Diamante, Sagrado, Tritón vs Namajague, Puma, Shigeo Okumura:Okay match for the first couple falls that got really good in the third with very complicated back and forth sequences. Puma remains Namajague’s best partner. Sagrado had some Sagrado moments, but Diamante looked better than usual and Triton was on. I wonder if Triton’s killer senton is the source of Namajague’s injury; it looked brutal and Namajague appeared to be outside and hurting after the match It would also explain why the Arena Coliseo Tag title match was not what it was expected to be if Namajague was going in hurt.
Atlantis, Máscara Dorada, Mistico vs Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero: Mascara Dorada is great. Way quick match as if they had to get out of there right away. Even the post match was quick, with the técnicos immediately leaving. Mascara Dorada looked great in the time he got, while Místico was up and down (and helped a lot by Euforia). Atlantis was barely in but he and UG still were the focus in the end.
I didn’t even connect the dots on the Coliseo Tag Title match being disappointing with this match. (probably b/c it aired 6 days later)
Thought the opener was going great and well on it’s way to being a high-end match for me until things started to fall apart near the end with Puma dropping Triton on the planned finish & Diamante being Diamante. The effort was there though.
Watching Mascara Dorada is a privelage.
