Milenio has an interview with Super Porky – am I correct when I read that he says he’s got three sons wrestling? Porky explains he can’t lose weight, because than he’d look ugly.

El Halcon is celebrating it’s 2nd anniversary.
So Saturday, when CMLL updated it’s news, and half of the update was “Dark Angel was really hot last night”, I just assumed they were also stretching to find something to talk about off of Friday’s show. And then I saw the pictures in Super Luchas and decided “Dark Angel was really hot last night” should’ve been the lead story. She had new gear, which appears to be a skin tight speed skating outfit, and it’s completely unfair. It’s a bitter disappointment that CMLL.com hasn’t gotten pictures from that show up yet so I could share them here. (You can see it in the Super Luchas preview.)
That would be the Canadian bobsled team outfit. Seriously.

Yeah, it looked pretty nuts. Explosivo is one of those guys who seems to be ignored and overlooked on the undercard. Partly because he disappears for a while every now and again, but probably also because all you ever see him doing is a 450 splash and a tame springboard plancha on Momentos. But from the photos, that somersault plancha he hit looked more like an assisted version, such was the height he got – would have looked pretty spectacular no doubt.
And speaking of forgotten opening match guys, Meteorix should be about due back soon i would imagine too. That injury he was put out with must’ve been the best part of a year ago.
I can’t wait to see Caligula, Messala and Molotov – CMLL really need to stick to this current format fr Tv, or at least ensure the Coliseo segunda always airs and it’s filled with the guys we’ve seen over the past few weeks with maybe some of the opening guys getting moved up now and again. Missing the Arena Mex tercera to air it is not ideal (last fridays looked pretty neat from the videos), but at least we see the guys in that spot pretty regularly anyway.

It’s not like it gets used for anything anyway – probably just kept in an archive for a year or two then recorded over! – they can only say yay or nay! :)

I think CMLL produces its shows now, not Televisa, so I’m not sure if Televisa would have the tapes of the unaired matches. I think maybe the guys at “Tepito” might eventually get those tapes if there was some demand for those, which doesn not exists.
The other alternative would be commercial releases, but I wouldn’t like that, I’m not a big fan of changing a sucessfull business model.
