Pollo turned on Eragon after Eragon accidentally hit him a few times. Ref waved it off as a DQ. Pollo appeared to join the rudo side after the match.

Comando Negro reversed a roll up and grabbed the bottom rope to beat Alan Extreme. Alan shoved the ref for blowing the call. Eterno suffered a wrist injury catching a dive at the end. Golden Magic, replacing the billed Goleador, appears to be a new name.
4) el Ángel, Multifacético, Veneno b Avisman, Destroyer, El Hijo del Diablo
Destoyer’s girl Sherry got involved as usual. She teased kissing Veneno in the third fall, Veneno knocked her away, but Diablo still pinned him.
5) Bobby Lee Jr., Hijo de LA Park, Trauma I b Bestia 666, Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Hijo de Pirata Morgan
Bobby Lee Jr. replaced Hijo del Pantera. Rudos took the first, tecnicos the second, and Park beat Pirata for the win.

Robin filled in for Zayco. Despite being on the wrong side, he still won. This was Camaleón’s debut in Arena Puebla, and he seems to be showing up much more frequently this year.
3) Sangre Azteca DQ Misterioso II, Loco Max, Ares, Vangelis, Stuka Jr., Sagrado, Metro, Fuego, Delta [cibernetico]
Ares replaced Nosferatu. No order of elimination. Much like Tuesday’s cibernetico, it came down to two guys on the same team. This time, it was feuding Sangre Azteca and Misterioso. Misterioso yanked Sangre’s mask for the rare DQ finish to a cibernetico.
4) Euforia, Pólvora, Virus b Ángel de Oro, Diamante, Rush
Virus snuck in a foul on Rush for the pin. Rush demanded a rematch for next week, and Virus accepted.
5) La Sombra, Máscara Dorada, Super Porky DQ Averno, Mephisto, Volador Jr.
Rudos took the firs, tecnicos took the second, Averno yanked Dorada’s mask in the third fall.

R de Rudo has a really good interview with Heavy Metal about his life long love of music. Metal believes Arena Naucalpan, in the late 80s, was the first lucha libre arena to use entrance music. The building also doubled as an  skating rink (!!) so they had the music and lights already set up.

El Hijo del Solitario had been a rudo, but faught with his teammates and turned tecnico here. Multifacetico/Tetsuya feud still being pushed.

Freelance looks good in his match and wants a title shot against the Oficials, but he did lose. Chico Che got busted open again. Traumas want a title shot and won, though the win came when Black Terry decided to piledrive Jack. Opener was a sweep for Azteca.

After the main event, Veneno stormed out, wondering how IWRG could have a new Corporacion on the next show, since he knew nothing about it owned the trademark. The promoter told Veneno to take it up with the new group, not him.

And the twist is, the new Corp is a group of second generation tecnicos. This will not make Veneno happy.

For no apparent reason, Dr. Cerebro was Freelance’s second in special non-title singles match. Naturally, Cerebro got carried away and fouled Tetsuya, causing the DQ. Freelance was ticked, and there were three way challenges all around.

Gemelos and Chico Che fell apart as a team in the third fall of their title match. Gemelos may be going rudo.

Alan Stone is the #2 man in Rey de Reyes. He’s also probably not winning.

(RFC) Pancho Tequila won the 50 man Royal Rumble in Arena Coliseo Monterrey.

Alex put up a good fight and won the first fall, but Atlantis took two and three clean. In the semimain, Ultimo beat Shocker with his own move. Sagrado filled in for Maximo, who still out from his injury on Sunday. They might as well change the teased Maximo/Texano feud to Sagrado/Texano feud – that’s what the feud was here. Euforia filled in for a hurt Leono in the third match – I’m not sure where this leaves the hair match for next Monday – and didn’t get along with his teammates. Mr. Agulita replaces Sombrita in the minis match, but I don’t know if anyone was hurt there.

02/18: LA Park, IWRG, Accion

Ovaciones reports that LA Park was suspended two weeks for his attack on Dr. Wagner on 02/09. Which means the suspension is more than half over before we even heard about it (and as a non-regular, no one would’ve noticed he was purposefully not being scheduled unless someone said something about it.) LA Park says CMLL just suspended him to protect their boy Wagner, and he was already booked in northern Mexico anyway.

Next Thursday, IWRG’s running a cage of death, with hair and masks on the line, but a title that’ll actually change hands.

Mask: Electroshock (what could he possibly look like underneath that mask!), Fantasma de la Opera
Hair: Bestia Salvaje (lives!), Villano III, El Dandy, Hijo del Diablo, Suicida
Title: Black Pentagon (IWRG Middle, I presume)

I guess the old guys could drop their hair for a payday – it would explain where Bestia came from, at least. Speaking of random people showing up, the semimain includes Nosawa and Kaz Hayashi.

CMLL: Trios title match. Tarzan and Hector are wrestling in shirts. (Wellness policy?) Ultimo’s spinning double submission was the one to end them all. They tried a spot where Ultimo backdropped Hector into a dive towards Atlantis, Tarzan and Aguila, but the backdrop wasn’t high enough and Hector got caught in the ropes on the way down. Of the three catchers, Atlantis was the farthest one away and the only one who actually tried to catch him. Atlantis and Ultimo got the double Atlantidas once again, but this time Hector and Perro escaped and cradled them for the titles. Clean.

AAA: Parka, Octagon, Alerbije, Zorro vs Abismo, Antifaz, Histeria, Niebla from Puebla. Layoff has not hurt Parka’s ability to be a goof. If anything, these clips show that he had much goofiness bundled up that he just had to get out. Abismo set up for what could’ve been the Martinez Special on Alberije, so Hijo de Tirantes – just kinda stood behind him. Abismo back elbowed him for infringing on his personal space, and then set up for the Martinez Special on him. Abismo held it up, which gave Latin Lover time to get in an foul him. Alerije tripped up Abismo and pressed slammed Cuije on top before collapsing, and Zorro covered Cuije and Abismo for the win.
