Delta & Guerrero Maya keep titles, Mephisto/Titan

CMLL (SUN) 02/09/2014 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]
1) Camorra & Espanto Jr. b Flyer & Robin
Rudos take falls 1/3.
2) Magnus, Metálico, Molotov b Artillero, Nosferatu, Súper Comando
Tecnicos took 1/3.
3) Boby Zavala b Súper Halcón Jr. [lightning]
4) Blue Panther, La Máscara, Valiente b Gran Guerrero, Rey Bucanero, Terrible
Tecnicos took 1/3.
5) Delta & Guerrero Maya Jr. b Puma & Tiger [Arena Coliseo TAG]
Delta & Guerrero Maya are champions. Tecnicos took falls 1/3 to keep the titles. Maya beat Puma in the third fall, Tiger beat Maya, and Delta beat Tiger. A good match, though not as good as hoped. Puma seemed to suffer an arm injury near the end of the first fall. First defense.
6) Máscara Dorada, Mistico, Volador Jr. b Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión
Tecnicos took 2/3, Mistico defeating Dragon Roja and Polvora to win. The Polvora/Mistico finish was blown completely, yet they went ahead and made challenges for Mistico vs Polvora next week anyhow.

Polvora has magic powers in singles title matches. This would be the biggest test of those powers. They teased mask vs mask, which would actually be a nice deal for Polvora but completely unlikely to happen.

CMLL (SUN) 02/09/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]
1) Raycko b El Piraña
2) Évola b El Ídolo
Evola replaced Satara.
3) El Divino & Virgo b Magnum & Satara
Satara replaced Evola. Tecncios won, though a rudo referee was slow counting them.
4) Esfinge b Demonio Maya
Esfine win via nudo.
5) Gallo, Sagrado, Smaker DQ Cavernario, Maléfico, Sádico
Tecnicos took 1/3, rudos were DQed in both of those falls. Excessive violence in the first, Barbaro fouled Smaker in the third. Smaker and Barbaro agreed to a singles match next week.
6) Averno & Mephisto b Rush & Titán
Sombra was originally announced, but replaced by Rush. Rudos took 1/3, Mephisto sneaking a foul on Titan.

Nothing big from the AAA taping. Hijo del Perro Aguayo advanced to the Rey de Reyes final and becomes the favorite to win again. Zorro, Parka and Perro are all former Rey de Reyes winners. The last block should happen on the Gimnasio Juan de la Barrera show, and that card should be announced in the next few days. Full results tomorrow.

El Dandy beat Satanico in his final Monterrey match. The new ACM Twitter was very positive on the show, giving high praise to the two matches which proceeded the final.

Histeria, Alebrije, Cuije held a press conference, showing paperwork which they say proves they have the rights to those names. This is not as much about using the names in CMLL, but getting indy promoters to use them under those names without fear of being sued.

Rob has highlights of 11/22/13 AAA.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.
