  1. Some corrections on the AAA that aired this past week. It was Super Porky & Brazo de Plata Jr. vs. Alan Stone & Scorpio Jr. Bull Terrier match. That was actually third match with the Viper Revolucion match being #4. Also, it was Elix Skipper in the match and not Abyss.

  2. Also, Oriental was in the opener. I could see why you had the lineup because it was the original one, and not revised due to Abyss no-show and Intocable getting taken out in the taping before by an Alan Stone Martinete

  3. Chui mentioned to me the top 4 AULL matches aired (I think).

IWRG is always hard to find out and you can’t even make a guess b/c according to recent Fredo listings – out of nowhere one week they aired a Sunday show from Arena Naucalpan who hasn’t been done in years. It’s always either Thursday Naucalpan, Sunday Neza or a random little show in a tiny city.

Chui also told me what aired on Monterrey but I’ll leave it to him to explain.;)

  4. The AULL show should’ve been the full show, the minis opener was one fall, I saw that and the segunda’s first caida and half of the second, so, unless the second match had an incredibly long third fall, they should’ve aired this show in full.

Monterrey… well, they use 2 days to air lucha, but on Friday, there was a boxing show in Torreon that got broadcasted live over here, so the Mty stuff was not aired, and on Saturday they aired a show from La Fe Music Hall that I’ve not seen listed. Main event had a 10 men elimination tag cibernetico with the top 5 Mty guys taking the rest of the world represented by 5 unknown gringos… well 4 and Psicodelico Jr.

While here in la Laguna we would have Ultimo Guerrero, Blue Panther, Dr Wagner Jr, LA Park and a long list of guys who could be #5 like Silver King, Pimpinela, Hooligan, Misterioso II, etc, the top Mty guys turned out to be, Latin Lover, Hector Garza, Konnan Big, Pancho Tequila and Humberto Garza Jr, who won this thing…

Problem with the show is that the place is a dance club, not an arena, so you had the ring but on the edge of the building, on an elevated stage that groups would use, but made it nearly impossible to do dives in that directions, since a double fall would surely kill most trying it. And then, it was badly lit, there was no heat at all, and it had every kind of problem you might guess they won’t ever try to do this again, but, in fact, they’ve been doing this for a while. Actually, it is likely that Latin Lover’s run at Arena Coliseo came under competition from this building, since he’s been working here as well, and the shows are held on the same night. Latin and the Garzas have been doing double shots.

AAA GALA Mx had the Salamanca taping:

AAA TV (SUN) 10/22 Plaza de Toros Pepeillo Martinez, Salamanca Results
    1) Rossy Moreno, Tiffany DQ Estrellita, Fabi Apache
    2) Barba Roja, Drake, Pirata Morgan Jr. b Alan, Billy Boy, Decnnis
    3) Mascara Divina, Oriental b Chris Stone, Hator [AAA MIDDLE TAG, qf, torneo]
    4) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider b Espiritu, Scoria [AAA MIDDLE TAG, qf, torneo]
    5) Angel, Elegido, Laredo Kid, Zorro DQ Antifaz, Charly Manson, Histeria, Pirata Morgan
    6) Alan Stone, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido b Intocable, La Parka Jr., Super Porky

Pirata subbed for the no showing Abismo Negro, at the time, there was some speculation that Abismo might be jumping… wonder if he has show up in AAA since then? Wouldn’t it be cool if Mini Abismo had subbed for big Abismo?

  5. Oh, lucha has been hitting the streets (not legally of course), although it is mostly PPVs, including the Sept 29, and mostly WWE stuff, but maaaaaaaybe IWRG could surface. I doubt it because with so many free lucha shows airing, it wouldn’t make sense, but one never knows.

  6. Thanks for the corrections!

I believe that Monterrey show was

indy (SUN) 11/05 La Fe Music Hall
    1) La Pulga & Ricochet vs Corazon Adictio I & Corazon Adictio II
    2) Burro & Mini Burro vs Borrico & Mini Hator
    3) Angel Negro vs Angel del Amor [FILL JR WELTER]
    4) ?, Black Dragon, Dulce Poly, Galactico, Hector Garza, Humbero Garza Jr., Konnan Big, Latin Lover, Pancho Tequila vs Brett Barnes & Mike Foxx

Though I know the main event isn’t listed right.

Dave Meltzer is saying Abismo is suspended for no-showing events. Which is always a weird punishment – “you didn’t show up, so we’re not letting you show up!”

  7. IWRG AIRS MONDAY 20 TH A SPECIAL EVENT FROM DEPORTIVO REYNOSA AT MEXICO CITY …

I think that would be the buildup to the show they aired last saturday. Words are not enough to express what MM aired, so if anyone wants to take a look:

    http://rudopolis.atspace.com/2k6/h2k6/femh.html

Viewer discretion adviced, put the mouse pointer over the image to see the clip.

  9. Why does IWRG insist on taping these shows in the middle of nowhere with the same generic cards? I love Mistico so the more matches the better but I want TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURBO matches NOW!

Doesn’t MTY only have 1 hour of TV so there’d only be time for 2/3 matches anyways? That video clip makes me cry.

  10. Multimedios actually airs lucha on Fridays from 10 to 12 PM, but local channel only airs the second hour here in Torreon, and on Saturdays, it is from 9:30 to 11:00. There are times when they air the same stuff on both time slots, and at times they would air the 4 Sunday matches on Fridays and 3 Martes Nice matches on Saturdays.

Multimedios owns another channel in MTY that at times has aired lucha, or at least, I know that the 50th anniversary show was aired live on that channel.

Ironically, this migth be the only lucha which gets released officially/profesionally, since Multimedios sells DVDs with their programming on it. Ironically because there are much better lucha to be offered elsewhere.
