Mamba is loca

recap

taped 2013-11-22 @ Plaza de Toros San Marcos, Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes
Faby Apache, Pasion Kristal, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Mamba, Taya Valkyrie, Yuriko: Really short match by AAA standards, and they decided to cut everything but the highspots. I think it was edited down even more from what it started out being, but it made it feel like not a lot more than the big spots. Yuriko goes out a winner (which may be why he decided this was the time to go.) Taya did not have a good day. Mamba is crazy.

worst giant swing

Monsther Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Dark Cuervo, Dark Scoria, Dark Spíritu: continued build to a Hijo del Tirantes/Psycho Clown match (which appears to be happening never.) Secta seemed like the brains were already in Japan – they’ve had better matches than this. I’m surprised Dorian Roldan still can book matches.

There is only 1 Jack Evans.

Angélico, Fénix, Jack Evans vs Hijo del Fantasma, Silver King, Texano Jr.: Not as smooth for the técnicos have been in other matches, especially early – the técnicos had a lot of ideas but the rudos weren’t really used to working with hem. It’s a switch from the Psycho Circus. No real mention of Fantasma dropping Fenix on his head back at Heroes Inmoratles. Guess it wasn’t important. Finish went too moves too long – they probably should called it a day after the piledriver, but had to get in more spots.

Cibernético, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, La Parka vs Daga, Parka Negra, Psicosis: a really dragged out angle of a match. Everyone was kind of fooling around until the angle started, and then it was really more about the ‘breakup’ than anything. Konnan possibly turning face seemed to be lost in the shuffle of many things going on. That and Zorro never actually doing anything in his run in makes more sense after the fact. Tough to get a read on Parka Negra because he didn’t have a lot to do outside of a martinete here.
