blocks it, grabs her, and kisses her! What's gotten into him? Mari stumbles away. Oriental up top, moonsault to the floor on Gran Apache. CLIP! [1 - though it's a lot faster than past weeks.] Cinthia top rope silla on Mari, one two NO. Corner whip, but Mari comes right back out with her spinning heel kick. One two Cinthia back bridges out to escape (and show off.) Corner whip for Mari, Cinthia follows with a kick, Corner whip, reversed, Cinthia hits jump to the middle buckle and jumps off with a headscissors. Mari slides out, and Cinthia follows her with a apron silla. Fabi checks on her sister as the men pick up in the ring. Oriental pulled into armdrags, and Gran Apache gets a three stop double armbar cradle one two no.
Apache's clothesline is caught, and Oriental short clothesline him. Corner whip, Cinthia and Diabolica (!) trip him up from outside, Oriental adds a running dropkick to the head. Oriental celebrates being Oriental. Northern light suplex, flipping over into a cross armbreaker. Apache in some trouble, and Mari break sit up with stomps. Cinthia in to fight with her, and getting the better with punches. Oriental takes Gran Apache. Apache whipped into each, stop short, and take drop toe holds anyway from the Morenos. Double casita, one two NO. Morenos pick up the Apaches, whip them into corner charges - and at least Cinthia gets booted, we don't see the other side. Guess the same thing happened based on positioning. Apaches climb up, Morenos slaps them, and go up to join them. Cinthia gets Mari with a middle rope 'rana, Oriental is a lot slower to the same spot. One two NO. Back to opposite corners again. whipped into each other, reversed, Morenos hit, Cinthia goes down, Oriental is knocked down by the Apaches. Crowd behind the Apaches for sure. Oriental recovers in one corner as the Apaches set up Cinthia in another. Whip, reversed, Apache goes charging towards Oriental and gets kicked in the midsection. Cinthia takes care of Mari and comes over to help. Apache whipped towards his daughter, Mari boots him to the apron, Cinthia charges in and eats a boot, and Gran Apache flattens Cinthia with a plancha. Apache bounces the Morenos around, and leads them into a Mari missile dropkick. Morenos go out, Mari thru the ropes tope on Oriental! Again, Fabi's over quick to check on her sister. Ah, here's the long clip we all know and despise [2] Apache is bringing Cinthia in, with other two still recovering from their dive. Gran Apache has Cinthia by the head and seems to be thinking - ah, there's the kiss. Crowd chants OTRA, which Cinthia doesn't like. Apache gives her the slap and powerbombs her (hard.) Crowd chants once more for that too. Apache picks her up, and says this is it, but Cinthia is barely lifted up in the crucifix before she slips out and get the farmer's roll. Around and around we go, one complete cycle, one t-no, Mari break sit up with a sharp kick. Mari shakes Cinthia by the hair, and tosses her around the ring. Pepe Casas ask Mari not do it, but I don't think that's going to work. Apache lifts up Cinthia, tosses her to Mari, and Mari powerbombs her down. One two Oriental breaks it up. Mari kicks him, and Fabi chases him around the ring with a kick. Gran Apache has Cinthia again, double underhook backbreaker, Mari adds a snap ax kick, one two Oriental breaks it up again. Mari kicks Oriental out again - perhaps she could do that before they recover next time.
