5) Cibernético, Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown b Alex Koslov, Espíritu, Konnan, Zorro

Jesse and Escoria tried to help the rudos in the main event, failed. The upside is Konnan might actually know Jesse exists now.

2) Bronco, Durango Kid, Súper Comando b Fabián el Gitano, Leono, Starman

Mistico wrestled as a tecnico in the first fall, so his team won but the rudos were ticked at him. Mistico refused to help his partners in fall two, so the rudos won and the tecnicos were ticked at him. Misitco tried to help Panther in the third fall, but one hit the other and Atlantis picked up the winning pin.

Today’s Ovaciones pushes the idea that now that Dos Leyendas is over, CMLL needs to push new stars. (Wasn’t that why Sombra’s won? Not that it worked out that way, as kcidis notes.) Their picks for new stars: IWRG’s La Rocca & La Seductora. You could not be more random.

Dorian Roldan says LA Park vs La Parka Jr. will happen at TripleMania, but they’re not sure of what will be on the line. He mentions name vs name and no DQ, but not mask vs mask.

After taking Felino’s mask, Sombra‘s goals are to take Mistico & Dragon Rojo Jr.’s masks. That would be a fun team, Mistico should totally hang out with Poder Mexica.

At Monday’s Arena Puebla show, fans were prohibited from bringing food or drink into the building, or yelling vulgar language. That seems a harsh penalty for lucha libre fans. Over on Box Y Lucha, there’s a reposted newspaper column with the rudo fans complaining about being prohibited from throwing anything.

AAA wonders who will challenge Electroshock at TripleMania, which means we’re not supposed to think of Chessman/Electro as locked in.

Estrellas del Ring interviews Chilean luchadora Alison Evans.

Black Terry Jr. has photos from the Monterrey Lucha Libre Fesival.

LuchaVaVoom has shows in LA, New York and San Fransisco in May, and is back in Chicago on June 16th. That article says there are 7pm and 10pm shows, and I’m thinking you want to go to the late show.

Segunda Caida watched 09/10/09 IWRG.

Alfredo has a recap of this week’s IWRG. Find out how the main event turned out!

  1. Its weird that Ovaciones of all the young talent they could have mentioned, picks out La Rocca. He must have been an intern/writer/contributor working for them recently. That just seemed out of left field.

  2. In case you didn’t catch it Cubs, Ras de Lona will have a new time slot on 52mx on Saturdays at 10:30am.

  3. @Tim: Only when they’ve mistakenly booked Ozz for shows when he’s on an airplane back from Japan.
