Rudos took 1/3. Mephsito & Niebla Roja slightly feuded.

Nothing really notable on this show. Diamante Azul is the cover image for the video despite not actually making it there.

Arena Mexico has a Stuka/Rey Bucanero title match. Bucanero gives it his all in big singles matches, he just doesn’t have much to give. (Also, it’s not entirely clear a title match on Tuesday counts as a big match.) There are tag and trios matches where Bucanero would be a better fit, though he’s surely getting paid better in singles matches. That seems the most likely reason it is happening.

Titan returns for the main event, teaming with Star Jr. & Mistico against Mephisto, Templario, and Terrible. Star is a late sub for Flyer, who seemed to get hurt on Friday. Blue Panther is the third wheel for Kraneo & Volcano against Felino, Hechicero and Okumura. Magia Blanca vs Nitro will likely end with a piledriver. The rest of the matches include Super Astro and probably not a lot of good action. The show is back to the 7:30 pm CT start time everywhere.

Guadalajara has the Chavez Brothers & Diamante Azul versus Euforia, Gran Guerrero and Ultimo Guerrero, assuming Diamante Azul makes this show. They were headed towards something with UG/Azul, which would need to change. Guadalajara is pretty consistent about listing main event changes on their Facebook.

Arena Queretaro has a mask match between Kastigador vs Vengador, two local luchadors who’ve been both teaming and feuding since at least 2012. It’s a prototypical “two local guys who are good but don’t wrestle a lot out of their small group of wrestlers” deal. +LuchaTV has been featuring promoting the match: a press conference aired yesterday, along with interviews with Vengador, Kastigador and the promoter. They also had a sit down interview with both. I don’t have a great feel for who’s going to win, though it does feel like a match certain to air on +Lucha later. Maybe even live tonight.

The semi-main there has Dragon Lee & La Mascara against Rush & Bestia del Ring, a rare bit of Dragon Lee being opposite his family. Arakngel Divino & Ultimo Maldito are on the card as well. The show starts at 8:30 pm, the mask match will probably be a couple of hours later.

AAA InvadingNY will air on the El Rey Network on Sunday at 7 pm. It’s been listed at least twice before, but there’s an actual press release now. This show is already up on AAA’s YouTube channel; it’s possible that version is the one meant to air on El Rey. The InvadingNY show will have aired on FITE/PPV live in both English and Spanish, AXS, YouTube, a special done for Space, a version done for Azteca with different commentary and now El Rey Network.

ESPN Mexico has a story on Penta showing up on George Kittle’s shoes.

Xalapa’s Corsario de Fuego is in critical condition following being shot on Sunday. Clasico Alto Rendimiento, the promotion he runs in Xalapa, put up a press release with that update and to fight back against rumors that Corsario de Fuego was involved in some criminal activity that led to this shooting. They’re planning a benefit show soon.

Mexico City’s lucha libre commission will hold a licensing exam for luchadors, referees, and announcers on Saturday. I was unaware of ring announcers’ licenses.

The Crash’s final show of the year in Tijuana will be 11/23.

EMW again announced Rush for their 12/06 show, then deleted the post. You can still see the post on the owner’s page.

El Planchitas’s gossip is Rush was supposed to be at Heroes Inmortales, but he and AAA did not agree on money and on getting La Bestia del Ring booked as part of the package. The EMW card features both of them, though that may be different for a local promotion than a TV taping. AAA does seem like they’ve given in on that point in a different case, booking the LA Park sons to get the father in Monterrey.

The column also says Sofia Alonso is returning to CMLL soon, after having been on vacation in Asia for a while. There’s also a suggestion that the reason she was moved out of power is stories of CMLL losing money while she was in charge. It’s not clear if CMLL was actually losing money, or if that was something exaggerated to give push her out. It’s hard to figure out what she would’ve done to cause that in the short time she was in charge, though it would fit with Chavo Lutteroth cutting pay immediately upon getting taking over.

+LuchaTV has a new edition of their podcast.

LuchaWorld has this week’s Poster-Mania.

There will be a wrestling expo in Chetumal.

Segunda Caida resumes their reviews of Lucha Underground Season 4, a thing I totally forgot they were doing.

Lineups

CMLL (SUN) 11/10/2019 Arena México
1) Leono & Sonic vs Apocalipsis & Espanto Jr.
2) Átomo, Gallito, Microman vs Chamuel, El Guapito, Perico Zakarías
3) Blue Panther Jr., Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Sagrado, Universo 2000 Jr., Virus
4) El Audaz, Esfinge, Rey Cometa vs Pólvora, Tiger, Vangellys
5) Ángel de Oro, Diamante Azul, Niebla Roja vs Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero, Terrible
6) Carístico vs Gran Guerrero

It is more Caristico’s singles matches. I think they could try someone else.

AAA , ELITE (FRI) 11/29/2019 Arena Xalapa, Xalapa, Veracruz
1) La Hiedra & Lady Shani vs Diosa Quetzal & Rossy Moreno
2) Niño Hamburguesa, Radioactivo, Villano III Jr. vs Chico Che, Mandala, Zumbi
3) Abismo Negro Jr., Parka Negra, Rey Infierno vs Astral, Caliz, Trittón
4) Hijo Del Vikingo, Myzteziz Jr., Octagón Jr. vs Argenis, Dr. Karonte, Verdugo (Elite)
5) Averno & Hijo del Tirantes vs ? & Vampiro Canadiense
6) Blue Demon Jr. vs PaganoElectroshockChessman [super libre]

This is a taping, though ELITE shows only pop up on AAA’s YouTube around the time they have a new one to promote. (That should mean shows from Naucalpan & Ecatepec popping up in the next few weeks.) The big news here is ELITE finally put Argenis & Dr. Karonte on the same team instead of having them turn on their partners in every match.

Myzteziz’s name popped up on the 12/18 Reynosa show too. This could just be AAA listing people for shows for no particular reason. It does make me wonder if AAA knows Myzteziz will be free from his Exatlon duties by then. Laredo Kid is not being advertised.