Mari tries to kick Cinthia but gets gets Gran Apache, and Cinthia gets Mari with a dropkick. Cinthia gets Mari over with a double armdrag, and she and Oriental pull Mari to the ropes. Diabolica grabs the chair, and pushes it into Mari's head. It's the new lightest chair shot ever and I love it. Oriental keeps Gran Apache from getting in, but Fabi chases Diabolica all the way up the ramp for interfering. Double whip, Mari goes over Cinthia, off the ropes, drop told hold by Cinthia, who sets up an Indian deathlock. Oriental fails at keeping Gran Apache out, but no problem, Cinthia gives him a Northern Light Suplex while still having the hold on. She just can't hold it for a three count, and the Apaches break free. Oriental stops Apache out of the ring, and helps his sister with Mari. Corner whip, Cinthia running big knee, Oriental clothesline. Oriental lifts Mari up to his shoulders, then drops Mari's head over his knee, holding her there for Cinthia's double stomp. one two NO. Oriental successful cut off Apache that time, no that helped. This is a really good match. Morenos opt to ditch Mari and try Gran Apache for a second. Oriental drop toe hold, Moreno running inverted facelock, Oriental running dropkick to the face, Oriental covers one two NO. Whip, Oriental clothesline misses, Gran Apache gets Cinthia with a bodyscissors into a inverted figure four! I think Oriental got grabbed by Mari and pulled out, so Cinthia's on her own - oh, wait, there he is, breaking it up with a giant top rope splash. Oriental pulls Gran Apache to the corner, and asks the crowd to be quiet to hear him slap and chop. Crowd does not go along! Amazing. Corner whip, reversed, Oriental gets his boot up. Oriental a fake karate pose, charges, and takes a hard armdrags. Gran Apache is just to his feet when Cinthia Moreno blows him up with a missile dropkick, and Mari just as quick takes her out with a clothesline. Same for Oriental - no, he blocks it, grabs her and gives her a jumping DDT. Everyone down. One two everyone up. Women kick the men out, Cinthia dropkicks Mari out, then goes to the top rope. Plancha knocks down Mari. They're both done, from the looks like it. Oriental screws with the crowd one more time. Off the ropes, 'rana, Apache rolls thru, Oriental rolls thru and back bridge on Apache, reverses THAT one two NO. Oriental bodyscissors cradle - no, he can't get it, Apache sits down one two Oriental reverses one two NO. Oriental misses a clothesline, and Apache gets him with a big slap. Apache lifts him, crucifix lift - and Diabolica runs in and mid kicks him! I don't know where Pepe Casas was supposed to be looking there, but probably not at Diabolica running in. I think my theory that the only DQ you can now get is for shoving the referee is totally correct.
Oriental, freed as Apache tumbles to the ground, smashes him with a running flipping legdrop. Oriental goes for the casita, and Fabi hits the ring to break that up. Oriental grabs her, and it's not time for another kiss - he's going to powerbomb her again! Apache is looking out of it, but has enough to break that up. Fabi gets in her climbing kick (this is all right in font of Pepe Casas again, who can't believe these shenanigans but isn't going to stop them.) Apache grabs Oriental as Fabi grabs Diabolica's chair. Swing - and she gets her father by accident, not Oriental. Apache falls to the mat like a tree, Oriental climbs on top, and Diabolica nicely sneaks up on Fabi and pulls her away form the cover. One two THREE. break.
Mari tries to fight the Morenos and gets beaten down and kicked out of the ring. Diabolica walks all over Apache for fun. Fabi gets stomped for staying in the ring. Morenos get their belts after we watch replays. Fabi tires to steal one away, and Cinthia kicks her in the face before calmly going back to celebrating. Rudos alternately celebrating and stomp the Apache. Lots and lots of replays.
Vignette: Apaches, backstage. Fabi apologizes, but Gran Apache is very mellow about the whole thing. "It's one battle, not the war." They're almost cheering Fabi up by the end. Odd not to see drama in this family.

Video Package: Mini Tournament. HOLY CRAP BRACKETS!!!!!!!!! It'd be neat if we could get them before a tournament ended, but it's nice to know they're familiar with the concept. After that tag team tournament, I wasn't sure. Recap of all the matches, in super quick form.
Match 2: Mini Abismo Negro vs Mini
Charly Manson vs Octagoncito for the AAA
Minis Championship
Auditorio Benito Juarez, 09/14/08
Winner: Mini Charly Manson
Match Time: 13:06
Other Match Notes: Why is Abismo wearing an Octagon like robe with belt?
Mini Histeria is his second. Mini Chessman is with Mini Charly. Mascarita
Sagrada is Octagoncito's corner man. Piero is ref. Valets bring out the new belt
on a fluffy pillow. It's gotten much darker. Piero is ref. Break. Three way
handshake!
