AULL (SUN) 03/24/2013 Arena Lopez Mateos [Estrellas del Ring]
1) Rey Kaleph & Ukonen vs Antheus & Black Panther
2) King Dragon & Metal Dragon b Discordia & Rey Inmortal
3) Casi Muerto, Decadente, Psicópata b Ángel de la Noche, Mr. Flama, Rey Krystal
Recap says Psicópata won this pretty much by himself.
4) Cerebro Maligno, Herejía, Judas el Traidor, Sepulturero I b Chucho el Roto, Iron Love, Olimpus, Yakuza
Sepulturero replaced Rey Krimen and didn’t get along with his partners, but they won anyway to set up a tag team title match.
5) Aeroboy, Dement Extreme, Paranoiko, Violento Jack b Epitafio, Leviatham, Samael, Tormento
Team DTU used weapons when things weren’t going that way, including giving the referee a chair shot to the face. They took the match strongly, seemed to set up another rematch.
6) Negro Navarro, Trauma I, Trauma II b Hijo de Black Man, Hijo de Kendo, Kung Fu Jr.
Nuevo Fantasticos lost when Negro submitted Hijo de Black Man. Black Man challenged Negro Navarro to a match next Sunday.

And they’re actually doing it next Sunday – Negro and the Diabolicos vs the Fantasticos and the tag team title match. Week to week follow up in Arena Lopez Mateos is unusual but neat.

CMLL (MON) 03/25/2013 Arena Puebla [Communcate Digital, El Popular, Porra Fresa]
Attendance: 1900
1) Asturiano & Milenium b Akron & Blue Center
Tecnicos took 1/3. Asturiano gave Center a crazy legdrop to the floor late.
2) Camaleón & Stigma b Artillero & Taurus
Tecnicos took 1/3. Stigma submitted Taurus.
3) Cancerbero, Raziel, Virus b Hooligan, Nitro, Skándalo
Tuareg jumped the Cancerberos, but they rallied back to take falls 2/3. Virus submitted Skandalo for the win. Virus challenged the Tuareg to a cage match next week.
4) Dragón Rojo Jr. & Máximo b Diamante Azul, Euforia, Namajague, Rey Bucanero, Hijo del Fantasma, Mistico [seeding battle royal]
usual seeding battle royal
5) Mistico & Último Guerrero b Felino & Hijo del Fantasma [torneo increible de parejas, eightfinal]
6) Rey Bucanero & Shocker b Namajague & Stuka Jr. [torneo increible de parejas, eightfinal]
Stuka & Namajague did not get along.
7) Euforia & Super Porky b Diamante Azul & Psicosis [torneo increible de parejas, eightfinal]
Rush had been originally announced, but was replaced by Super Porky.
8) Máximo & Mephisto b Dragón Rojo Jr. & La Máscara [torneo increible de parejas, eightfinal]
9) Mistico & Último Guerrero b Rey Bucanero & Shocker [torneo increible de parejas, quarterfinal]
Mistico dropkicked UG thanks to a quick move by Bucanero, Ultimo Guerrero broke up a Mistico pin in revenge, and Shocker & Bucanero rolled them up for the pins. Bucanero & Shocker were working as rudos.
10) Máximo & Mephisto b Euforia & Super Porky [torneo increible de parejas, quarterfinal]
Maximo didn’t want to fight his dad, but Porky encouraged him to fight for the people.
11) Rey Bucanero & Shocker b Máximo & Mephisto [torneo increible de parejas, semifinal]
Shocker beat Maximo with an armbar to win the tournament. They move on to face Atlantis & Volador Jr. next week.

I could not have been more wrong about this prediction. Bucnaero & Shocker vs Volador & Atlantis is a strange weird match up. Wonder if they’re setting up a Bucanero title match somehow. It is nice to see Shocker & Rey Bucanero working well as a team after their great failure as one a long time ago.

Not sure if we’re meant to take the cage match challenge seriously.

DTU held a press conference to introduce the two foreign wrestlers for it’s upcoming shows. Both Willie Mack and AR Fox were on delayed flights and did not arrive until after the press conference was over. Oh well. Crazy Boy explained his new CB2 logo – he’s back as Crazy Boy Squared – and said they’d be bringing in more foreign luchadors “despite the high cost to hire them and bring them in” to differentiate themselves from groups who keep using the same people. Juvi and Crazy Boy also talked up their Alto Impacto style. DTU’s not getting rid of extreme matches – Violento Jack is on this tour – but it does seem like they’re focusing less on the Ultraviolent aspect. Black Terry Jr. has photos from the press conference.

CMLL Gaceta hypes tonight’s Arena Mexico show as Mr. Aguila wants Shocker’s hair. Those two have been feuding on Tuesdays and Fridays, and it’s just unclear if it’s meant to be a trios feud on Tuesday. Aguila is teaming his fellow national trios champions, Kraneo & Psicosis against Shocker, Valiente and Angel de Oro.  It works out better to do that title match next week if it’s happening with these teams, since Valiente would just be getting back from Japan the following Tuesday.

CMLL has video of the post match from this past Friday’s Ultimo Guerrero vs Atlantis match.

AAA’s Twitter says they’re taping in Ciudad Madero on 05/24. The Tampico local promoter previously said they’d be taping on that date, and Tampico and Ciudad Madero are neighboring cities.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Lineups

IWRG (SUN) 03/31/2013 Arena Naucalpan
1) Ángel Del Amor & Seiya vs Eita & Tomahawk
2) Carta Brava Jr. vs Centvrión, Mr. Leo, Fulgore, Power Bull [IWRG IC MIDDLE, #1 Contenders]
five match fighters. Winner gets a shot at El Angel.
3) Dinamic Black, Dr. Cerebro, Veneno vs Black Terry, el Ángel, Scorpio Jr.
4) Eterno & X-Fly vs Cien Caras Jr. & Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 and Trauma I & Trauma II and Danny Casas & Heavy Metal

Heavy Metal has appeared on many of the AAA TV tapings in Arena Naucalpan, but this is his first appearance on a regular IWRG show since the end of 2007. The main event is family tag teams (Familia de Tijuana, Dinamitas family , Navarros and Casas Family)

Angel just turned rudo, so it would make more sense for him to be facing a tecnico. Centvrion, last seen posting sad messages on Twitter, looks to have a good chance unless there’s something else going on.

Toryumon MEXICO (SUN) 04/14/2013 Sala de Armas Magdalena Mixhuca
1) Sangre Imperial & Sangre Latina vs Angel Del Infierno & Kratoz
2) Barbye Anyma vs Bastet
3) Demus 3:16 & Pequeño Nitro vs Astral & Shockercito
4) Dowki & Hanaoka vs Celestick I & Celestick II [super libre]
rematch of January’s Copa Dragon final
5) Brazo de Platino, Hijo del Fantasma, Magnus vs Akuma 3:16, Herodes Jr., Hijo del Signo
6) Último Dragón vs Negro Casas [NWA WELTER]
Negro Casas is champion. Will be his attempt at a sixth defense if no defense prior.

I should know better, but I’m interested in that main event. The last Negro Casas/Ultimo Dragon title match was in 1994.

This is the title (more or less) that used to be defended in Toryumon and held by Dragon prior to that, in case you’re looking for ways this match might end in cleanly.
