CMLL (FRI) 02/24/2012 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Astral & Eléctrico b Pequeño Nitro & Pequeño Warrior
2) Dalis la Caribeña, Estrellita, Marcela b Amapola, La Comandante, La Seductora
Comandante replaced Zeuxis. Tecnicas took 2/3, Estrellita surprising Amapola with a roll up for the win. Estrellita joined the radiocmll booth to talk about hair vs hair match.
3) Diamante, Dragon Lee, Triton b Hijo del Signo, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura
Tecnicos took 2/3. Triton was hurt on a dive in the third fall, but Diamante still managed to land the 450 for the win.
4) Black Warrior & Rey Escorpion b Pólvora & Stuka Jr. [natl pi, eightfinal]
Polvora & Stuka, who had cost each other the Reyes del Aire with a brawl, could not work together here.
5) Marco Corleone & Último Guerrero b Hijo del Fantasma & Misterioso Jr. [natl pi, eightfinal]
6) Rush & Terrible b Delta & Ephesto [natl pi, eightfinal]
7) Ángel de Oro & Psicosis b Felino & Rey Bucanero [natl pi, eightfinal]
Rey Bucanero could not get along with Felino & Zacarias.
8) Marco Corleone & Último Guerrero b Black Warrior & Rey Escorpion [natl pi, quarterfinal]
Marco pinned Warrior, Escorpion and UG with a plancha. UG was not happy.
9) Rush & Terrible b Ángel de Oro & Psicosis [natl pi, quarterfinal]
Rush & Terrible used their big moves for the win.
10) Rush & Terrible b Marco Corleone & Último Guerrero [natl pi, semifinal]
Terrible top rope splash on Marco ended a dominant night for the winning pair. They face Niebla & Atlantis next week.

X-Project has a video from Davey Richards, from the day of the show, where he talks about his concussion and inability to make it there.

The Sobre el Ring video

Tonight is the next TxT show. The (somewhat unofficial) stip is if Santo & Villano IV beat Hijo del Solitario & Angel Blanco Jr., they’ll have a 2 masks vs 2 masks match next time out. If the rudos win, it’ll be a triangle match without Villano IV. I guess this might depend on how much Villano IV really wants to put his mask on the line!

Tercera Caida hosts say everything is fine.

Lucha Libre In Japan

02/25 NOAH: Super Crazy (c) b Ricky Marvin [XNL]

Lineup

CMLL (FRI) 03/02/2012 Arena Mexico
***Dos Leyendas 2011: Salvador Luttertoh & Bobby Bonales***
1) Fuego, Titán, Triton vs Misterioso Jr., Namajague, Rey Escorpion
2) Ángel de Oro, Super Porky, Valiente vs Averno, Mr. Águila, Olímpico
3) Ayumi vs Marcela [lightning]
4) Diamante Azul, La Máscara, Marco Corleone vs Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.
5) Atlantis & Mr. Niebla vs Rush & Terrible [natl pi, final]
6) Blue Panther vs Negro Casas [hair]

Tickets run from 500 ($39US) down to 40 pesos ($3US). That’s less than the Anniversary show (600 top) , but a bit more than last year’s Dos Leyendas (450). My attendance guess is 8,250. That’s a good number for current CMLL, but there’s no sense they’re pulling in casual fans.

Rush & Terrible are slight favorites.

Diamante Azul is in a higher spot than Metro usually got on these shows, but it may be the new normal for him.

Really good opener! Show up early.

03/02 AAA TV Lineup (Toluca)

AAA TV (FRI) 03/02/2012 Gimnasio Agustín Millán
1) Atomic Boy & Sugi San vs Gran Apache & Tito Santana
2) Billy el Malo & Escoria vs Mortiz & Semental
3) Jack Evans vs ChessmanTexano Jr.Nicho el Millionario [Rey de Reyes, semifinal]
4) Dr. Wagner Jr. & Drago vs Halloween & Octagón
5) LA Park vs La ParkaElectroshockHalloween [Rey de Reyes, semifinal]

Mexico air date: 03/10-11

Electroshock and Jack are the most likely finalsts. Jack’s got to deal with Perro some more. Electro just makes more sense then the alternative options: eithre three Perros del Mal in one match, or a guy who should be busy with Cibernetico. Not that they’ve actually announced any match there (or anything yet.)

First TV appearance for Drago since Guerra de Titanes.

Segunda is a rematch from when Mortiz & Semental joined Consejo.

Gran Apache has worked tecnico, rudo, tecnico, rudo on the last four TV tapings. It’s amazing.

AAA TV (THU) 02/23/2012 Arena Naucalpan [@terceracaida, AAA]
1) La Braza & Pimpinela Escarlata b Pasion Kristal & Yuriko
2) Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro b Daga, Fenix, Gran Apache
3) Cuervo & Ozz b Chessman & Último Gladiador [AJPW TAG]
Cuervo & Ozz retrain their titles. Turned into a hardcore match.
4) Héctor Garza DQ Heavy Metal, Toscano, Joe Lider [Rey de Reyes, semifinal]
Lider pinned Metal, Toscano pinned Metal, Argos & Texano ran in for the DQ to give Garza the win.
5) el Hijo del Perro Aguayo b Cibernético, Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Juventud Guerrera [Rey de Reyes, semifinal]
Joaquin Roldan brought out Juvi as the mystery man. Juvi beat Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. with Piero fast counting the El Consejo member. Chessman ran out and, for unknown reasons, attacked Juvi and aused his loss. Chessman then brawled with Perro, which brought out Garza. Perro snuck in a foul on Cibernetico in the confusion for the win.

Next taping is Friday in Toluca. Lineup coming up next.
