1) John Revell b Medianoche
Revell is a giant muscle dude. Squash. Revell took MediaNoche’s mask. Super Nova tried to make the save, was fought off.
2) Oriental & Tinieblas Jr. b PR Flyer & San Juan Kid
two mystery men in black outfits with
3) Marco Corleone DQ Sydistiko
Rellik & Lizmark ran in for the DQ. Shane Helms debuted making the save.
4) Magno b RJ Brewer [hair]
built up on the last set of tapings. Brewer had Petey Williams and Lizzy Valentine with him, and won the match with a chain punch. Referee noticed the chain and restarted the match. Brewer tried to run out on the stip, but Rocky Romero cut him off and returned him for the haircut.
5) Petey Williams b Charly Malice
Brewer helped give Petey the win.
6) John Revell b Magno
Revell joined the Petey/RJ/Lizzy group (The Right) before the match. Magno was squashed, as were Super Nova & Rocky Romero
7) Oriental & Tinieblas Jr. b PR Flyer & San Juan Kid and Rellik & Sydistiko [MW TAG]
Tournament final, I guess. Mysterious men in black attacked the Puerto Ricians, and Tinieblas took advantage to win the titles
8) Mascarita Dorada, Mini Park, Octagoncito b Pequeño Halloween, Tigresa Caliente, Vladamiro
Tigresa chatted on her phone and didn’t participate. Her partners tagged her in, and Tigresa angrily attacked everyone. Giant woman Isis debut to fight her to the back (epic), and Dorada won the match
9) Shane Helms DQ Lizmark Jr.
Lizmark fouled Helms for the DQ. Marco helped run off Treachery post match.

Nine matches probably means three shows. They now have five episodes to air, and no defined air date. Last timme, they were saying late January. This taping, they were just saying ‘soon’. Not a promising sign, and not a really good night for the the tecnicos. Strange that Super Nova and Rocky Romero both worked multiple shows without getting a match. Recapper notes a lot of delays between matches.

Next taping here was 02/05, but tickets.com lists that show as canceled and now has a 02/19 taping instead.

  5. They ran a mask v. hair match where Lizmark Jr. lost, ran away and kept his mask? Fuck that bullshit, I am out on this fed.

  6. @Phil: I’d bet it’d the usual 10 second instant pinfall match where the rudo says he never signed a contract and bolts that happens at the end of half the indy shows. But it still sucks.

  8. They still have the minis (although only Dorada and Peq Halloween really stand out) and the PR Flyers so I’m still in but man this roster isn’t the one I loved during season 1…

  9. I spoke to magno yesterday at the Lucha show here in el paso, and even he said he wasn’t sure when they’re next taping was gonna be.

  10. I wrote up this report for the Torch, cool to see it getting reposted :)!
    Vladamiro was a vampire mini with white face paint, fangs, etc. I had never heard of him either.
    My understanding is that the next taping’ll still be on the 19th- Marco, Shane and Rocky all seemed pretty confident it was still happening then. Who knows what’ll come up, though.
    As I wrote in the report, lotsa technical problems. Some really embarrassing pauses between matches and even individual entrances. Still really enjoyed both tapings so far, but there’s still stuff that could be improved, for sure.

  11. Vladimiro is new mini vampire character(mascarita doradas brother), show on the 19th (tv) another house show on 20th. Again great crowd and great matches. Technical problems before Magnos match, will be fixed next show, but this seasons production is great, night and day between this season and the first. John revelle is actually Jon recon (strongman from cmll). Did great work as a rudo! New producer of the show is Craig leathers producer of nitro wcw the last time anyone has beaten wwe in the rating war. Fans will really enjoy season two, patience will be on tv soon.

  12. Show in california was good. 1500 people on a thursday night and 0 kids. Everyone was 21 or over in the building. Casino very happy. People who weren’t there need to stop speculating like morons. If u weren’t there and saw it first hand zip the lips. How are you gonna comment and werent there??? Hair vs mask bit at the end is time honored tradition to send fans home happy. Done almost in alot of house shows all over Mexico . Alot!! Again learn the way they do real luchas in mexico and get a clue before throwing a hissy fit.
