Dragon Bomb

recap

taped 2013-06-14 @ Arena Mexico

they’ve had better timing

Rey Cometa vs Dragón Rojo Jr. in a lightning match: Match was alright a while and then not too strong in the last couple minutes. I’m not smart enough to know if Cometa is being treated badly by losing in lightning matches or being treated positively by getting to be in the mix with Dragon Rojo & Escorpion. (He’s on the same level as Liger!)  I do think he’d have better luck with Pólvora. No one really has good luck with Dragon Rojo

Namajague german suplex

Bushiroad, Guerrero Maya Jr., Tritón vs Boby Zavala, Namajague, Puma: Fun midcard match. Zavala, Puma and Namajague worked great together as a rudo trio; Puma and Namajague seem to have teamed a lot and Zavala works well with anyone. Bushiroad also completely fits with the guys on the level, working as well with the Mexicans and the Japanese. Triton and Maya had good matches as well. Nothing extraordinary but a pleasing TV match

clothesline into the void

Máximo, Rush, Shocker vs Mr. Águila, Rey Bucanero, Rey Escorpión: Okay, though sloppy at parts. Aguila seemed to be on a different planet than his teammates at times which made things less than smooth, but they still got the feuding bits over. Rey Escorpion and Rush is a very good matchup, and Rush’s post match antics were fun.
