Sagrado vs Pólvora in a lightning match: weird watching this directly after Rey Escorpion vs La Máscara, because so many of the same spots. It’s the CMLL generic técnico offense from two guys who stick with it, that’s kind of a larger problem. These two worked fast to get in their entire match in 10 minutes, and actually had plenty of time left over. It was also about the level you’d expect from these two.
Dark Angel, Goya Kong, Marcela vs Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Tiffany: Normal women’s match. I was really excited to see a match out of this, but that match is Amapola and Dark Angel, not the one they’re doing. Marcela and Tiffany were fine, but the focus is more on Tiffany versus the refs. Tiffany had a pinfall win here, Marcela was believable done after the fierce looking Buca Storm, but she never actually wins a match in this feud.
Atlantis, Marco Corleone, Máximo vs Kráneo, Morphosis, Psicosis: another okay match, though the crowd really seemed to enjoy this one. Heavy on the Marco, Máximo and Kraneo comedy and the usual Invasors failing. After the really good chokeslams the last few weeks, I want to see a Marco/Kraneo match just to see what would happen.
