This week’s Wrestling Observer says the tentative plan is to start taping the AAA El Rey show in August with the show itself getting on air. The report very definitive only in those dates not being for certain, only the current plan. Nothing is for sure until El Rey announces a date, and even then it’s still flexible.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Daga feels he should go for a second championship, doesn’t hit women, but made an exception for the unruly Faby Apache.

Titan & Triton visited a small child.

Anibal Jr. & Cosmos Negro won Copa Saeta Azul, a tournament honoring his father.

  1. In your opinion, why is Gronda being resurrected? Maybe the US partners did inventory of characters and liked it and decided to bring it back?

  2. @LLL: My hunch is Blue Demon was supposed to be on the show and was not, and everyone else they called was busy until they got down to Gronda. I’d be surprised if he’s used more going forward than the Alan Stone fill in level – I don’t think any last minute additions to cards in February and March have anything to with who they will or won’t use in the US.

  3. Sorry for asking, but where is Dinamic Black? Why he is not wrestle in IWRG anymore? Last year his was awesome, but now he hasn’t been in IWRG for at least four months

  4. Dinamic had a falling out with IWRG, left on bad terms, is unlikely to be back soon. It’s Mexico and IWRG especially, so never say never. He switched to IWL but IWL isn’t running much, so you have to look for him around the indies.
