Dalis la Caribeña, Marcela, Silueta vs Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sugheit: A better than average collection of women, but they seemed slightly off at points. Better than the Amapola/Estrellita stuff but not good by this division’s standards.
Black Warrior, Fuego, Titán vs Cancerbero, Niebla Roja, Virus: This was a lot of fun. Titan and Virus is a fun matchup and the other four guys were good. Really disappointing we’re not getting Virus/Titan next week on TV, and any time soon with Titan in the tournament. This was not the best of Warrior but he was did enough. It’s impassive that Niebla Roja has a whole new set of moves, except it’s tough to recall any trademark moves he had prior besides the backwards campana finish.
Ángel de Oro, Marco Corleone, Shocker vs Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Rey Escorpion: This was a lot of Negro Casas taking a sudden interest in pushing Angel de Oro to get better and a random bit of angry Marco Corleone towards Mr. Nibela Angry Marco Corleone was more compelling (in that was totally scary), but Angel de Oro held his own. He’s got a month more to get coached up.
Rey Bucanero vs Máximo for the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship: Total formula, but they add a few different things. That figure four tumble out of the ring looked harsh, the multiple tope spot worked well. Finish was a bit odd with Bucanero using Máximo’s move to win, but maybe they weren’t comfortable with the Buca Storm. The Guadalajara match was more fun’ Máximo didn’t seem to be as to it this time.
