AAA Guerra de Titanes (& CMLL Sunday) results

Shows are over. Thanks for reading. I’ll be back with live results for at least one of the FantasticaMania shows should they air on iPPV, and maybe sooner if CMLL does an actual December show.

Results will be updated periodically thru the night.

CMLL’s show is finished.

CMLL (SUN) 12/08/2013 Arena Mexico
1) Herodes Jr. & Zayco b Metatrón & Oro Jr.
Rudos took 2/3 in a typical opening match which fell apart near the finish. Announcers said Leyenda de Plata was coming soon (which they did not seem to say on Friday.)
2) Boby Zavala, Hooligan, Sangre Azteca b Pegasso, Sensei, Stigma
Sensei replaced Starman. Rudos took 1/3 in a long match.
3) Blue Panther, Fuego, Sagrado b Misterioso Jr., Namajague, Puma
Fuego was announced on Monday as a replacement for Angel de Oro (injury). Tecnicos took 1/3 in a good match.
4) Diamante Azul b Dragón Rojo Jr. [lightning]
Azul won via German suplex in a thankfully quick match.
5) Máscara Dorada, Thunder, Valiente b Averno, Euforia, Tama Tonga
Tecnicos took 2/3, Dorada pinning Averno with the Gold Rush.
6) Máximo, Rush, Volador Jr. DQ Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
Tecnicos took 2/3. Volador mostly got along with his partners. Negro fouled Volador at the finish for the DQ, though it took a couple of tries.

AAA’s Guerra de Titans show will start at 8pm Central Time (7pm local.)  There is NO live stream/video/anything for the AAA show, only updates on Twitter and Facebook from AAA (and possibly other accounts.)

Jeff & Karen Jarrett’s flight was delayed – they were still in Houston as of 1:30. No idea why a main eventer is flying in internationally the day of “one of the biggest shows of the year. ” He still should make it plenty of time.

Show started late, as usual.

Exciting Octagon whining about now being booked.

AAA TV (SUN) 12/08/2013 Auditorio de la Gente, Tepic, Nayarit
***Guerra de Titanes, 2013***
1) Dinastía, Ludxor, Venum b El Apache, Machine Rocker, Mini Charly Manson
2) Angélico, Fénix, Jack Evans b Juventud Guerrera, Pentagón Jr., Steve Pain
Juvi replaced Eterno (injury). Fenix got the pin. Rudos attacked the tecnicso after the match, and Mexican Powers ran them off. Everyone danced.
3) Pimpinela Escarlata L Taya ValkyrieMambaJennifer BlakeFaby ApachePasion KristalYurikoSexy StarPolvo de Estrellas [cage, hair]
Mystery person was the returning Sexy Star. Polvo de Estrellas was also added to the match (as a fake out on the mystery person?) Last two were Mamba and Pimpi, with Sexy Star coming back in to stop Pimpi from leaving and getting out herself again. Mamba and Pimpi both bled, both tried to leave but were blocked. Mamba finally escaped and Pimpi lost his hair. Mamba avenged his mask loss to Pimpinela.
4) Blue Demon Jr. b Electroshock [AAA LA]
Blue Demon Jr. is champion and kept his title. First defense. Seconds were Aerostar and Fenix.
5) Monsther Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown b Hijo del Fantasma, Silver King, Texano Jr.[AAA TRIOS]
Psycho Circus are champions and kept the titles with Canadian Destroyers on Texano Jr. and Silver King. Third defense.
6) Cibernético, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, El Mesías, La Parka b Daga, Jeff Jarrett, Parka Negra, Psicosis
Mesias pinned Jeff Jarrett. Consejo attacked the tecnicos post match. Zorro faked making the save and turned rudo again. Consejo, Daga, Psicosis, Sexy Star, Dorian, Jeff Jarrett and possibly others are the latest iteration of La Sociedad.

wooooooo status quo. I guess Zorro turning is the big surprise, because a heel group that was already vaguely aligned It’s also a no confidence vote towards any of these getting over without Dorian and Konnan carrying the promos. They’re more or less in the same spot they finished 2012. That kind of year.

There may be some sense in making things very easy to follow in AAA US – Sociedad are the evil guys, everyone else are the good guys – but we really have no idea what of AAA Mexico is going to carry over into the other promotion. It very well may be nothing.

Full post whenever the official recap comes out.

One thought to “AAA Guerra de Titanes (& CMLL Sunday) results”

  1. Just looked at the photo that AAA posted of La Sociedad. Not one person posted, “Awesome, La Sociedad is back!”. It’s unanimously a bad idea. Dorian and Konnan are the biggest reason I don’t watch much AAA.
