Dinastía, Faby Apache, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Mamba, Mini Charly Manson, Taya Valkyrie: For a twelve minute match, it did not seem like it had as much as other mixed tag matches – the women were not in a lot, and the rudo section did not last long. Minis were good with the time they had but there was not a lot here.
Angélico, Australian Suicide, Jack Evans vs Daga, Psicosis, Steve Pain: The first couple minutes were totally fun and different with Daga & Jack Evans. The rest of the match was good too, just more in the vein of the other matches they’ve been doing with this técnico trio and I kind of got stuck day dreaming what it would be like if Daga and Jack actually got to have a singles match. That’s not the point here, just to continue to introduce Suicide (which seems be going well enough.) Suicide & Psicosis seemed a bad idea pairing to start but got better near the end.
Cibernético, El Mesías, Electroshock, La Parka vs Dark Cuervo, Dark Ozz, Dark Scoria, Dark Spíritu: La Secta against main eventers, and tread no different than the midcard geeks they’re set up to be. Normal AAA main event técnico showcase where the rudos did very little of note on offense and spent much more time selling. The match was built to give as much glory to the técnicos as possible, which doesn’t help an already nonthreatening rudo team to get over. Not quite sure why you need a distraction on a foul when it’s not a DQ for someone to run in and hit one of the participants with a chair. (Especially when they need a distraction for interference last week.)
Monsther Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Silver King, Texano Jr. in a cage match: a lucha libre cage match. They did some random spots, people climbed up, people climbed down, it ended and I was thrilled to move on with my life. It was probably as good as a cage match with nothing on the line was going to be, but that didn’t mean it did anything for me.