All three are going to be in the ring at the same time, which makes it tough to call. Tecnicos end up sticking together, double hiptossing Abismo and double booting him in the head. Octagoncito gets Mini Abismo with a second rope 'rana, Mini Charly adds a springboard splash, covers, and this is where the problems are going to start. Octagoncito pulls him off, which cause an argument. I sure hope this is one pin to a finish, or he's a dope. Tecs circle each other, evade for a bit, and Mini Abismo ends up with a spinning headscissors into an armdrags. Octagoncito dropkicks him into the ropes, slips on the mat (bad, but mat doesn't look secure) and clotheslines Manson out. Octagoncito looks out of the ring at the mini Hell Brother, and turns into an Abismo superkicks. [3] Mini Abismo covers, one two no, and then a second later Charly breaks it up with a flying legdrop. Octagoncito takes break as Charly pounds Abismo with punches. Mini Charly off the ropes, clothesline caught and pulled down into an armscissors. Mini Charly looks n trouble, but also looks in the ropes. Mini Abismo lets go. Punches. Mini Abismo gets distracted by the crowd. Octagoncito hanging out on the apron now. Whip, Mini Charly with a spinning headscissors into a spinning DDT. Stomp, Double underhook, no, Mini Abismo won't go up, so Mini Charly switches to a nice German suplex one, two Octagoncito breaks it up. Octagoncito takes his time here. Chop for Charly. Whip? Talking about it for quite a bit. Corner Whip, spinning backbreaker. Octagoncito walks all the way around Mini Charly, looks around, stands a bit more, and then drags Mini Charly to the ropes,. Rope flip moonsault, one two NO. Punch by Octagoncito. Whip? No, talking about again. There' that whip. Octagoncito scoops Mini Charly up onto his left shoulder, spins around, and eats a superkick from Mini Abismo. Charly lands on his feet, charges, and takes an uppercut. With two opponents to face, Mini Abismo gets distracted by Mascarita Sagrada on the outside. Back to work. Charly gets choked on the ropes. Mini Abismo taking his time, as the seconds argue with Piero. Corner whip, Mini Charly moves out of the way, Mini Abismo hits the corner, Mini Charly charges and gets clotheslined anyway.
Mini Abismo to the corner, a long way away form Mini Charly - doesn't matter, Octagoncito crotches him. Slap, and Octagoncito is going up to join him. Both men standing on the top rope, then Octagoncito steps down a rope. Mini Charly comes over while they're holding each, gets Octagoncito with a springboard sunset flip, which means Abismo takes a superplex. Mini Charly holds on, but Piero doesn't get around to counting until after Octagoncito has been pushed free. Charly hammers Octagoncito - crowd chants for Charly, though they're not loud for anything. Charly gets Octagoncito in a leg neck crank submission, lets go, and small packages him. One two no. Thrust kick sends Octagoncito to the apron, big boot sends Abismo to the corner. Charly pounds on him. Corner whip, reverses, Charly gets his heel up, but charges into an Abismo Negro powerbomb. One two no. Abismo kicks him up, whip, Charly back with headscissors. Abismo out, Charly springboard plancha on top of him! Charly stays on top and forearms Charly. Meanwhile, Octagoncito goes to the apron - top rope Asia moonsault only Charly. Abismo fled, good for him. Towel waving times. Histeria sneaks in and stomps Octagoncito, then forces Mini Abismo back to the ring. Mini Abismo - what is he doing? Mini Abismo climbs the ropes, waits, and missile dropkicks Octagoncito after he comes back in. Mini Charly gets cut off with martial arts kicks. Abismo off the ropes, Northern lights suplex, one Mini Charly doesn't hold the bridge. Octagoncito kicks and chops Mini Charly. Whip, reverses, Octagoncito kips up and out, Mini Charly escapes a bodyscissors, Octagoncito gets him in waistlock, Abismo grabs Octagoncito - double German suplex! Mini Charly landed right on his head and neck, that looked damaging. All three down. Mini Abismo up first and stomping Octagoncito, then stomps Mascarita Sagrada. FOCUS. Powerbomb, no, Octagoncito escapes and back elbows Abismo down, but is immediately superkicked by Mini Histeria. Abismo German suplex, one two THREE. And, of course, it turns out to be elimination, so everyone who broke up a pinfall is a goofball.
Octagoncito bolts out of the ring and chases Mini Histeria around for a food three seconds before he gives up. Piero kicks Octagoncito and Mascarita Sagrada from ringside.. Helpfully, no one wrestles as he Piero is many meters from the ring. Abismo goes back to work, grabbing Mini Charly in a front facelock and and a hammerlock. Double underhook suplex, Mini Abismo hurting himself in the process. he really didn't get Charly over, but Mini Abismo recovers enough to crawl on top, one two no.
