1) Electro Boy & Fulgor II b Atomic Star & Sky Ángel
Electro’s first appearance on a main show since last September.
2) Fulgor I & Zurdog b Emperador Azteca & Látigo
Zurdog’s debut on a regular show. He’s been wrestling around Mexico City since 2010 and was on the last FILL show.
3) Dragón Celestial, Golden Magic, Mr. Leo b Alan Extreme, Ciclón Black, Guerrero Mixtico
The Neza rudos and Alan Extreme did not get along. Alan ended up helping the tecnicos win, only for the Neza rudos to attack him after.
4) Dr. Cerebro, Relámpago, Veneno b Carta Brava Jr., Eterno, Imposible
5) El Hijo del Medico Asesino & Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. b Trauma I & Trauma II
Wagner had some of his fingers taped (but might normally.) Team Hospital Children took the match in straight falls. Trauma II and Medico were beat in the second, and Wagner beat Trauma I to take it.

Thought there might not be results with out an IWRG website, but they’ve just posted them to their Facebook site. Main event seems to set up a tag title match, but there’s no hint of it in the results.

CMLL has a low voltage show following up last week’s major card. The main event has the TRT team of Terrible, (R) Vangelis and Tama Tonga facing Rush, Thunder and Sombra. It may be a preview of next week’s title match, but it’s odd to do that without tag champion La Mascara, who’s way down in the tercera. Dallys and Marcela refuse to stop having matches and meet in the segunda. The Terra main event is Mascara Dorada versus Niebla Roja, which should be pretty good if the recent Titan versus Niebla Roja match is any indication.

Sombra’s in the main event as a replacement for Marco Corleone, who revealed he’s been in the hospital all week due to a foot injury and will be out of action for a month more. He says he was working thru the pain for a while but developed an infection which made the situation much worse.

Aereo & Fantasy vs Pequeno Olimpico & Pequeno Nitro, and Stigma & Oro Jr. vs Disturbio & Bobby Zavala have been added to the Furor show at Arena Naucalpan on 11/17.

Hijo de Rey Misterio, Lizmark Jr., Villano III, Extreme Tiger, Laredo Kid and Leatherface have been added to the EAW tour.

Lucha Libre in Japan

10/25 NJPW: Valiente & BUSHI won their Super Juniors Tag Team Tournament quarterfinal over KUSHIDA & Yohei Komatsu. Valiente had a pretty crazy suit of white armor. They face Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov in the semifinals on 11/06. (Even though all were in CMLL, it’s appears to be the first time they’ve had a match against Valiente. )Valiente & BUSHI have a logical chance to make the final; the Young Bucks are probably winning the bracket, and NJPW may not want two completely foreign teams facing each other at the end of the tournament. (On the other hand, Romero & Koslov are regular enough here not to feel like outsiders. Grasping at straws!)

NJPW announced the plans for FantasticaMania 2014. They had said the events might be spread out thru Japan after the 2013 shows, which turns out to be the plan. It’s a five day tour in four different buildings in three different cities.

01/14: Osaka (Bodymaker Coliseum)
01/15: Kyoto (KBS Hall)
01/17: Tokyo (Shinkiba 1st Ring)
01/18: Tokyo (Korakuen Hall)
01/19: Tokyo (Korakuen Hall)
Tour runs from Tuesday to Sunday.

The shows have all been broadcast on SamuraiTV in the past, but then they’ve always been in Korakuen Hall in the past. I’d expect some of the shows not to be taped at all now that it’s a longer tour away from Tokyo. NJPW broadcasting iPPVs fairly frequently, so there’s a chance one of these will be live. The list of talent is the next thing to come out, but probably a while away.

Rocky Lobo & Flamita did wrestle in the opener of the Dragon Gate Prime Zone taping on 10/25. Show isn’t broadcast for a few weeks, so I won’t spoil anything besides noting it’s a short match.

  1. Just saw Valiente’s Suit of Armor, Oh My Goodness. BUSHI wearing the Valiente mask was cool though
