Navarros vs Clowns, Heavy Metal for the Mega championship

IWRG (SUN) 04/14/2013 Arena Naucalpan [Black Terry Jr. (flickr), Estrellas del Ring]
1) Cristal, Saruman, Seiya b Alan Extreme, Diosa Maya, Fulgor
Diosa Maya replaced La Hielera.
2) Canis Lupus, Carta Brava Jr., Imposible b Black Terry, Centvrión, Golden Magic
Black Terry replaced Dinamic Black. Impossible was hurt in the first fall, but the rudos won anyway.
3) Astro Rey Jr., Chico Che, Veneno b Fresero Jr., Polvo de Estrellas, Yuriko
Fresero Jr., not an exotico, replaced Pasion Kristal.
4) Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown DQ Negro Navarro, Trauma I, Trauma II
Psycho faked a foul to draw the DQ in the first, and Trauma II did the same in the third to get the win. Psycho Circus demanded a rematch and the Navarros accepted provided it be a trios title match.
5) Danny Casas, Heavy Metal, Toscano b Eterno, Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano Jr.
Tecnicos took 2/3. Eterno and Danny feuded, both bleeding. Heavy Metal beat Texano in the third with a casita and asked for a Mega title shot. Texano accepted. Danny asked for a hair match against Eterno. Eterno did not accept.

Results haven’t turned up for the Toryumon and DTU shows from the weekend. From Black Terry Jr.’s pictures, it looks like Tomahawk, Eita and Flamita (!) turned on CIMA in Tulancingo. CIMA mentions on his blog that new kid Yuta debuted in Arena Aficion as a replacement. Meanwhile, Negro Casas appears to have kept the NWA Welterweight Championship over Ultimo Dragon.

AAA tapes tonight in Leon, the first of two tapings in six days. The main event of TripleMania is set, but they should start to indicate the rest of the card. The main event is Blue Demon & Mesias vs LA Park & Texano Junior. Mesias seems due a shot at the title (skipping past the one he’s getting on the WWL Puerto Rico show this weekend) and a rematch with Texano originally seemed like the most likely AAA Mega championship match for Rey de Reyes.  That was before Blue Demon got the non-title win over Texano in Naucalpan, which seems to mean he’ll still be around. Maybe they’re headed to a three way title match? A four way title match since LA Park has nothing better to do?

The Mirreyes debut in the fourth match. The Perros (with Perro Jr.) face La Secta (without Cibernetico) in a brawl that looks like it’ll end as poorly for Cuervo’s team as the Naucalpan match ended for him. The current women’s and minis feuds keep going, and the Rockers continue to alternate between facing a flying team and facing the Psycho Circus. It’s a flying team tonight.

Rob has highlights of 01/20/2007 AAA, 05/20/2007 AAA, 03/01/13 Fusion

Rey Demonio Jr. was unmasked by his brother Golden Boy in Arena el Jaguar.

Volador Jr. may be auctioning off one of his outfits to help pay for his father’s knee surgery.

  1. I like the idea behind Laredo Kid’s promotion, of having a more family friendly. Hopefully it goes well.

  2. Laredo Kid? That’s some interesting news!

  3. @Groden: Laredo Kid has been back in Laredo, wrestling on both sides of the border on local shows.

Mistico vs Ultimo Guerrero may air on the CMLL Guadalajara show which popped back up two weekends from now, but it’s not sure thing when the show is just back from hiatus.
