Mephisto replaced Sanson and used a mask pull to defeat Mistico.

CMLL promos have Mistico and Mephisto teasing a mask match once again and Dulce Gardenia talking about his win.

Box Y Lucha interviews: Okumura, Atlantis Jr., Mascara 2000, and Mephisto. Atlantis is asked about his father near the end and says he’s resting at home, but there will be news on a return soon.

Not much of a show. Even the stream phoned this one in, showing up mid-opening match. Sanson missing the show is not a great sign. It’s possible CMLL just wanted to see up Mistico/Mephisto for next week and thought it was best to give Sanson an extra day off. It feels similar to Mistico returning from his motorcycle accident just to make a tour he probably should’ve taken off, but this is about the length Sanson was originally said to be out.

Mistico & Mephisto is a long-teased mask match. It doesn’t seem like it’ll happen this time any more than the others, even if it is a bit overdue.

The FantasticaMania crew headed to the airport and flew to Japan. Their first show is early Friday morning.

The Guadalajara recap is missing two match results, seems like a normal show. Local Reycko is out with a lingering ankle sprain.

Laredo Kid’s injury was teased going into last night’s Exatlon episode. In true reality show form, they didn’t show it happening until late in the show. It looked like he had a bad gash on his left knee and was taken away by ambulance. Laredo Kid’s visible in the previews for tonight’s episode, so it does not appear he’s been immediately removed from the show.

Highspots Wrestling Network has a new interview with Bandido and former podcast co-host RobViper.

LuchaWorld has the latest news update.

I’m on this week’s Strong Style Story talking about FantasticaMania and the NJPW shows the last few dasy.
