5) Heavy Metal, Lizmark Jr., Shocker b Mascara Ano 2000, Olimpico, Universo 2000

Pierroth got DQed for using his belt! That’s amazingly inconsistent but I’m happy about it. Skandalo is a guy who’s work with and opposite CMLL guys on quite a few house shows (most noticeable in Puebla, but elsewhere around the country as well) to the point where I was thinking he was on the roster, but he’d never actually worked Coliseo or Mexico as far as I know. Now he has.

La Cronica de Hoy talks about the VIP show. Much to Robert’s annoyance, the author talks about seeing Turbo in the opener – and she also confused Ultimo Guerrero with Marco Corelone. Good one! If she can be belived, next show is 02/10 and it will have the Coco Rojo/Super Muneco mask match. My favorite part of this article is the author’s picture.

Police in Tijuana have been rearmed – with slingshots. (Thanks to mikeinformer)
