Not a big turnout for this one. If you’re a Skywalker fan wandering it, you might want to wait a week or so for his match to turn up on +LuchaTV’s version of the broadcast.

It is not truly a FantasticaMania tour until a CMLL move bestowed a new name.

Douki got to work the tour but he also had to take the pin in every match. The CMLL guys are off until Thursday while some of the NJPW guys are working for TAKA Michinoku’s new promotion tomorrow.

Namajague’s post-match promo about wanting to challenge Takahashi and not just be a fun luchador spoke to me.

CMLL’s set up singles matches between the people left around in Mexico for all the weekly shows. None of the matches look appetizing but that doesn’t seem to matter. Tonight’s Arena Puebla main event has many of those same people: Diamante Azul, Mistico and Volador team up once again, this time against Gran Guerrero, Felino, and Templario. Gran Guerrero is getting most of those matches. It’d be something interesting if Templario got it instead.

The one singles match most likely to come from today’s show is out of the second match. Pierrothito drew a DQ last week from champion Shockercito and another win would likely set up a title match on 01/20. Those two seem like the best combination of the current regular CMLL minis, it’d be good if they did that match again. The trios match includes Astro, Kaligua, Espiritu Maligno, and the Oscar-nominated Joker.

Everything else is random trios matches, not much worth calling out. Policeman, King Jaguar, and Asturiano are among the locals putting in an appearance. The show starts at 9 pm and streams on YouTube.

Latin Lover told a news outlet he regrets not going to see La Parka while he still could. (Lover is currently on crutches that would’ve made traveling difficult.) Having lost friends like Parka, Perro Aguayo Jr. and Abismo Negro, Latin Lover says he’s glad he got out of wrestling when he did and has not taken offers to return.

Mozambique lost his mask to Efekto in Tijuana on Friday. It was the final of a relevos suicidas. Mozambique is Nicolás Torres Santiago, 30 years a wrestler, from Mexico State. This was a retirement show for his usual tag partner, Mazambula.

Bandido was announced as wrestling on the 04/02 WrestleCon Supershow Mark Hitchcock Memorial Show.

Stronghearts in, Skywalker out. The title match has been built up for a few weeks, though not for the championship they started talking about. Demonio Infernal having two titles and the value of them being the same is maybe a case not to have two titles, I dunno.
