a table breaking like it’s supposed to in AAA match!

Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Devil Rocker, Machine Rocker, Soul Rocker: a very short match for the first encounter between these two teams and a surprisingly definitive end. That’s not how AAA usually does these things, though ‘rudo loses, immediately lay out the técnicos after the match’ is very usual. This felt more like the last match of the feud, or just TV filler, up until that post match run-in.

Jeff Jarrett came all the way to GDL just to do this

Cibernético vs Vampiro, Dr. Wagner Jr., LA Park, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Chessman in a cage match: Here’s the rule we’re going with – if you can get me in and out of your AAA cage match in 15 minutes or less, I will say it’s okay. Maybe I still remember the merciless 30+ minute Mesías cage matches of times past, but these don’t overstay their welcome at this length. This was by no means good – it was just moves to kill time, few real teases of escape that weren’t actually escapes, and chaotic run-ins that didn’t really add anything (Perros/Bizarros.) Still, that’s okay by AAA cage match standards. This match greatly different from reality – what was said to be about 12 minute Vampiro/Chessman sequence appeared went for 2.5 here – but those are minutes of my life that I’ll have to do other things, and I am thankful for that. Maybe Chessman shouldn’t be thankful, since he’s had a fall of the cage missed by cameras and a moonsault off the top of a cage clipped out in the space of six months, but Chessman’s got to learn someday.