Mini Abismo decides to mess with Mini Chessman now, which draws him into the ring. Piero cuts off Mini Chessman, Mini Abismo grabs Mini Charly for a side slam, and Mini Histeria adds the guillotine legdrop. Wow, they worked a distraction to cause the interference, how old school. Mini Abismo has to get Piero to come back and count, one two Mini Chessman stop Piero. No DQ, so Chessman is smarter. Chessman even gets away with a shove on Piero., before Abismo takes care of himself, punching Mini Chessman in the face, hiptossing him over, pounding him on the ground, and stomping him in the face. Mini Abismo distracts Piero again, so Histeria can come in and stomp Mini Chessman a few times. Piero distracts himself, so both Abismo and Histeria can get in shots at the same time. Mini Charly is still down. Mini Abismo taunts the crowd a bit. Another kick to Mini Chessman. Mini Abismo gets back to Mini Charly, who's hurting a lot - Piero is checking on him, so now something might have actually gone wrong. Both Min Vipers hang out in the ring. Mascarita Sagrada and Octagoncito run back down and attack the Mini Vipers, which Piero sees and allows. Histeria dropkicked out by Sagrada, Octagoncito gives Mini Abismo a spinning backbreaker, and takes out Mini Histeria with a thru the ropes tope con giro. Both participants back up for the final bit, but we're watching Mini Histeria get beat on the floor. Abismo gets the knee bar on, Mini Charly in a lot of trouble and not near the ropes. Mini Abismo - just lets go. Probably not good strategy there. Mini Abismo Negro German suplex, one two NO. All three tecnicos are hold Mini Histeria on the floor. Mini Abismo tilt-a-whirl, Mini Charly reverses it into a spinning small package, one two THREE. Crowd explodes. BREAK
More with the post match celebration.
Vignette: continuing our Words From Losers, Mini Abismo can't believe he's not the champ and blames the refereeing. He DEMANDS another match, in very Jack Evans fashion. No complaints about the racists AAA management but you get the idea.
Video Package: tag titles. They try to pretend there's a coherent storyline here (clips of Lider's turn, Nicho and LIder turning on FdT) but reusing old HF2 promos don't work. Teddy's going to rape the FdT? I don't think he really has thought that one thru.
Match 6: Jack Evans, Teddy Hart vs Halloween
& Extreme Tiger vs Joe Lider & Nicho el
Millionario vs Crazy Boy, Ultimo Gladiador in a
ladder match for the AAA tag team titles
Auditorio Benito Juarez, 09/14/08
Winner: Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario
Match Time: 17:25
Other Match Notes: They're just going to keep on doing ladder matches
until they have a good one. I pray this is it, but I'm not crazy enough to do
PBP for it. Hermandad has new music that says their name a bunch (which isn't as
fun as the old one) and have blue jerseys with HX on it. Thank you, I needed an abbreviation.
You really can't be in this feud without one. We only see Extreme Tiger walk to
the ring, which makes it seem as though Halloween might not be showing up this
week either, but he's just trailing way behind. They do not look particularly
excited to be here. Teddy finds a camera he can swear at. Lider grabs Nikki by
the hair from inside the ring, but the camera (and Teddy) miss it. Crowd gets
whipped up into a big Mexico chant. Tirantes is ref.
At least to start, they have four guys in the ring and four guys waiting for tags. I can't imagine that'll last - actually, in no time, two get taken out. It's a lot of one guy taking out anther, and a third jumping in, no tags going on and people rolling to the apron rather to than tot he floor. The belts are hanging form the ceiling. Lider can't take a jumping DDT. Jack cracks Crazy in the head with a flipping kick and looks concerned about it for a while. Nicho tries to jump in like Jack, but Jack makes like Sangre Azteca and Nicho gets killed. Nicho and Halloween reunited for a giant swing/dropkick combo on Jack. Halloween takes the chest slide to the floor, and almost ends up Nikki's lap. [4] Things have started to breakdown - there are more people fighting outside and few on the apron. Teddy gets Halloween with a sliding dropkick, then gets both Halloween and Gladiador with a top rope Asai moonsault.
Tiger gets Jack with a dropkick to the knee, but Lider and Crazy sweep him off the apron before he can do a springboard move. Hey, the Mexican Powers reunited! Jack does a an Asai twisting moonsault onto the group. Lider take out Teddy and goes for Nikki, but Teddy grabs him in time and Nikki gets to slap him a few times. Jack actually gets ladders and being them in the ring, crazy. Powerbomb backcracker, check, standing twisting moonsault, check, Tiger in so they can check off the shooting star press/side backbreaker combo. A crowd shot that's not actually a clip! MPs sneak in while HF2 is screwing around, allowing Teddy to check off the straight jacket back cracker on UG. Teddy goes for a Canadian Destroyer (and a bingo on hit card) on Crazy Boy, but UG breaks that up with a superkick. Ladder clothesline by the MPs, a move involving a ladder on the ladder match, wow. Stopping PBP now, but MPs are well into their combos. Mexican Powers set up the ladder and climb it! FdT, against this match having an ending, break that up. MPs rally, but Halloween spears UG and Crazy Boy takes a bad 3D. HX's turn to attack a team, though they decide to actually use the ladder after the fact. Halloween gets smacked in the face with one, Tiger gets swung face first into one. Jack comes in alone, and gets killed with a back suplex/neckbreacker. Teddy finally takes them out with a springboard double clothesline.
