Principe Diamante is the favorite to win the mask match, though it’s not out of the question for either man to lose. Dulce Gardenia and Kawato San outcome appears certain. The tickets for this show are the normal price for a Friday show, not raised any despite having three matches.
CMLL lately runs notable shows on Christmas and Three King’s Day (01/06). The ticket prices for Christmas are around normal for a Tuesday show; CMLL said the card will be announced, but it doesn’t seem like big plans for that. That leaves 01/06 and maybe the Angel de Oro/Felino feud, which went unmentioned here. Maybe those two connect together, maybe it’s off. Those two are only facing on Saturday now. Tickets are not on sale for this one.
Those Christmas Day/New Years Day Arena Mexico shows replace the Tuesday shows this week. CMLL continues to not run on Christmas Eve/New Year’s Eve. Arena Coliseo Guadalajara will take the holidays off, moving Tuesday shows to Fridays for a couple of weeks. That may mean lesser Friday night shows in Arena Mexico.
Arena Puebla was robbed of about 230,000 pesos on Tuesday afternoon. Two people came to the building, tricked the employees to be let in, then forced them hand over Monday’s ticket revenue. They were gone before the police got there. The story got a lot of attention, though there don’t seem to be any additional details beyond the first reporting. CMLL has not acknowledged the situation.
AAA will premiere Copa TripleMania on YouTube this Sunday at 3 pm CT. It’s listed as a 3 hour 4 minute show, so it is the full show. That’s exactly when the second part will start airing on Multimedios; the cage match will likely air an hour soon on Multimedios than YouTube if you’re in a hurry. (I don’t think I’m streaming.)
Vampiro appears headed to Mexico, likely for the fourth different brawl with Konnan. It is about time for to tease a match for TripleMania (which may or may not happen.) Vampiro also mentions he’s confirmed a speaking word tour of England, though he doesn’t know the dates or locations yet.
The Crash announced they’ll return on January 18th. I think The Crash Tlaxcala is still on for 12/22 but there sure hasn’t been much promotion for it outside moving the date away from this weekend.
Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. faces Dr. Marufuji Jr. on the 12/27 NOAH show. Not sure about Dr. Marufuji’s area of study.
