The Gimnasio Nuevo Leon show from last week airs sometimes Sunday on the local TV Azteca channel (7). I thought I had a way of getting a feed of that show, but no luck.

I’m really confused on what they’re doing this week. Their taping names don’t make sense with the shows they have to fill I’ve got the chart set up like they’re going to finish the Cordoba taping this week – main event and other matches on Sin Limite, whatever left on Fusion next week – but they could also just jump right to the Chilapancingo taping this week on Sin Limite (and UTDN) and all of Cordoba on Fusion.

Either way, it’s probably a Bizarros vs Perros main event for Sin Limite; they’re doing those every other week since Rey de Reyes.

Guadalajara didn’t air this past week – it didn’t air a rerun, which happens frequently enough. The local cable listings are now showing GDL as airing Fridays at 3pm and Saturdays at 7pm local (and they’re still not on daylight time), so maybe we just had the wrong slot last time? I guess we find out tomorrow.

Puebla is still listed as for Monday, but it’s been that way the last two weeks and then aired on Tuesday. If I were the one guy recording this show, I’d set to record both shows.

IWRG on LAS (and possibly AYM)’s start time on Sunday is always listed goofy. It seems like the actual start time is around 7:45-8pm Central Daylight Time. It’s preceded by a Sobre el Ring at 7, so maybe that’s a good time to start (and record for about 4.5 hours.)

Daylight savings time remains in effect for the US but not for important parts of Mexico. Channels which run basically the same feed in the US and Mexico – 52MX, Multimedios, VideoRola (Las Luchas), AYM, Latin American Sports – all tend to stay on the Mexico clock, and many of those networks do not bother to update their US onscreen TV listings to reflect the times. (52MX is the only that you can trust.) Season passes and the like may not record accurately. Channels which only broadcast in Mexico of course also behind an hour – this helped me out with TVC Deportes until the feed died.

Latin American Sports does seem like it may have picked up IWRG for the time being – it’s on the schedule for this week and the next. It’s hard to believe any show on that channel will air when/if it’s supposed to, and last week was a rerun. (I don’t think I have it in me to do six hours of live coverage this Sunday; four will be plenty.)

The scourge known as Daylight Savings Time returns to the US, Canada and some (but not nearly enough) of Mexico this weekend. Clocks spring forward an hour, which means events and television shows starting in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey will be 1 hour later than you’d normally expect them to be starting Sunday night. This starts with the Terra and Noches de Coliseo broadcasts this weekend.

Latin American Sports does not list any lucha libre this week (though I’m taping the time slot just in case.) Could they have aired the IWRG show because they realized it was a big match? That seems so unlike these TV networks.

Galavision/Televisa: Namajague/Okumura vs Stuka/Cometa is a Televisa feud, lightning match usually ends up here too, and the Tuareg match always oddly ends up here too. I wonder if guys get paid differently based on which network airs their matches; that would start to explain some choices.

FOX: This seems to be the Volador/Sombra show, and the main event ends up here by default. Fox Deportes US has updated it’s schedule – it looks like every episode of this show will air, but almost never on Saturdays. Some episodes will air on Sundays, some episodes will be pushed to the following Friday. (That’s the deal with the episode airing this Friday, it’s the Sombra vs Volador final which aired in Mexico last Saturday.)

They both set up matches on the next taping, but either are on the two hour show or will be skipped entirely.