Halloween in, Halloween reverses it into a side powerbomb. FdT take Teddy to the outside, set up him on the barricade, and Tiger gets in his guillotine legdrop. It actually connects, even. In the ring, Jack takes on the MPs himself, and fairs bad. double hanging spinning DDT, UG superbomb. MPs, intent on actually winning this match, set up the ladder again, and UG slowly climbs while Crazy stands by the ladder. Lider runs in - and attacks Crazy. DUMB. UG can' figure out he needs to climb one more step to get the belt, and Lider has enough time to shake the ladder, knock UG off, and knock the ladder into him. Lider, not interested in winning, sets the ladder on Crazy in the corner to get in his Van Terminator. Nicho bring in chairs, because what they need are weapons. A ladder has been set up like a bridge from the apron to the barricade, and Nicho and Halloween battle on it. Nicho accidentally files down and crotches it for real. Lider hits Halloween with a chair and helps him up, as all three stand on the ladder. Halloween is sorta powerbomb on it - I don't know that's what they wanted, but the ladder immediately gives away. Tiger flies out on Nicho with a tope con giro. As everyone repositions things, crowd goes wild over something we don't see - seem to be involving Nikki and a fan in some way. UG brings Lider another ladder hanging from a the ring and the barricade, and Lider kinda sort headscissors UG into it. That didn't look good and both men are down. Nicho sets up chair in the ring battles Tiger. Tiger ends up dropkicking a chair into him, calling him to fall out of the ring and onto a convivent table, . Tiger crashes thru with a top rope 450. Crazy Boy battles Lider, who gave and not took that last move.
Big spot here is Lider setting up a guillotine on Crazy Boy, like way back when, but Crazy breaking free to chair shot Lider. Crazy does his chair moonsault onto a ladder onto Lider. The doctor is making his way out for someone - why didn't he just start the match out there? Again, Crazy Boy tries to actually win the match, the only team that's trying. Halloween puts a stop to that by spearing him off the ladder (with Crazy Boy throwing himself off the ladder to be in the way.) Halloween slowly climbs the ladder, grabbing his hamstring, then climbs back down when Lider comes in. Spear misses, and Halloween this the post. Lider chairs Halloween in the head, the chair sticking on Halloween's head. Lider sets up for another chair guillotine, climbs the ladder (a bigger ladder than they've been using) high enough so his head in blocked out by the belts on screen, and comes off with a legdrop for Halloween. Maybe you could've got the belts while you were up there? Oh, now he wants to climb and get them. Nicho in, cutting off Crazy Boy from stopping Lider. Lider climbs up, grabs the belts, and that's it. What happened to the Hart Foundation?
Break, and as has been standard, they come back for the celebration. Teddy and Jack are limping of, but disappeared from this match about half way thru. HX poses with the belt as we see highlights.
promo: because it takes less time, we catch up with the happy winners. They have nothing to say except how good they are. Nicho mention someone named X-Fly, whoever that might be.
video package: Chessman vs Cibernetico, focusing on the last few weeks and Charly.
Match 5: Chessman vs Cibernetico for the AAA World Mega Heavyweight Championship
Auditorio Benito Juarez, 09/14/08
Winner: Cibernetico
Match Time: 9:55
Other Match Notes: Chessman has new black gear, changed facepaint (still
red) and slowly walks to the ring. He's more Wolfpack Sting then Kane now.
There's one person who jumps the rail for Chessman, but there's more people than
security for Cibernetico. Cibernetico has an evil clown mask - dude, that
gimmick is taken! Piero is ref. No seconds. Both have to take some time to get their
entrance gear off. Oh, I guess that was a red mask Chessman was wearing, because
he pulls it off to show dark facepaint. Chessman still gets some cheers and
Arturo is able to start a chant for him that catches on - people unaware of the
story here or the story's been that bad? [5] Match starts with just over 15
minutes left in the show, so I don't think it's going to be very
long.
