Technically, the opener was the debut of Guapito’s Los Chihuahueños del Mal promotion, which looks like any normal minis match in AAA. Octagoncito beat Mini Abismo.

It’s not especially clear what the DQ in the second match for, but since Fabi ended up being strechered out, a Billy Boy martinete seems like a likely idea. Rudos continued to attack Fabi after the match and her partners could not stop them, so Elegido ran out to make the save. Hmm.

In between matches, the Legion hit the ring to officially announce Electroshock as the third member of their team. Chessman and Kenzo are in, and we know Silver King will be but they haven’t said it yet. Konnan demanded Roldan come out and announce his fourth member (Parka, Octagon, and Santo are official), but instead he got Parka, who told Konnan to wait for Tlaxaca. Sounds like they might announce four and five (Vamp and Elegido) on that show.

Zorro continued to duck out on Charly and X-Pac in their trios match. Mesias got Teddy for the win.

Lider & Kenzo controlled most of their match, but the tecnicos overcame for the win. After, Nicho showed up and Latin and Marco with chairs to set up their title match at TripleMania.

Alan Stone was first out in the Cruiserweight final, falling to Tiger’s 450. Alex got Tiger with the Red Scare to become the first champion. Probably should’ve been able to easily tell this, seeing as Alex is already booked in next taping’s main event.

Cuervo didn’t lose! Cuervo was too busy getting dived on by Wagner and beat up on the outside. While Wagner was dealing with him, and distracted by Mesias doing commentary, Silver King hit Parka with an object behind the ref’s back for the pin. Recap makes it sound like Silver King got away with something, as if they didn’t do weapon shots every single week without a DQ.

After the match, Wagner and Mesias faced off, which turned into a brawl this time. All the tecnicos came back out to separate them.

Next taping is Monday in Tlaxaca. We’re still waiting to see who the mystery tag partners are to face Chessman & Teddy, though one is surely Jack.

  1. Injured? Stuck in Fabi Apache’s closet of forgotten Luchadors? Who cares about him when you got the great tag team of Billy Boy and Sexy Star right there.

So no follow up on Jack Evans tecnico turn?

  2. I think AAA did this strange thing where Jack is actually off TV for a week to sell a beating. So unlike them, must’ve been Jack’s idea.

  3. I didn’t even know FCW was coming to Orlando next week. I probably will then.
