CMLL (FRI) 01/04/2013 Arena Mexico [CMLL, Yahoo! Deportes (Mexico)]
1) Herodes Jr. & Inquisidor b Camaleón & Oro Jr.
Inqusidor Storm on Camaleon for the win.
2) Dalis la Caribeña, Estrellita, Goya Kong DQ Amapola, La Comandante, La Seductora
Rudas lost in straight falls, the last for excessive violence on Goya.
3) Ángel de Oro, Diamante, Stuka Jr. b Shigeo Okumura, Vangelis, Virus
Tecnicos took 2/3. Oro submitted Virus while Diamante beat Vangelis
4) Rey Cometa DQ Namajague [lightning]
Namajague fouled Cometa (again) in 6:03.
5) Diamante Azul, La Sombra, Titán b Euforia, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero
Tecnicos took 2/3. Titan pinned Roja while Azul german suplexed Euforia.
6) Mr. Águila, Psicosis, Volador Jr. b Marco Corleone, Máximo, Rush
Tecnicos took 1/3. Maximo kissed Tirantes, who was then distracted and missed a Volador foul on Marco to set up the win. Volador made the world trios title match challenge for next week.

It appears there will not be a CMLL on Terra broadcast tomorrow. The announcers had been talking about the shows airing until the end of 2012. There is no CMLL show listed for Sunday on Terra’s programming schedule and not the usual promotional article on their website. CMLL.com’s main page still has a graphic for the show. That may just be out of date. We’ll find out tomorrow, but the immediate affect is the Pequeno Reyes del Aire match may just be seen live since it’s not in a usual TV spot.

52MX aired the top 3 from Sunday.

The DF Heavyweight Championship in SLP – the one Diamante Azul lost and then CMLL decided to ignore – switched hands from Kukuxklan to Lover Boy this past week.

Rob has highlights of 12/11/12 CMLL.

4) Diamante Azul vs Rey Escorpión [lightning]

6) Marco Corleone, Máximo, Rush vs Mr. Águila, Psicosis, Volador Jr. [CMLL TRIOS]
Marco Corleone, Rush and Maximo are champions

If the best of material is running for 3 weeks, this would be the first taping to air on Teleivsa in the new year.

This is not quite champions versus champions – Kraneo is on the National Trios team instead of Volador – but pretty close. Bufete del Amor previously beat Invasor team Kraneo, Olimpico and Psicosis last July in their third defense. This would be their sixth and it seems likely they get it.

This will be the 5th straight week of a woman’s trio with Amapola & Estrellita, much longer than they usually go with these things. Maybe the holiday pre-emptions affected things. CMLL will likely be a little short staffed next Friday (and next Sunday) with people wrestling in Japan. Maybe that’s when they do the title match? Mr. 2013 debuting on that show would make some sense as well.

IWL (FRI) 01/18/2013 Deportivo Tlalli, Tlalnepantla

Cerebro Negro is the champ
6) Dance Boy, Pagano, Shitara, X-Fly vs Ángel o Demonio, León Rojo, Ludark Shaitan, Ovett

A second show in under a month; the bigger DF indy promotions are actually active this January. I count 39 luchadors (and some fans), which is a low number for IWL.
