What happened:

The Mexico men’s soccer team was playing a game against this show. It might be responsible for CMLL forgetting to stream the opener, and for the segunda going two falls for no other reason.

The stream also goes out during the first fall of the main event, joining in the second fall (though it’s not at all clear a fall break has been missed until the match is over.)

Thoughts:

I watched the main event just so I could give an OK and write these words, because it’s going to be weird to have a streamed Volador/Cavernario match without a rating. There’s no reason to watch this one – I’m rating it OK primarily so I don’t have to recall why I didn’t rate it – because Volador is doing almost nothing and the match is messed up pretty badly by the stream dying. There’s no circumstance where a good match would’ve come out of matching these two guys up days before their Aniversario match, and this exists as a testament to the weaknesses of CMLL’s booking.

The rest of the card was usually Tuesday filler. I watched most of the show that aired and yet don’t have it me to do match reviews. The Fuego match was the most classical fan friendly easy Tuesday match, a borderline good match where everyone worked hard in usual midcard fashion. Blue Panther tried to switch it up a little bit during his match, and it was more distracting than creative this week. Also distracting was Dragon Rojo deciding he needed to start wearing white face point. The semi-main was aggressively nothing, as was the Nitro match.

maybe not the only move Volador did but it seemed that way