Lockup, break. Chessman sneaks around the ring. Lockup, Cibernetico waistlock, Chessman into a hammerlock, Cibernetico into an armbar and waistlock, bending Chessman down. Chessman trios him up, zero cover, armdrag barely works. Crowd is chanting for both guys. Chessman looks freaky. Lockup, test of strength, Cibernetico kicks to break it to an armbar. Wristlock, Chessman rolls free, picks the leg, rolls Cibernetico to his feet, hiptosses him over, and holds on. Cibernetico kips up and armdrags free. [6] Cibernetico suplexes Chessman, float over, one two no. Cibernetico can't believe he did not win this match with a suplex. Cibernetico picks up Chessman, and Chessman hammers him with some good punches, at least from the angles they show. Chessman kicks Cibernetico around, and works him over with rabbit punches to the head. Cibernetico whines to the referee. Chessman kicks him in the leg, rolls out, and grabs one of those wood panels. Cibernetico's kept down with a dropkick. Chessman gets up the wood panel in the corner, so at least he has a plan. Stomp. Elbow drop. Chessman looks around, and goes out again. What now? You don't really need a table too. Chessman sets it up right in front of the aisle, where it can only end up hurting him later. Chessman back in, and knocking Cibernetico back down with a dropkick to the knee. Punch. Punch. Chessman backed into the rope, Chessman punches him in the leg, then punches him in the head. Making the belt motion. Looking at the crowd. Whip, reversed, Cibernetico misses the clothesline, Chessman slides under the boot, shove, shove back. Cibernetico off the ropes, Chessman puts his head down too soon for no reason at all, Chessman kicks him, Stunner! Cibernetico says that's it, and then covers him. One two NO. Other order, dude. Cibernetico very frustrated. Slipping a little bit, but that's natural with him. Cibernetico right, right, Chessman breaks free a punch, kick, Stunner shoved off towards the table. Cibernetico regains his footing, Chessman charges, spear into the table! COVER HIM. Chessman looks out of it, but he's kinda on top. Does he have to drag him on the table? No, I guess what Chessman decides he has to do is pose. Replays of the table breaking. Chessman patiently waits until the replays are done, then covers, one two NO. That's what he gets for being a nice guy and letting the production people have their time. Chessman isn't to sure what to do next. How about a move? [7] Chessman stands up Cibernetico, off the ropes, dropkick - I meant a better move than that! - and Cibernetico moves. Cibernetico clotheslines Chessman, Chessman runs into a backdrop, and Cibernetico roars as Chessman celebrates. Some boos there, for sure. Cibernetico grabs Chessman, but Chessman punches him in the bad knee. Forearm to the bad knee. Lots of crowd shots here, but I don't think they're clipping. Stomp on the knee. Right hand. Kick to the head. Chessman brings Cibernetico out to the apron with the table, but Chessman on the apron, Cibernetico still inside. Chessman tries to suplex him out, blocked, blocked again, Cibernetico punches free. Chessman is stuck standing on the bottom rope for some reason, Cibernetico goes to the middle rope, faceslam causes Chessman rebound backwards, off the ropes, thru the air, and backwards thru the table. So completely ludicrous, and the table legs gives way instead of the table breaking of course. There's a big whole in the table, but Chessman still bounces off and hit the floor. Piero get to counting Chessman out. Cibernetico is dead in the ring. Chessman is an unkillable zombie, so he crawls back in before 20. Cibernetico finally recovers, turns around, and can't believe Chessman is back in the ring. Cibernetico stands him up, punches him and holds him on the ropes. Whip, clothesline misses, Chessman superkicks him. Chessman is back to being completely fine as he pounds Cibernetico with punches. Chessman stops, though, because he hears Mesias's music play. Oh no, Chessman's single track mind is striking again. Chessman stares at Mesias as Mesias walk to the ring. Cibernetico gets up behind Chessman, Chessman spots him in time to throw a kick, Cibernetico catches it, spins him, choke, and chokeslams. One two three.
While you're contemplating why tecnico Cibernetico need a run-in by a rudo to beat another rudo, a random fan slides into the ring and lays o top of Chessman, talking to him. Arturo figures that out about 20 seconds before anyone involved with secuirty does. After he's been cleared out, Mesias gets in the ring, and watches as Cibernetico poses with the belt. They stare down, a little, Cibernetico mostly ignoring him. Mesias steals the belt away from him when he's really not paying attention, takes a look at it, and gives it back. Mesias walks off. Cibernetico stares at Chessman some, gets his arm raised, and walks off. Replays.
