Atomic Boy gets to play third wheel to the Gato/Pimpi romance this time around.

First match for Super Fly on TV in a couple months. Perhaps they’ll resolve the turn?

Mystery person in the semimain should be Shiima Xion, though I don’t know why they wouldn’t just list him at this point. Maybe “mystery person” means more than Shiima Xion right now?

Looks like Cibernetico IS working in Monterrey, after all. Or maybe he’ll just run-in to attack Mesias. Theoretically, Silver King is a tecnico now, but it may just be a weird team with Dr. Wagner. We might know for sure if they blow off Parka/Silver King here. Another answer might be Parka being set up as Wagner’s challenger – Mesias and Cibernetico are likely to side drain each other, so it’s likely to be someone else, and Parka is in that #1 contenders match.

Looking back at that match now, it’s really only Parka, Zorro or maybe Electro left who could make sense. Electro only works if the the title match is not meant to be the main event, and Zorro seems to have other issues.

Got another taping on the 17th before that battle royal, so more clues are coming.

  1. I’m thinking the title match will be a 3 way, either Mesias and Ciber brawling and losing by CO to Wagner or Parka Jr and Silver King with some angle going on (possibly a turn) since I doubt Wagner would want to be in the ring alone with Cibe or Parka-ris.

  2. I approve this lineup. First three matches look like they can be a ton of fun.

It seems like Pimpi and Yuriko are fighting over Gato’s love so they may be building to a ?singles? match with the winner getting Gato… whatever that means.

Maybe AAA is just bringing in random foreigners for Tiger to go over on to try and establish him as an international star or whatnot. This could be M-Dogg’s turn.

If L.A. Park is coming into AAA at any point you would have to think it’d be now with the indy scene dying off (officially) and his regular DQ finish buddy Wagner having the top spot in the promotion. What if they have ParkAAA win the battle royale and set up a big angle where L.A. Park appears at Verano De Escandalo in some form?

  3. This lineup looks good. Almost like an Pena era AAA lineup. ( Which is a good thing.) @Rob: If AAA does bring in LA Park, would they turn Parka rudo?

  4. The problem of bringing LA Park is that AAAMania would look weaker (even though it had Hijo del Santo) in terms of surprises, with Marco and Wagner running in in RdR, Ciber walking in a run of the mill taping and then the possible LA Park angle… would make more sense for December, at least distancing it from ‘mania.

Tapia would be brought in to lose his mask, so I doubt he’d accept, and I don’t see him as a tecnico as he likes to badmouth the crowd these days, even more so if he’s opposite Wagner.

  5. An article in the AAA page says that ? is somewhat related to Kenzo and Oriental, it could be Shiima as Philippines is in the Orient but I think they mean that Sugi guy who is in the Gdl taping. They also hint Kenzo forming his own faction…
