recap

Possibly the last of this show for the time being? Some good stuff slipped thru, though not as much as other shows.

immense effort by La Braza

Fabi Apache, La Braza, Lolita vs Jennifer Blake, Sexy Star, Yuriko: Braza is the worse. There are good people in here and there are people who are not very good, but El Brazo or La Braza was terrible. He’s been compared to his brother Super Porky a million times, the same guy but less charisma. It’s still true, and Super Porky’s very bad, which doesn’t leave much for Braza. The drop from Casandro to La Braza is immense and painful. It’s not the gimmick, it’s the lack of ability. This was a very basic and otherwise fine mixed match. The only people who care about La Braza now saw him at the height of the trio; maybe they need to do more reminding people who he used to be, because any new person would be totally baffled as to why they’re seeing him now.

snake eyes, from two table away

Joe Lider vs Nicho el Millionario in a street fight match: Even for Joe Lider, Joe Lider was a mightily unsafe professional luchador this night. I would rather have a match with someone who hits you very hard but knows what they’re doing than someone who has no idea what they’re doing and not particular concern for your safety. This was plenty of stuff that was more painful then it actually looked, because Lider in particular did such a bad job of it. I did not miss seeing the rest of this.

I didn't know Monster Clown was Mongolian.

Súper Fly & Zorro vs Octagón & Tito Santana: Could not figure out how this went so long. Only barely know now. Octagon is actually worse as a rudo than técnico, because now all the hidden bits about him doing not actually doing anything in matches are his whole character and exaggerated any more. This was not any good.

double spear

Chessman, Decnnis, Último Gladiador vs Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown: Picked up for me as it went along. Maniacos & Chessman are really good opposition for the Psycho Clowns (and everyone.) A 15 minute match that felt like it should be that long.
