What happened:

Cuatrero tossed his mask to Caristico to draw the DQ, setting up a singles match next week.

The semi-main was a backdrop for Pesta Negra falling apart. Felino & Barbaro Cavernario wouldn’t work together, thought they were successful at first. They hit each other by accident in the second, and their fighting left Casas alone to be pinned. Casas got frustrated with both in the third and watched them get pinned.

Chamuel pulled Microman’s mask for the DQ.

The storytelling was clearer and different in the semi-main than usually happens with these things. They let the fans who aren’t watching Friday shows to see the Cavernario/Felino issue build itself while leaving Casas’ decision to another show. The action around it wasn’t much to think about it but that wasn’t the priority.

Chamuel and Microman barely worked together in the micros match. That didn’t make for a strong match but it seemed like the idea was gaining experience. The other tecnicos got a chance to work with the best rudo in Chamuel, and Zacarias got to see what he could do with Microman. That still seems like a useful singles match at some point, so they might as well get more work in at it. There was sloppiness, more so when a lot of people in the ring, but they were trying for something.
