Ángel de Oro, Hijo del Fantasma, Stuka Jr. vs Bobby Zavala, Cancerbero, Raziel: standard trios match with the wrinkles of Zavala being included with different people and the start of the latest Arena Coliseo Tag feud. Zavala fit in fine here, maybe better than they expected, and did well for himself given the opportunity. The rudos hate for Stuka came out of nowhere and seems random, not a particular setup. Fantasma and Angel de Oro have their set trios match and will work it every single time.

Atlantis, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Psicosis: noticeably significantly shorter than it aired live. Not much of a match remains, but it still got the point across well. Poor Maya was destroyed twice in this match. Psicosis senton on the end looked not fun for Atlantis too. The eventual title match should be pretty good.

Terrible vs La Sombra for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship: a good match proving they could have a better one. The action was good, and the crowd was totally invested into the third fall nearfalls. Sombra remains the most certain técnico to get cheered over rudos in key CMLL matches; the rudo fans just gave up on the Terrible chant early and opted to just try and shout down the Sombra one. Sombra and Terrible either had communication issues, or one guy (which seemed to be Terrible) forgot what the other guy was doing next at least one per fall. That’s very odd to see out of two guys who’ve been in the same promotion for as long as they have, but maybe they just haven’t worked against each other as much as we’d think. It was also weird to see Sombra shelve everything but his flying and roll ups here. I know the idea is Terrible is a much bigger man, but all the muscle Sombra has added over the last two years should allow him to lift Terrible at least a little bit. I liked this, but I want a rematch.
