Lluvia, Luna Mágica, Silueta vs La Seductora, Lady Afrodita, Tiffany : This got way too much time, especially since they could do so very little with it. The only person who seemed to know what they were doing and cared to do it was Silueta. I really wish she was in a better match. Lady Afrodita cosplaying as Ray loses quite a bit when she starts wrestling. Luna Mágica seems only interested in kicking the new girl repeatedly. Lluvia’s proof that not everyone who goes to Japan comes back better. This was a cure for insomnia.
Ángel Azteca Jr., Hombre Bala Jr., Titán vs Cancerbero, Raziel, Virus : In a recap a little while back, I suggested Bala was ready to go face the Cancbereors. This match seemed to prove me wrong! He wasn’t that bad, but he was clearly a step below his teammates even before he got hurt. Still, maybe a dozen more of these matches will help. It sure seems to help Titan, who looks like a world beater when he’s in there with Cancerbero. Those two match up weirdly well, but then who doesn’t look good with these rudos?
Hijo del Fantasma, Super Porky, Valiente vs Ephesto, Euforia, Mephisto : Very truncated, possible due to a women’s match going way too long, and possibly due to a certain aged wrestler not being built for longer matches. This was a whole lot of Porky (yea, I know) and not much of Valiente, but Valiente did make an impact in the little time he had. That was as hard a tope as it gets. I think someone should build a time machine, travel back about a year, and tell Fantasma that if he does that lariat ever match, people are going to stop caring about it.
Diamante Azul, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada vs Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Psicosis : fine enough main event with the random foul finish. Psicosis is the kind of guy who could lose immediately after signaling he was going for his big move. The crowd is not accepting Diamante Azul yet and was very ready to boo him at the first slip up he made.
