1) Dragón Celestial b Látigo
one fall
2) Alan Extreme, Fulgor I, Fulgore II b Emperador Azteca, Freelance, Seiya
Emperador Azteca’s main show debut (assuming it’s a new one, which it appears to be.)
3) Bugambilia, Diva Salvaje, Miss Gaviota b Carta Brava Jr., Rayan, Spartan [lumberjack]
4) Dinamic Black, Tony Rivera, Veneno DQ Apolo Estrada Jr., Eterno, Hijo de Máscara Año 2000
Tony Rivera back before in IWRG his students face the IWRG ones. Tecnicos took 2/3. Eterno fouled Dinamic Black, then challenged for any of Dinamic Black’s titles.
5) Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Pirata Morgan, Pirata Morgan Jr. b Negro Navarro, Trauma I, Trauma II [IWRG IC TRIOS]
Piratas took 2/3 to keep the titles. Hijo de Pirata and Trauma II double pinned. Recaps differ on the final finish, but it’s definite the Piratas cheated, putting Jr.’s foot on the ropes to escape one pin and maybe sneaking in a foul after. 3rd defense.

A win by the Navarros over the Piratas is almost always followed by a win by the Piratas over the Navarros, and vice versa.

Tonight’s CMLL show is headlined by an Ultimo Guerrero/Atlantis singles match, which exists just to build up their possible mask match on 09/13.The CMLL Universal tournament has more intrigue, because the outcome matters a bit and is not totally clear. This is the more balanced block. Next week’s group will come almost definitely come down to Sombra and Tanahashi, but everyone has a conceivable shot of going to the final. Terrible is last year’s year winner, CMLL clearly likes La Mascara & Mistico, Averno, Mascara Dorada, and Rey Escorpion are all great, and Rush is Rush. (Polvora is the exception.) Rush, beating Terrible in the final, appears to be the favorite but it would make some sense if one of the guys left off the Anniversary show (like Dorada or Mistico) got to be in a big match the week prior as a makeup.

The mystery person in IWL’s 3rd Anniversary main event appears to be ex-ECW/WWE Justin Credible based on the info and photo. The 09/14 main event is LA Park vs Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Caenk vs Justin Credible. IWL never disappoints in the weirdness.  IWL also says they’ll be broadcasting the Mayweather/Canelo fight in the building. Presumably after their show, but I should make no such assumptions with IWL.

Last nights Tercera Caida had interviews with Guerrero Maya Jr., Arkangel, Isis and Black Terry (on the phone) to hype the ChilangaMask show this weekend.

Pierrothito, Mascara Celestial, and Caveman hype the lucha libre show in New York this weekend. Mascara Celestial says he raised $5000 to run the show, which is a cheaper than I would’ve guess it would’ve cost (especially since they’re flying in Shocker, Rey Bucanero, Marcela and Amapola.) No new info on the mystery of Pierrothito leaving CMLL.

Eita, Tomahawk and Yuta debuted back in Dragon Gate Japan today. Dragon Gate hasn’t announced upcoming lineups, but it appears they’re back home permanently.

Rob has highlights of 07/07/13 AAA.

Lolita & Cuervo are listed for an 08/30 show in Altamira, the same day they’re (more likely) on the Arena Naucalpan taping.

Psycho Clown says Texano doesn’t want to fight him because he’s afraid to face anyone from his own generation.

Faby Apache wants nothing more to do with Cuervo, wants to forget what happened to her in Gimnasio Juan de la Barrera, and wants Cuervo not talk to her on the Arena Naucalpan taping.

Cronicas Y Leyendas looks back at the difference in blood usage between EMLL and UWA and has strong dislike for the La Parka vs Cibernetico mask match.

Super Astro and the Mendozas are among those part of a movement to build a sports medicine hospital.

Ares, Mamba and Impulso will have a three way for the XMW championship at Arena Ichiban next weekend.

The Lourdes Grobet photo exhibition is now in Costa Rica.

Kcidis has an Ultimo Guerrero Facebook cover photo.
