CMLL (FRI) 10/13 Arena Mexico Results [ocampo, ova]

Mascara got carried out after a bad dive.
4) Dos Caras Jr., Groon XXX, Rey Bucanero DQ Kenzo Suzuki, Shocker, Universo 2000
Differing reports if Kenzo or Shocker caused the DQ in the final fall. Shocker wants a title match versus Rey.
5) Hiroka b Lady Apache [hair]
holy carp! It was a total screwy finish, for sure – after changing the referees mid match, the one in at the end missed La Nazi reversing a pinfall to put Hiroka on top, and that got the win – but any loss is a loss when it means you lose your hair. Post match, Marcela challenged Hiroka to her own hair match, but Hiroka only wants title matches at the moment.
6) Black Warrior, Olimpico, Ultimo Guerrero DQ Heavy Metal, Mistico, Volador Jr.
Warrior pulls Mistico’s mask, of course.

This proves I know nothing, as if there were any doubts. Lady Apache is great.

  1. WOOHOOO!!! Thank you for a change GdR – Last weeks Arena Mex main event !! :D

    Shitty Coliseo match to go for, but never mind – last weeks main was all i was caring about.

    Fortunately we’re not really missing very much from last Sundays Coliseo show, although this sundays show looks good, so i hope it’s back to 4 coliseo matches over the 2 shows next week.

    Last nights segunda apparently went around 17 minuters and could have been good. The main went a little over 10 which is not so good, but with all involved, it should still rock.

    I hope they go with Shocker V Rey – and if they could somehow book it to give a Hitman/Austin-esque double turn, it would be all the better.

  2. I guess this means CMLL will be back to normal (matches from last night) today, if there was any doubt.

    I have a sinking feeling that the top 3 will air (women’s match and the main are locks especially since they hyped the women last week), but maybe they’ll switch out the Groon match… The tercera isn’t fantastic or anything but I’d easily take it over Groon and Kenzo in the ring together.

    On the flipside, Sunday Arena Coliseo sucks! (outwith the especial). They should tape Tuesdays awesome lineup this week instead!

    Surely they’ll be able to air 4 matches instead of the usual 3 when one of them was one-fall and sub-10 minute!

    If they’re including the womens match, 3 matches in 1:45hrs would be scandalous!

  8. That’s the way it goes these days.:( So much wasting of time. I mean, the Coliseo match just ended and we’re 33 minutes into the show. The match itself went no longer than 10/11 minutes. That’s 21 wasted minutes. Or well… 19… b/c this week while the announcers did the intro, we got to watch the mini’s match in the background.:D

  9. I love(read: hate) how CMLL will do huge angles that only apply to one match. Tigre Hispano has been ref forever and never shown any heel tendencies. All of a sudden, Lady Apache wants him thrown out of the match for being an unfair ref. What do you wanna bet he returns for the main event as a clean tecnico ref?

    Momentos was PPV replays.

  10. It’s official… nobody who books CMLL has any brains.

    They change refs… so Babe Richard takes over… are we supposed to forget he was heel in the Parka/Wagner feud? Then Nazi interferes and he ignores it. Nazi even catches dives which I guess is legal for a second to do now. Marcela fights with Nazi and they aren’t sent away from ringside like the Dark Angel/Amapola match. Marcela starts catching dives also. Babe Richard threatens to send Marcela to the back b/c of her interference in catching a dive.

    The finish is a classic… Apache does the move she did to win on the PPV and Richard WATCHES La Nazi pull her backwards so Hiroka is on top. He also sees that Apache is in the ropes as the pin happens but counts anyways.

    So Lady Apache, who requested Richard be the referee, got screwed over by him in the end.

    Lady Apache + CMLL bookers = geniuses.
