Main event was a cage match, but it was last one left loses it for his team rules. Order of escape:

1) Octagon
2) Kenzo Suzuki
3) Latin Lover
4) Electro

At this point, Super Fly was bleeding and had a ripped up mask, so Latin Lover had to go back to save him. Latin fought Konnan, who ended up bleeding during this.

5) Rellik
6) La Parka

Latin climbed up to leave, but had liquid thrown in his face by Sergio Mayer*. Latin took a big bump into the cage, Konnan climbed out and now is in control of AAA. Cibrenetico confronted him, said his contract with the Roldans and not AAA, and the ensuing argument led to the AAA World Championship being vacated.

* – Sergio Mayer was one of the producers of the Solo por Mujeres shows that Latin was a part of, then not a part of after a falling out. I don’t think anyone reading this cares all that much, but it’s surely something for the gossip shows.

The AAA article mentioning the titel vacated says the possible contenders are (if you can’t name them by the end of this line, you have not been following this promotion) Zorro, Chessman, Mesias and Cibernetico. Wheee.

Zorro took the pinfall in the street fight. After the match, Charly Manson tried to get Cibernetico and Chessman to reunite and reform the Hell Brothers, but Chessman refused. They’re done.

Chris Stone was hurt in the ladder match. I was hurt by Lider/Nicho holding onto the titles. I’m thinking this means HF2 isn’t long for this world.

So Hogan, Sting, Luger, Nash and Savage are the only contenders for the Heavyweight Title?

And because The Giant got left out of the title picture they just let him kill 6 guys in a row to win an important tournament?

Oh wait… wrong promotion. My bad.

As I said earlier – it’ll be interesting to see how Parka and Konnan escaped the cage. I get the feeling Konnan took the door route.

Aero Star only matching up with Pirata sucks b/c Pirata isn’t a great catcher at his age any more. The opening match should be fun if they got a few minutes.

Teddy/Jack being eliminated first is surprising. I wonder if they’re gonna push forward with the rumored split and just have Jack become a tecnico with Teddy either leaving or them feuding.

The rest is the rest. The year moves on and the angles and stars stay the same. GDT with Mesias vs Chessman vs Ciber vs Zorro. How interesting.

So Konnan taking over AAA was second fiddle to the feud of the Strippers (Meyer and Latin)?

The funny thing is that Meyer is supposed to be in the Perros company as well. Or maybe he jumped a la XPac, before ever showing up in CMLL.

I’m watching AAA TV right now and I gotta say…

I really don’t like the fact that AAA is just outright copying DX from 12 years ago. Its pretty annoying. The faction’s alright, but they should have at least put some thought into the name, music, video, etc. Its up there with CMLL’s screwiness.

AAA seems to be copying the 1996 WCW and Attitude era WWF, I wonder if this will work cause I think week in, week out, AAA is the best TV product today.
