AAA-US: Last taping of 2008. One more KENTA match, Clowns vs Sect in the main event, and the debut of the new Espectro de Ultratumba and the new Mini Psicosis. Still waiting for the second TV match for Espectro.

LATV/FS: Finally, the women’s title match. Perhaps the first match in this feud to get seven minutes? Also, Coliseo main event.

52MX: just randomness.

  1. VEO TV is listed on wwitv.com. We’ll have to remember to check it out this weekend to see what CMLL is airing over there.

  2. @thecubsfan: Cubs, I rewatched the match since Saturdays I tend to multitask while watching lucha. I still didn’t like it. Marcela was great throughout the match, but the first two falls I didn’t care for Princesa Blanca on offense. Third fall, Princesa Blanca seemed to pick it up a bit to go along with Marcela, but then the ending absolutely sucked. Now don’t get me wrong, I get the ref didn’t see what Mima Shimoda did, but then the commission guy is standing right there as Mima is arguing about pulling Marcela off the ring apron.

Then they follow that up with the roll-up near the corner were Mima Shimoda is holding Princesa Blanca’s hands for the pin AND THE FREAKIN’ commission guy is standing there telling the ref to look at what Mima’s doing and the ref still does the 3-count. Finish was way too over-booked at the end.

I think I probably would have changed my opinion upon second viewing, but that finish was awful. They should have just had Mima help Princesa Blanca win without having the commission guy.

Also, Hector Garza needs to stop wearing those full body-suit outfits. First thing I thought when he came out wearing a red body-suit was that he should have added some bug antennae and he’d be a roided up version of El Chapulin Colorado.
