DDD (SUN) 02/19/2012 Arena Lopez Mateos [Estrellas del Ring, MT (5), MT (rest)]
1) Terremoto Negro, Tornado, Tritón (IWRG) b Belial, Black Mamba, Hades
2) Angelico b Zumbi
3) Lufisto b La Vaquerita [LUCHA POP WOMEN]
4) Juventud Guerrera DQ Zema Ion
Juvi was about to win when Samurai del Sol and Sami Callihan ran in to attack. Juvi challenged Xion to a hair vs hair match.
5) Daga b Super Crazy, Joe Lider [X-LAW JH]
Davey Richards was earlier announced as not being present (and elsewhere, having suffeblack a concussion.) Both Crazy and Lider arrived to challenge Daga, with Crazy putting his X-LAW title on the line. This was the match, with Crazy losing first and Daga beating Lider to win the title.
6) Sami Callihan & Samurai del Sol b Trauma I & Trauma II [AULL TAG]
While Trauma I took out Samurai with a dive and the referee checked on them, Sami piledrove Trauma II and got the pin. Moved up to the main event.

VO (SUN) 02/19/2012 Arena Lopez Mateos [Black Terry Jr. (flickr), Estrellas del Ring, MT]
1) Dark Side, Epidemia, Heavy Boy b Angelical, Crossfire, Stukita
2) Mohicano III & Ray Richard b Danny Boy & Gran Apache II
Lots of bleeding.
3) Drako b Tony Rodriguez, Sádico, Kaientai, Icaro [XProject CHAMP]
Drako, representing OMEGA won the new title over luchador from KBW (Sadico), NWG (Tony Rodriguez), NGX (Kaientai), Super X (which apparently still exists?, Icaro)
4) Cerebro Maligno, Crazy Star, Dr. Cerebro, Epitafio, Herejía, Kansuke, Rey del Krimen b Destello Negro, El Abuelito, Halcón 2000, Hijo de Clímax, Latin Star, Marvilla Negra, Maverick [Copa Cesar]
Impromptu 7 v 7 match, featuring members of Valerie Office vs “MTA”, most of the rudo ATM group from IWL having jumped promotions (including Trolli!) Match came down to Latin Star vs the Cerebros and Kansuke. Star defeated Maligno, defeated Kansuke, but the Doctor stopped him for the loss.
5) Vanely & Yuki Star b Big Mama & La Felina
6) Fenix (AAA), Freelance, Sugi San b Dark Dragon, Samurai del Sol, Zema Ion
Fenix got Dark Dragon with the double knees to the face. Money thrown in the ring after the match.
7) El Mesías b Blue Demon Jr., Sami Callihan
Sami was the surprise wrestler. Traumas showed up on the ramp to distract Sami (playing off the earlier show) and Mesias took advantage, spearing Sami thru a table. Demon couldn’t break up the pin in time.
8) LA Park, La Parka Jr., Super Parka b Raven, Super Crazy, Tommy Dreamer
Raven and Dreamer had a falling out in the match. LA Park defeated Raven, ending racism forever. Lots of violence, lots of bleeding.

I know these shows were recorded and I believe there is a plan for DVD release. Hopefully we’ll hear more about that down the line. No next show announced.

IWRG (SUN) 02/19/2012 Arena Naucalpan [The Gladiatores]
1) Astro de Plata & Astro Rey Jr. b Pacto Negro & The Mummy
first main show appearance for the Mummy, who earlier showed up on the Christmas Day Wagner promotions show.
2) Gemelo Fantastico I, Gemelo Fantastico II, Violento Jack b Charly Madrid, Dinamic Black, Golden Magic
Violento Jack used a piledriver setting up the win.
3) Carta Brava Jr. b Alan Extreme [IWRG IC Light]
Carta took the first, Alan took the second. Alan tried for a top rope powerbomb in the third, Carta reversed to a ‘rana, then added a splash for the win to keep his title.
4) Eterno b Centvrión [IWRG IC WELTER]
Violento Jack (Eterno) and Freyser (Centvrion) were the seconds. Eterno won the first, Centvrion won the second with a super Styles Clash. Seconds started getting involved in the third. Eterno got to the ropes a crab, then kept stopping the ref’s hand from hitting the mat for a third count. Eterno dived onto Freyser, ref watched that and not Violento piledriving Centviron, and that was enough for Eterno to win and keep his title.
5) Cien Caras Jr., Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Máscara Año 2000 Jr. DQ Angelico, Texano Jr., Toscano
Capos pinned Texano Jr. & Toscano using the ropes in the first. They blamed it on Angelico, who had done a dive and not made it back. Angelico aimed for Mascara Jr. in the second and hit Texano, which upset his partners more. Angelico probably should’ve just called it a night right then, but he went onto accidentally knock off Mascara Ano 2000 Jr.’s mask while trying to submit him, and was called for the DQ. Texano, Toscano, and Mascara beat up Angelico and declared they were bringing El Consejo to Arena Naucalpan.

X-Fly won XMW’s title, defeating Dance Boy in an elimination match that also included Necro Butcher. Halloween speared Dance Boy to set up his ally’s pin.

Averno losing the CMLL trios titles on Sunday means he has no more titles. It was clear he was willing to lose all of his championships in the ring before leaving to CMLL and almost certainly would. It took a lot longer to get there. If that title change had happened last Fall, I’d figure that meant Averno had gotten a start date in FCW. Now, that’s still possible, but CMLL’s obviously high on Rush, Maximo and Marco as a trio and they could be just winning the trios title for nothing to do with Averno.

What it does mean is Averno could leave at any point without much notice. Right now, I don’t have any upcoming matches for Averno except for a CMLL show in Arena Aficion next month (and no word on this Sunday at Coliseo yet.) His schedule has been way down this month; just the trios title program, the appearance in the incredible pairs tournament, and the two big outside shows (the PRI one and Parque Interlomas they’ve been pushing hard on TV.) No Guadalajara or Puebla trips, only the one Friday night appearance, no Tuesday shows…

AAA’s confirmed it’s upcoming TV taping schedule

02/23: Arena Naucalpan
03/02: Toluca
03/11: Ecatepec – taking the place of Leon.
03/18: Zapopan – Rey de Reyes.

That still doesn’t quite make sense unless they’re getting pre-empted this week or next. As is, Naucalpan will have to be turned around in a two days and Toluca will have to be edited and sent out to the regional networks in a matter of hours to air on 03/03. Even if they can manage that, they would have to post produce Ecatepec in negative one days.

The Huracan Ramirez who wrestled in Arena Coliseo Guadalajara show – who had previously wrestled as Huracan Ramirez Jr. on Dantes’ shows – says he’s going to tour India with Blue Demon and El Hijo del Santo around Easter.

El Pancracio has interviews with the Murcileago Imperials and Rey Dinamico.

Rob has highlights of 07/26/11 Arena Naucalpan.
