Bandido wins Crash championship, CMLL weekend results

The Crash (SAT) 11/23/2019 Auditorio de Tijuana, Tijuana, Baja California [JorgeGCRR, The Crash, Zona Ruda]
1) Terror Azteca © b Baby XtremeMascara Oriental [CRASH JUNIOR]
first defense, Terror pinned Baby. Deluxe & Black Danger attacked the people in the ring afterwards.
2) Black Animal, Demencia, Silver Star b Anthar, Dinámico, Draego (Jalisco)
Black Danger & Deluxe attacked everyone again, said they’d have a person from Ciudad Juarez as their new third memeber..
3) Brazo De Oro Jr., Emperador Azteca (IWRG), Imposible b Arandú, Star Boy, Zarco
“a polemica lucha”. Imposible & Azteca attacked Brazo de Oro jr. after the win, with the Tijuana guys making the save.
4) Bestia 666 b Jimmy Havoc
Good match. Bestia challenged Havoc to a tag match with Damian and a partner TBD.
5) Penta Zero M & Rey Fénix (Indie) b Angélico & Jack Evans
The Crash notes Penta & Fenix said goodbye to the fans after the match.
6) Bandido (Indie) b Rey Horus ©Marty Scurll [The Crash Heavy]
Bandido won the title. Horus falls on defense 4, though it was Scurll who actually got pinned.

Bandido winning the title suggests The Crash believes he’ll still be available to him whenever their next show is in 2020. Penta & Fenix have done similar bits with The Crash but this time seemed like they were done for sure, which fits with the idea of AAA getting some exclusivity on them. Turnout was not good; it’s becoming harder to draw off just names with the names available, perhaps.

Lil Cholo & Mariachi Loco won the Martinez Entertainment Tag Team Championship in Texas. (Full results here.) Santo & Aereo beat Angel Blanco & Skayde in the show taped for +LuchaTV. They drew as well as always.

Rey Cometa & Virus want a rematch over three falls, which will not happen. Titan & Volador worked as rudos in the main event.

tecnicos took 2/3
6) Cuatrero, Forastero, Sansón b Carístico, Soberano Jr., Valiente
straight falls, Forastero pinning Caristico after a mask pull, setting up another Forastero match

Stuka & NGD promos. Not sure anyone was asking for another Forastero/Caristico match. Guadalajara seems to set up Mephisto/Mistico, which fits in the same category.

Argenis remembered he was feuding with Myzteziz Jr., which is bad news for the rest of us.

Cavernario did his splash to the floor but did not win in British J Cup. His match with Robby Eagles was said to be good.

Saturday was the Mexico City licensing exam. Selected The Gladiatores interview has Rafael el Maya saying the trainees quality level was low, and Virus saying you can’t completely blame the trainers for the bad performances. Sounds like it went great.
