Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Thunder vs Felino, Mr. Niebla, Pierroth: Lived down to expectations. An ill considered mixing of luchadors; a lot of these guys need better people to play off of, and we instead get Pierroth and Thunder treating each other badly. Crowd didn’t even seem to be in to Niebla as much as usual (and I’m kind of bored with Niebla and especially Felino right now.) This should’ve been a better match for a big show.
Máscara Dorada, Mistico, Valiente vs Euforia, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.: I’m hitting the point too hard, but of the four matches to air from this major show, this is the only one that felt like a match at a more important match by the way the guys work it. Part of it that the Estetas are so new that the stuff like the three straight dive bit hasn’t gotten familiar. (It’s also very good.) They also seemed to just go farther int his match. Interesting that extra large crowd was less behind Místico than the smaller regular fans; the whole idea behind Místico II is the casual fans who make up the difference will not mind the change of the person behind the mask, but it didn’t seem to be the case here.
