Crazied IWRG fan. This was A Show. I saw a little of the 01/01 minis match and the minis were not so great. No card for Thursday yet.

Rob has 14 minutes of the CMLL Anniversary show.

El Siglo de Torreon interviews four Laguna luchadors about last year and this one.

Dragon Rojo would like to win both sets of trios titles, Sombra’s mask on the anniversary show, and place first in the bodybuilding contest. That last one might be the most impossible.

Euforia talks more about last year, proud of his trip to Japan, blaming the attendance woes on worldwide economic problems, and mentions he’s helping Ultimo Guerrero train La Laguna luchadors Los Fantasticos.

Soberano Jr., who is now 20, feels proud for debuting in CMLL at 17.  He feels it gave him a big advantage over guys who don’t get started until 23 or 25. Soberano lost to the eventual Gran Alternativa winner and won the Gran Alternativa, but think his performance in those tournaments got him booked much more.

Niebla Roja is happy with this travels and his rise to main events. The guys who used to be his idols are now his colleagues and rivals, so he’s working at making himself his own idol. His biggest achievement of the year was becoming a dad – his daughter was born on December 28th.

Astral is said to be out two weeks with a cracked fracture. That seems way too short of a time for that injury.

The El Hijo del Santo retirement announcement story was republished this weekend for no real reason. It makes it sound like he just did his retirement announcement (he’s actually on vacation in France right now, which is probably why his operation isn’t happening for a while.)

LuchaWorld has thoughts on the FantasticaMania shows.

Leviathan lost his mask and Mr. Rebelde lost his hair in Arena Queretaro.

Vengador Radioactivo had a good 2013, hopes 2014 is better.

CMLL video preview for Friday.
