Tonight’s CMLL show features a rematch from a short match last week. Mistico, Volador, and Soberano take on Gran Guerrero, Negro Casas, and Ultimo Guerrero in the main event. Casas snuck a win via foul on Soberano last week. Negro Casas isn’t big for long singles matches in 2019, so that feud might change around tonight. If not, perhaps Soberano gets in one (last?) defense of the national welterweight championship a couple of days before he starts battling for world version. It appears like this has to pay off in some way next week, as there’s no sign of it on the Leyendas show the following week.
NGD takes on Titan, Stuka, and Valiente in the semi-main. Hechicero, Templario and Rey Bucanero face Audaz, Krano and Star Jr. in an odd combination of people. Esfinge faces Black Panther in a lightning match. Black Panther was recently talking on Informa about perhaps turning rudo; those plans on Informa rarely go anywhere, but there’s a chance he could be a rudo tonight. Something needs to change if he can’t get the win over Esfinge. I’m not sure he will.
Kawato teams with Okumura and Virus against the Blue Panther Jr., Drone, and Stigma in the second match. Angelito & Ultimo Dragoncito take on Pequeno Universo 2000 & Pierrothito. The show starts streaming at 8:30 pm on Claro

Not much going on today. Stuka and Rey Bucanero did interviews to build-up matches which probably aren’t going to happen. Rey Bucanero wants Stuka’s mask, Stuka is willing to face Hechicero or Rey Bucanero. Stuka & Hechicero seemed like a feud the participants were very into doing that CMLL went away from, and it’s still unclear why.
There’s also the Roshfrans show in Guadalajara.
Aeroboy is headed to Japan for a Christmas Day show for FREEDOMS.
